I have to say, I am extremely impressed with all of my interactions with Extra Space. I had two interactions with managers today. Sean and Diane are amazing. They were quick to respond and were both so helpful. I made a reservation at Seans location but showed up at Dianes. She was so helpful and was able to communicate to the other location about the mix up. I was in and out the door in less then 30 minutes (even given a site tour to my unit) and honored the original agreement. Amazing. I recommend 100%. 10 out of 10. They have my business for life.

Great storage rental place. Manager is super friendly and helpful. Ive never had any access issues, elevator always works. Not the cheapest, but very convenient location if you live downtown.

Excellent customer service, very easy to work with even for last minute needs. Our stuff is safe and secure, and the parking lot is spacious for loading/unloading.

The ExtraSpace team here has always been so accommodating! They have assisted me countless times with my frequent (and typically quite large) deliveries. They always greet me with a smile and a wave and gladly answer any questions I may have.Equally important, the facility is conveniently located right off of I-26 making it easily accessible from downtown or I-26, always clean and very well lit.

The space is neat and clean, but watch out. Our rates just doubled. Thats a bit extreme in my opinion.

My wife and I recently relocated to Charleston and were living in a small apartment while looking for a house. We needed a storage unit somewhere nearby. In searching the web we saw an add for Extra Space Storage and I drove over to see it for myself. My first impressions were very good, large well maintained building and grounds; the manager, Darrian, greeted me warmly and showed me the various units without using a hard-sell approach. The whole place was very clean and appeared to have great security. I rented a large storage unit for almost 5 months and it was all good. Always clean, always safe. Further, Darrian once called me to let me know I hadnt locked my units door properly and it could be opened. He couldnt fix the problem because only tenants have keys. I returned and correctly locked up with nothing missing. His personal efforts were sincerely appreciated.I would most certainly use this place again and strongly recommend it.

Everyone who works here is phenomenal. My daughter had to move all of her stuff by herself and they could not have been nicer. Super clean, climate controlled, safe, easy, inexpensive. We will absolutely come here and use this facility again, it was fantastic.

Raises rent about every 6 months (without notification) and not on par with local market, make sure to shop around as many other competitive options available. One of the two elevators is normally broken, lights are slow to be replaced. Office is hard to track down when there is an issue, and lots of pointing back and forth between corporate offices and local when it comes to who is responsible for increases, communications, etc. Convenient location but that is about all they have going for them.

I used this location for an online store warehouse storage facility and the location couldnt be better. Every single staff person that I met couldnt be more friendly and helpful. Theyre running an excellent business and would highly recommend the facilities. The price is a little bit on the high-end but thats because of location. And for what Im doing I need to be a centrally-located as possible so its well worth the monthly rent.

Love this place!!! Everyone here has been so helpful. So this year our daughter is graduating and has a job traveling for a year. So now we have to store her things for the year. So we had to transfer from a small unit to a larger unit. The staff here is so helpful, friendly and courteous. If I could give them more that 5 Stars I would!!!! Katie helped us move into our bigger unit and was wonderful showing us the unit and answering any questions we had!! Went in and spoke with Katie. Told her exactly what I needed. She messed up the unit size I wanted, and didn’t put in the price that she quoted me. I spoke to the manager who was VERY rude and told me there was nothing he could do about it. I told him it wasn’t right to charge me for his employees mistake. He finally said he would try to get the rate adjusted. . . 2 weeks later and still have not heard back from him!!! Worst customer service I have experienced! He could have easily done a rate adjustment but was not concerned enough to be helpful to his customer. (Would have been customer. I took my business elsewhere)
