Got a 2006 s60 and thought it could use a good revamp. Took it to Maaco for a full body paint and very happy! Man at desk was very personable and friendly. They gave me a good price, timely return, and great quality!

Customer service was not bad, but I highly recommend asking them if they can match the color of your car. Ive only had my car a year, I should not have to drive around with a two toned car. Ive had paint work done on my car before and they got it closer than this. After asking what could be done, they stated this was the closest they could get. I now I have to pay another company to fix it.

If you have and old car and you dont care about how itll look, this is the place for you. In addition to that I was charged for a bracket because I needed it they didnt ordered it or got lost at the time when I picked up my car in wasnt installed it was about 10 days till they finally received it from the dealer but at that time I had already purchased and installed it, it turns out there are 2 brackets in my car of course they ordered the cheapest one which wouldnt work because the more expensive one was required they refused to order the one I actually needed it. Bumper clips, screws missing parts not aligned or badly put back together, orange peel, runny paint.. like I said, if you dont care, take it here.

These people had my car sitting at their lot for two weeks without touching it ans when I asked them why it is taking that long for them to fix it, they simply replied with would you like your key back? Very unprofessional!!!!

I was promised 5 different completion dates, poor quality, poor communication, very unpleasant. I ended up calling law enforcement for them failing to release my car. I got tired of being jerked around. Car wasnt cleaned, poor body repair. The GM constantly lied. Body damage painted over. Their full of excuses. Be warned. That franchise should be shut down. Very bad business.

Service and quality of work was terrible. Management was very un corroperative and un professional took two cars to have painted 2 years ago. One paint didn t last 2 yrs. Was told it was under warranty. But then was told I had to pay half....then 2nd car had some minor repairs done and paid difference to have while car painted so color would all match. When I picked up all the repairs wasn t fixed. And Management said it wasn t on the estimate. But was directly under the damaged door. He said he would do me a favor to fix. But I WOULD GET WHAT I GET.....it doesnt t match up now...he did nothing to compensate and niw is blockincalls

When we received our vehicle back from MAACO it had orange peel and fish eyes all over it, it had paint dripping. They lost a bracket for the bumper that we were told they would put on the vehicle which they never did. They charged us for the service but did not perform that job. The screws for our bumper are missing, they were never put back. They did not put our bumper back correctly. The covering for a part of the bumper is gone. When we took it back they said we had to pay again. The manager, Corey was very rude and disrespectful. We also had a 1993 Mercury Capri get a full body paint job. The hard top for it was not tied up right, it flew off when we drove it back to our lot. All of the emblem and factory stickers on the vehicle we missing and never returned to us. As their customer we are very disappointed and felt like we were treated very unfairly. We paid for their best paint to be put in our vehicles. However they were ruined instead of being fixed as promised. We had to call them to see if our vehicles were ready after weeks.

The process was handled flawlessly. I was not happy with paying for a complete paint. Was charge extra to completely restore the tom but it was not done

Dont take your vehicle to this facility for painting services, had vehicles painted several years ago and they did a fantastic job, recently went back to them to have one of the same vehicles painted again and noticed different management. Parts were destroyed and misplaced, and after 3 months paint started to crack..The management team goes out of their way to make you feel that what happened is your fault or an underlying issue is the reason for the problem ....It frustrates you when you know your vehicle and if they are the professionals that they claim to be, why dont they point thing out before agreement to render services...Another Maaco may work for me but this one could not paint a brick for me....Needs new management team.

My car was in a car accident took my car here to have work done and went to pick it up on yesterday and not even 10 mins my car broke down in the middle of the road smoking and making all kind of noise after I paid $500 now I had to push the car to a safe place when the tow truck cam he had to push it on the truck so stress out now what am I going to do !!!!!!

