I would give this place 10 stars if i could. The customer service and communication is what you wished you could get everywhere. The ladies upfront to the techs are just super people and so nice and helpful. Then there is the work. These people are truly masters at their craft. I was amazed the way the damaged rims looked when done. If you need wheel repair go here. I have already reffered several people and will send everyone there.

Went to RGX today because of the positive reviews. I should of known to read the negative reviews first. I called multiple times and never got through in the morning. I then sent a email through their website with pictures of my wheels and what I was looking for. With no response and since I was already out and about I stopped in. There was absolutely no one else there. When I stopped in I casually said that I had been calling and no one answered the phone, and I sent in pictures with no response. I stated that I understand being busy. The girl at the desk said she was very busy and that some other girl had relocated so it was just her. Thats totally fine I understand being busy, but again there wasnt a single car in the parking lot or person there. I explained that I needed a steelie for my 2015 Corolla or to have it replaced. To fix it she quoted me $130 + mounting and balancing + tax. When she gave me a guestimate price I laughed out loud. She said atleast $150 + mount and balance + tax for a new one. I told her I had just looked at some other places and found it for less than $100. I told her thats fine Ill go else where for that. I asked about my other set of wheels that had a small dent and some curb rash. She quoted me another $135 roughly + mounting and balancing + tax. Not only that, but she literally told me that there was chance that theyd would break the spoke off, and told me they would come back with damage to the wheel from their tools and stuff. What?? You would return my wheels with damage on them that you created?The wheels are only $200 new so I decided not to do that. And also their turnaround time was 2-3 weeks she said.Honestly, no way I would go here, their prices are absurd, turn around time is ridiculous, and their customer service is lacking hard.

Nobody wants to pay 1000 dollars for new ccw wheel...these guys fixed my pot hole bends...10 years of bsd rash on chrome lips...and color match black painted honeycomb part of the ccw classic wheel and the nuts on two piece wheel..not to mention..mount and balanced new tire. 220 bucks per wheel for all 4 things done to each one. ....im so happy...they look freaking brand new. plan to have all done..will save me thousands. A+ keep in mind you can do services separately...but more affordable to get everything done at once! satisfied discerning retired Military guy here.

I had 2 rims on my “driver side” of my car with prior “curve ” damage that was in desperate need of repair.😩😩😩😩. I scheduled my appointment on Monday July 6, 2020 for my repair in Saturday July 11, 2020. (I recommend you call ahead of time to schedule an appointment especially due to COVID-19).The day before my appointment, I received a call from Ashley who wanted to confirm my appointment. Ashley was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. She answered my questions concerning the overall process and my timeframe for having both of my rims “re-surfaced”.On Saturday July 11, 2020. I arrived at RGX rims and was greeted by Ashley, she further listened to my concerns and inspected my rim damage. After speaking with Ashley about my options, I decided to have both of the rim faces “entirely repainted”. The technician did an amazing job and both rims were completed under a 3 hour timeframe. As an added bonus, all 4 rims on my car match in color so it doesn’t look odd or off balance. 🙂🤩🤩.I will be returning to have my other 2 rims on my passenger side repainted since paint on both of these “rims” are chipping away. I have included a Before & After Pic Of 1 of the rims to this review.I would highly recommend going to RGX Rim Repair to my fellow Googlers. I brought my brand-new SUV to RGX to get a rim fixed due to curb damage. Quoting was very simple, accurate and fair using their website tool. I went for wheel restoration. My appointment is schedule for 2 times but went for 3 times. As they didnt do job 2nd time properly. They have done good job on couple of tires on first appointment. Second time they over buffed the wheel. When I asked technician abt that, he is very rude and asked me to buy new wheels. Then I showed more incorrectly finished spots he got frustrated and shouted at me. Then supervisor entered the party a really comedy piece. They explained and I explained to him the issue he said we will fix this one for you. Later part of the day I went to pick the car. Work is half done I asked them abt it. They said we did what can be done. And everything is looking fine. Same technician started shouting again. Supervisor came and he is tried to convince me but couldnt. At the end he offered me a option saying he will refund the money and damage the wheel again. What he thinks of him? Am I his slave? Do he have minimum responsibility of dealing with the customers? For sure I am gonna report it to ncdoj. Beware of this fraudulent guys.

They corrected curb damage I thought would not be corrected without adding new material. See before damage. I also included photos of the corrected rim and one that had no damage for comparison. It has been two weeks since the fix. Car went through automatic car was yesterday. Not enough to determine longevity of the fix.

I was very happy with my experience with RGX. They promptly delivered an estimate after I contacted them with photos of the damage, they provided timely reminders of my service date, and the technician that helped, Justin, did a great job on the repair. The waiting area was nicely set up, taking into account proper social distancing, and Ashley who greeted me and handled paperwork was very nice. Brandi, the other attendant, helped me set up my appointment and was also very friendly.The ultimate price was exactly what they estimated, and the result exactly what I wanted. If (once?) I damage my rims again, Ill be back to RGX.

