I am a mid-handicapper, always struggling with this game, ready to give it up many times. Until...I took a lesson from Kim SImmons. She keeps it simple, understandable, and reproducible! I have taken many lessons that confused me more, but not this time. She is also a great person, the best!

Edwin Watts Golf is my favorite place to get golf related gear and products in the Charleston area. They have a wide selection of cool products and more than you could possibly want. The staff is really helpful at helping you find exactly what you need. This is a cool store that has everything.

I took my granddog in to get a halter, he was chocking himself pulling on the collar. Store was not crowded and was able to get the cashier to help, he needed a XXS, found a simple one on clearance... we got it on him, (yes it took both of us to get it on his 5 lb body).. at the reg the great surprise, it rNd up at 84 cents!!!NOT GOLF, PETCO!!!

Everyone here is very helpful and knowledgeable. I got some irons and they let me try a bunch, with no pressure to buy something. They do great work with fittings and adjustments.

Ive worked with them a couple times. Minus 1 hiccup, which was resolved, everything went great. Ive read some of the reviews and Kevin has been nothing but great to work with (and I dont have family money). He has helped me out and went above and beyond to get me what I need at a price I can afford.

Bought $1000 irons there a few weeks ago after custom fitting. They were drop shipped directly from Taylor Made. I needed to have the lie angle adjusted and called Edwin Watts to see if they would do it for me. They said no problem, they would do it for free. I brought them in and the repair guy, Kevin, clearly did not want to do it. After a snide comment or two, he said “they are cast irons so they may break”. Obviously, I’m not going to risk breaking a brand new set of clubs I just purchased. So I quickly left as they snickered to each other as I did. I just got off the phone with Taylor Made custom fitting and they told me “He should not have said that. We bend them all the time, you just don’t want to do it repeatedly. But you just purchased them. If you can’t find anyone local, ship them to us and we’ll take care of it at no charge”. That’s how it’s done. Edwin Watts Charleston won’t care, but I surely won’t be back.

If you don’t have “ money “ or “ money in the family “ just know you will be talked down on. Considering we spent $600 - that seems a lot better that double or triple that. We will never step foot back in there.

Its a golf store so its good for that. Good for balls, gloves, tees and other common golf equipment. Mostly outdated stuff. Does not carry any of the latest and greatest. The demo sets are very limited. Not much try before you buy. Looking for golf shoes? Good luck. Not much to choose from.

This is a long overdue review so Ill get right to the point. Assistant manager, Kim Simmons, is outstanding in providing deep product and fitting expertise along with extraordinary customer service. From the first time I walked into the store Kim appeared to be the star of an Edwin Watts training video on creating and delivering a positive customer experience.I could go on and on with the details that resulted in me purchasing a full set of custom-fitted clubs and a beautiful golf bag but Ill simply say thank you, Kim for your guidance and support. The Edwin Watts Corporate Website states: Our goal is to have our customers completely satisfied with their equipment purchases.... Congratulations to Kim on delivering on that promise!

Went in to look for a used set of irons. Kim, the assistant manager was so helpful and nice. She found me a used set of AP2s in mint condition. A deal of a lifetime for the price. Awesome lady!

One of the few great golf shops around. Every time Ive gone in Ive had a great experience. Ive had multiple clubs regripped here and several fittings on the simulator. The folks on the floor are super helpful and not pushy. Kim, the assistant manager, is amazing and truly one of the more genuine and friendly people Ive ever met. Give Edwin Watts a shot, wont regret it.

Kim was absolutely amazing. She spent a good amount of time fitting the clubs for my husband. She showed him technique and found exactly what he would need for his new set. Then, she sent us off to feed the hungry impatient toddler, and said to just come back when we were done, and she would have everything set to go. When we got back, all the new clubs had their new grips done, bag set up, all the needed golfing supplies ready. She even got him a wedge ready even after they were set to close. They never said anything about my kid playing with items in the store. It was a superior experience. We will be back. Thank you.

Was picking up a club that was reshafted and there was a fellow in front of me talking to am employee named kevin who does the regripping and replaving shafts. I over heard the heated convsation and the employee (Kevin) was so rude and sarcastic to this man that i ended getting in between them. The cuatomer said that we was going to leave a horrible review amd the emploee (kevin) changed his tune really fast because he knew he was in the wrong. Then the employee (kevin) and i got into a verbal comfrontaion. The situation could have been completely avoided if the employee (kevin) showed the customer just an ounce of respect.

Absolutely thrilled with my experience here. Robert, the club fitting specialist, was very helpful in finding the correct club for my game. I will without a doubt be back at this store.

Awesome store with everything you could ever want. They have two launch monitor bays and a knowledgeable staff. It is a fun store... but I wouldnt ever go there again. I spend money there any time I walk in the door. My wife hates Edwin Watts.

Excellent service, will return as my game improves! Ive been golfing for about a year with a set of garage sale clubs and have inconsistent results. On a recommendation to get fitted, Mick spent 15 minutes with me to determine what lie angle and shaft flex I should be using in my irons. Despite being a novice, he treated me with respect and courtesy. Im not yet good enough to buy new clubs and his used clubs werent my fit. But when my game improves, Ill be back just because of the personalized service. Thanks!

Staff is very helpful and very knowledgeable! Kim Simmons worked very hard with my son and I to make sure our clubs fitted us correctly! They also stand by their 90 day club warranty no questions asked!! Only golf store I would go and shop!

I wont drop any names because all the staff are uber knowledgeable and fun to deal with, find your fav. Have fun with them, they will bend over backwards to try accommodating anything you can envision. Been to all local golf stores in 28 years, yet I go out of my way to visit Edwin Watts. Try it, I bet you 3 birdies you will to.