They did a very good work. The car looks amazing. And were very happy with the final results of the paint job. They went above and beyond to make sure that they gave great customer service. From calling about the updates on the car. To letting us know any type of issues with the car. And any other changes that they had to make before finishing the car. It was in and out within a few days with great craftsmanship. And it is very appreciated. People that have great work ethics, put they’re all into their work and you can tell. I had a amazing experience at this location with assistant manager Q and Ray the tech. I was told my truck will be ready sat. And receive call 1 hr before closing advising it wont be ready do to lack of employees, tech Ray took upon his self to call assistant manager Q to answer my concerns and this man came in on day off and got my car ready in 1hr and fixed all mishaps ( WHICH WAS NOT MANY). I am thankful for the workers at this location.

I have a 1995 Honda Accord EX that has very high miles (400k+) and some sentimental value to me, so I like to keep it looking and running like new -- new leather, new sound system, and new paint. These folks did an outstanding job with the exterior appearance. As the original owner, I have watched the original paint fade over 20+ years, and when I decided to make the cars exterior look like new again, I called around and got quotes as high as $5,000, but for this car, that investment is excessive. Maaco quoted me around $800 and showed me some of their other work, so I decided to go for it. I am glad I did. After they were finished, the exterior looked like new, and even after 11 months now, the paint still looks like new. Now, I have a car that looks and feels like new inside and out, and the car is much more fun to drive. Good job! I will be back.

For the price of a reg paint job etc Maaco cant be beat!

Had my car repainted and it was a good quality paint job. Looks brand new and they had it ready in 3 days. I expected a little more attention to detail for the price, however. They forgot to re-install the windshield fluid nozzles, some tape was still on the car, and my windshield has a minor scratch on it. Otherwise, friendly and polite staff and Im happy with the results.

Very appreciative for the time and effort composing the auto estimate.

Terrible customer service

It took me a week in a half for my car to get back. They called me 3 times stating they needed more time to put on a bumper. They were inconsiderate of my time and money. The workers were very rude and had attitude because I was concerned about my car. On top of me getting it back late, the bumper was not put on correctly. It was budging out. I would never recommend them to ANYONE. Save yourTime and money. Worst experience ever.

Staff was nice Service was not good. I will definitely not recommend this place. My car need it a new coat of paint. Thank goodness I got the warranty but didnt do any good. The 1st paint job was really bad bubbles all over the car. Took it back to be corrected and it was a very poor rushed job the paint didnt even match. A waste of time and money never again!!

This is the worst place to get your car repaired. Back in January they were supposed to replace a bumper and fog light. The bumper wasn’t placed properly and the fog light didn’t work, in fact they messed up my other fog light. They didn’t use dealership parts instead they used the cheapest parts on the market. Take your car elsewhere!!!

Ive had the worst 2 years. Lost my husband, moved to Charlotte with my kids, lost my job, 2 months later found a new one and got into a car accident on my way to work. After the accident there was a weird rubbing noise whenever I braked. I called around to a few places who said they couldnt help. I called Maaco and they said bring it in. I got there and explained I did not have a lot of cash to play with and would like a quote first. They not only checked my car, but fixed the problem, fixed another issue I wasnt even ready to deal with yet, and when I asked how much- the gentleman said Consider it a blessing. My God... If only he knew how much his action helped my family in that moment. I cant thank them enough. Please use this location. Its not just about the money for them. They care about the people who walk through their door.

When I turned 18 my parents wanted to paint my car for me for my birthday. Long story short I had everything stolen out of my car. I had speakers and an amp that I had worked on weekends and after school for a year to pay for that just so happened to be stolen while in their care. Their response, it was stored inside our gate so we arent responsible. I think their employees stole them. Dont trust this company.

This is my first time going to this place and location. I got into a wreck and was found to be at 50/50 fault for which neither of our insurances would pay for the damages since I have liability, but David out of his kind heart had helped so so so much by fixing few things in my car which were unbearable for free. I have never had anyone in this repair field who had fixed few things without any cost. This place has amazing people with beautiful heart. Def recommend them!!!!!!