Had a 1:00pm appointment to repair my front driver side rim due to the fact that I hit a curb. Showed up at 12:50pm and they me out by 1:28pm!!! Now thats amazing service. You cant even tell where I hit the rim. Thank You - will recommend!

I cant thank Luke, Jessie and Sam enough for their professional, courteous and fast service as they came out to my station and restored my precious wheel in 30 minutes. And they did it for a fraction of the $375 I was thinking about paying for a new wheel!Let me be clear, Im a great driver, its not my fault people build curbs where they dont belong. But you can see from the pictures I included that I scraped it. Say hello to curb rash; more like a gouge. I included before and after pictures. I am thrilled!! Iread through the reviews and you are never really sure on how truthful they are.BUT took the chance.I will say that I had a few reservations at first, as this was an expensive Foose wheel.All I can say is WOW. I curbed my 22 wheel and almost cried. The damage was so bad, I considered buying a brand new wheel. I took it to RGX Rim Repair and it looks brand new. I cant even tell where on the rim the damage was. On top of that, it only took a couple of hours. If you need some damaged wheel work done, go to these guys FIRST.

One of the regional managers contacted me after my issue, and she was a GREAT help, and very professional. I’ve seen a couple one star reviews about the rim work from RGX, but I have also seen a ton of 5 star reviews. But I am expecting an amazing job especially after my talk with one of the regional managers. She even set me an appointment on this upcoming Monday herself. Can’t wait!

Great job repainting my Lexus IS wheels. The finish was a near perfect match to the OEM liquid platinum wheel color of the IS F-sport. This is a difficult color to match so I highly recommend RGX Rim Repair for repairs and repaints. I had a good experience.

RGX is top notch! I caused some pretty gnarly curb rash on my front passenger rim. After my car detailer recommended them I started to do some research. I saw the reviews and the before & after pics that past clients posted. After that, I made an appointment and it was a great experience from start to finish! I took some pics and sent them thru the site. A couple of hours later, they called me with an estimate and I scheduled an appointment. Ashley who I met with the day of my appointment was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. She answered all of my questions and was pleasant the whole time. Eppie was the technician who worked on my rim and he killed it! I scratched up one of the rims on my brand new car that I had owned for less than 48 hours. I didnt know anything about rim repair, and was searching online to find out how much a new rim was going to cost me. Thats how I found these guys. I decided to try getting it repaired instead of replacing it. They made it look brand new for a fraction of the cost of a new rim. It looks like there was never any damage, I cant even tell anymore where the damage was.These guys are amazing.

After a month of having my brand new wheels on my car I decided to curb them taking a three inch gash out of the front one and a two inch gash out of the back one passenger side. I was completely bummed out and really didn’t want to drive the car anymore. I was a total baby. I would rather lost my phone or have my wallet stolen. Before I put the car back on drive I began calling rim repair shops and came across this one. This place was the first to pick up. I called two others. I honestly didn’t know what to expect when it came to the repair, but after two and a half hours this guy was finished. I can’t remember his name. When approaching the car I was looking and could not see anything and neither could my son and he is just as picky as I am and not scared to let you know the truth. We got next to the car/wheel and still could not see where there was an issue. We are amazed and I couldn’t be more happy. The only way I could tell where the damage took place is where the tire was slightly damaged by the rubber. The wheel and color was matched perfectly. This guy deserves all the business and now I am just looking for stuff for him to make better. I am thinking brakes calipers next.

When I Googled rim repair near me the first link on the page was RimGuard Rim Repair in Stuart - RimGuard Xtreme. I click on the link and the first sentence of the first paragraph is Serving Stuart, FL with their Rim & Wheel repair needs. Stuart, FL is where I live.So I sent in a quote request with an attached photo via their website feature and then get an email back asking me to please send a photo, so obviously the site doesnt work properly. I send the picture and this is the reply I get, Okay, the wheel is indeed repairable. However, we do not have a physical location near you. You will have to ship the wheel to us with the tire removed. We cover the shipping both ways. It is about a 1-2 week turnaround time and a starting price of $180-$200 plus tax per wheel.False advertising and insanely overpriced. Not only do they want me to pay to have someone remove the tire, they want me to ship it to them and be with out a wheel for two weeks, and then pay someone to mount and balance the tire again! And they want me to pay an outrageous amount of money for this? The damaged wheel costs $144 brand new and its not even bent. What a joke.