My wife and I went to this Maaco location to have her car bumper repaired and painted, along with other collision work, after an accident we were in. We were really satisfied with the service we received, the pricing was extremely fair and they finished 2 days earlier than we expected. Will definitely go back if we ever need their service and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

The Maaco off of North Tryon gets a bad reputation for little to no reason man.. I mean Ive heard my fair share of rumors and all, but, in all honesty, this place has given me the best fast-paced, quality customer service out of anyone. I went in around two weeks ago and got the cheapest paint-package they had to offer. At the time, I believe it was the single-stage enamel paint with clear coat, and it cost $400. I dont make much, so I settled for this. The end price averaged around $650; this was due to the spoiler-installation/rear-bumper touch-ups I wanted done. That aside, I should mention, that the warranty included in this package was voided. However, this is because most of the bodywork was done by my father and I, so its to be expected. JP gave me the hookup on the estimate; he even called me an uber home that day...The vehicle was turned in on Monday and finished the following Thursday. I didnt get the chance to see it until Friday, but I wasnt disappointed..Long story short, this place means business. When I signed the paper work before leaving my car I specified I wanted my old parts back and signed it. When I came to pick up my car at the time they gave me, it was not ready and they told me to come back an hour later. I saw my car in the garage when I came the first time and it was clearly not done. I came back an hour later and it still wasn’t ready so I waited a little while and paid my bill. When I asked for my old parts Joyce told me the parts were not there anymore and that the mechanics don’t really read the paperwork. I had already paid so I knew there was nothing else for me to do. I have a hard time believing they changed my parts as they were supposed to I think they just painted over my old parts. And gave me an excuse after taking my money. I will say Customer service was on point but I have concerns about their integrity and will not be returning to this N. Tryon st Maaco.

Corey and the crew are very friendly and helpful. Id reccomend this place plenty times over. Just dont go there for any serious damage like engine and stuff.

The manager has an attitude with me the moment I got there like he is ready to get in an argument and he didn’t wanna walk to the car so he asked his assistant to let me bring the car to the front door! Then when he came out he told me u need to change the pumper I told him there is some work to be done on the body not only the pumper he said u don’t tell me what I need to see. I told him I am just telling you what’s going on so u can give me an estimate!! He said you are at the wrong store!?!? I wonder how they hire ppl like that to be managers??

I dont usually leave reviews before I purchase a service or product, but I felt compelled to leave one for these guys. I took my truck in for an estimate on my Honda Ridgeline. Its an 07 and i want to freshen up the hood, front bumper and mirrors b/c there are chips and scratches from normal wear. The estimate was fast, and JP gave a couple options that I was comfortable with. I liked that there were options based on price and quality - and I was not pressured to go with one or the other. Although I am probably going to wait until after the new year, I will get my truck repaired by these guys. I look forward to leaving another review upon completion. I would definitely recommend these guys so far!

To Maaco: This review is about this Maaco. I was definitely at this location. I assume you saw a one star, tried to find my name and couldnt find it. I never signed any paperwork, so thats not surprising.Avoid at all costs. I had an unfortunate car wreck and maaco looked like a decent place to get it fixed at the time. I paid to get the car towed from the place that towed it originally to maaco (this location). When I visited to get a quote, the clerk woman walked with me and did a single circle around the car to look for damages. Nothing was opened or actually checked. I went inside and she quoted me $8700 on the spot. I tried to ask her what she was charging me for (itemized list maybe?) and she lowered it to $7200. I told her I still couldnt afford that at the time (Id need to look at loan options and such). Without any haggling on my end, she dropped the price eventually down to $5500. At this point, I knew I couldnt trust any of the numbers they were throwing at me and I wanted to get quotes from other places first. I had several mechanics come with me to maaco (without their knowledge) and one quoted me much less than half of maccos lowest quote. However, when I told maaco about this, they held my car hostage. They wanted storage fees and other fees they never told me about and I never agreed to. I never signed any paperwork. At that point, I got frustrated and told them to just keep the car. Do what they want with it. After I hung up, I went on the search to buy a new car and had one within a week. End of story for me. A few months later, maaco called me and asked me what I wanted to do with the car. I told them to keep it and they told me they couldnt do that (Im assuming theyre right here) and that Id need to pay thousands in storage fees to come pick it up. I told them I never signed any papers and they got mad at me and started yelling. After I told them I wouldnt pick it up, they told me I WILL pay for the tow to my house and hung up on me. The same day, my old car is sitting in the middle of my yard. I guess when maaco wants to do something, they get it done. And they were right, I did pay for it. They stole the battery from my car (and who knows what else?) and deflated my tires (though didnt puncture them). I ended up selling the car for scraps (Thanks for the extra money maaco). Stay away from this store, theyre a thieving, lying, and deceitful company. This all happened a few years ago. I was scared to write a review out of what else they might of done to me at the time.

Went to have bmw painted and they did a lousy job did not put parts back that were remove by them and tore up the shield under went to talk to them about it and the said it was like that when they got it did not remove dents that were on the car when you see this business Run and I mean Run you will regret it if you dont

The paint is extraordinary it would be a much better review if everything I bought to them would be fixed as I thought leaving the place the customer service is awesome. I feel there mechanical team is rookie at best they did not know how to operate simple functions on my vehicle as they did not fix everything because a lack of quality testing on there work all in all it was a good experience just know what you need done and if you pay for it make sure its done

I just picked up my vehicle from Maaco on N. Tryon today and am very disappointed in the quality of its paint job. There is paint on the grill and damage from where the tape was removed. Pin striping was to be done. The body shop worker assured me that they would be able to do this. Today (the day my car is ready for pick-up) is when I was notified that this would not be an option. This is the second vehicle I have taken to this Maaco. Both cars left the shop looking worse than they did when they entered. Customer service leaves much to be desired. I would stay far, far, away from this Maaco.

DO NOT GO HERE. EVER.Ridiculously overpriced for the finished product and experience.Entire car was dusty, inside and out. Dents were left in the doors that they didnt bother to fix. They proceeded to put it on while we stand in the parking lot. Pieces of plastic and metal (that clearly belong to the car) are sitting in the backseat, no clue what they go to or what Maaco broke in my car and didnt fix.Truly the worst customer experience ever. Beyond unprofessional.

When I got there the lady at the reception was very rude and not respectful. The owner was standing right there and did not correct her, He was nice when I talked to him but that dose not cut it.

Again and again Baylon and his crew are awesome. My car got into an accident and the front bumper got dented and scratched. They did a great job replacing the parts that were dented with OEMs. They also communicate very well with both my insurance and myself. It took a little while because the car is new (audi q3) and the parts were coming all the way from Germany. They repainted it and its matching perfectly with the rest of the car. When I got my car back, I noticed an issue with the adaptive light system in the dashboard. I brought the car back in and they fixed it right away.I just feel really lucky to have found them and I just hope that as Baylon and his crew gets to have more and more people coming, theyll keep the same quality and professionalism.They are awesome and I hope we can keep them as our go to place for years to come.

STAY AWAY!!! This place is horrible. My car was towed to this location for repairs. While on the lot my wheels and tires were stolen. I was advised by the shop manager to file another claim. It took almost a month for them to repair my car and the night I picked it up the heat wasnt working. A week later my car overheated and broke down on the side of the road. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY!!!

They want $499 to paint the whole vehicle but $300 to paint my front bumper... These southern mosquitoes wreak havoc on a front bumper!! 😆 Saw their work... will definitely have them paint my truck!!

I have multiple racecars and Tom and JP are always on top of it and they do great bodywork. Is it a perfect paintjob? No. But you get what you pay for. If you buy the $299 special, your car will be painted and not rust...thats about it. You want the good stuff youve got to pay for it. I always buy the $1000 top of the line package WITH the additional wetsand. Anytime I have ever noticed overspray or anything they may have missed, Tom and JP ALWAYS take care of it. Never had a problem with this Maaco.

No courtesy what so ever. Lady on the phone is not trained enough to speak with repeated customers. My self and 3 other dealerships complain about this place. Maaco Monroe will get the business on forward instead.