I had quite the agitating experience with RGX Rim Repair Charlotte. So let me share my experience... I dropped my car off with them to have all four rims powder coated, and new tires installed on my vehicle. I was given an estimated turn around time of two weeks and a price of $880. Which I happily accepted and was okay with. The following day I get a call stating that two of my four rims are slightly bent and HAVE to be fixed prior to powder coating or they will not provide a warranty on the powder coating job. The price to fix the two rims was an additional $200. I hesitantly agreed to pay the additional cost in order to get the warranty on the powder coating job. Now mind you... this brings my total to $1,080 at this point that I am paying these individuals to do a good job on my rims based on previous reviews. Well a little less than two weeks goes by and I get a call stating that my car is ready to be picked up. I was SO EXCITED that it was done early that I made my fiance get off work early in order to drive me up there to pick up the car. I would like to add that I live an HOUR each way from RGX Rim Repair in Charlotte. So we drive the hour there and guess what I see in the parking lot...? My car with black powder coated rims and SILVER CENTER CAPS. THEY HAD FORGOTTEN TO PAINT THE CENTER CAPS some how. Also, upon further inspection, the actual powder coating itself was bubbled in multiple places and needed to be fixed. Well my options were to have them simply paint (NOT repowder coat) the center caps and bubbled spots for a quicker turn around time. OR, to send them back off for another week to be repowder coated. I opted to just have them painted since I was going out of town the following day and they stated they could have my rims done by lunchtime the following day to take my car out of town with me. WELL... the following day goes by and NOTHING until roughly 2 p.m. They finally call to inform me that my wheels are STILL not done but should be done by 5 if I wanted to drive up there and pick up my car at 5. Well, I personally didnt wanna waste another two hour drive to potentially arrive and my car not be ready when I got there. So I opted to just let it be for the weekend and pick up on Monday. WHICH ITS A GOOD THING I DID. Because, I get a call Monday afternoon stating that my car is finally finished. I informed them that I would have been LIVID if I made that drive on Friday and my car was not indeed finished. By this point I had already grown frustrated with this company and my patience was wearing THIN. Since I didnt have a ride up there until Tuesday, I opted to pick up Tuesday morning as soon as they opened at 8 a.m. WELL GUESS WHAT??? They bring my finished car back out and trash had gotten embedded into the paint of one of the rims. SO AGAIN, THAT WHEEL HAD TO BE REPAINTED. I dont know who is quality control at this place, but they are TERRIBLE at their job. Since the tech informed me that it should be an easy maybe hour and a half fix I opted to just stay and wait for my car to officially be DONE. So I waited that hour and a half and my car was FINALLY finished. I was going to leave a one star review for this place based on such a negative experience that I had with them. However, during my last wait on my car Ashley was polite enough to speak with the manager about how frustrated I was and was able to convince the manager to give me 20% off my services refunded back to me. That is the ONLY reason I am giving a three star review. Because the experience itself was TERRIBLE! I will just say that if you want to receive the quality that one would expect for the high cost then I do NOT recommend RGX Rim Repair Charlotte to you.**EDITED TO FOUR STARS FROM THREE STARS, DUE TO CORPORATE REACHING OUT TO ME AND TRULY CARING ABOUT MY NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE. Great experience. I can give RGX my highest recommendation. Had 4 tires installed from one of the big tire chains. Immediately had a high speed vibration. Took it back a couple times and they finally told me the issue was that my rims were bent. RGX inspected my tires/wheels and told me that the big chain store did not balance my tires correctly. After correct balancing the vibration is gone. Josh is a superstar who not only fixed my problem, but also explained in detail the issue and the fix. Also, Ashlee at the front desk is great.

I would give more stars if I could. I had a great experience with RGX, especially with Joshua. I unfortunately dropped one of my beloved wheels on its face one sad day. I contacted RGX and started the process with Joshua. He repaired my wheel perfectly back to original condition, all for a much better price than I thought I would have to pay. Everything was excellent, from the customer service, to the actual work performed. I would recommend to anybody in need of wheel repair services to choose RGX.

Never again!1st it is overpriced, I took several months to decide on the repair, since the price of the repair is almost the price of a new wheel!So, I took a picture of the bent and I called RGX, despite the high cost I gave a try since the front desk was very polite and she said that they will EVALUATE before the service and I TRUSTED!After only 2 days after the service the tire was losing pressure exactly the same as before... Of course, after almost $200 the minimum that I was expecting was to have the tire pressure problem going away...I drove back there and by my mistake I said that the service was done in another wheel, and guess what? They came back saying that I had a bent on that wheel, too... After my mistake sorted out, they came back again saying that the issue was because of Nails on the tire... but on the call they said that they would EVALUATE before the job, so, if the loosing pressure was because of the nails, why didnt they tell me before the service started, so, I could decide if I would throw away $180 on an unnecessary bent repair or not? Was the EVALUATE done as they said on the phone? I have 2 set of tires (Winter and Summer), so, at least once an year I inspect my tire and wheels, and I am pretty sure that I had only one rim with a potential rim repair needed, since only one tire is losing pressure... And why I am say is and not was losing pressure... because after the rim repair (I still have doubts if it was really done or not) and the nails repaired, the tire is still losing pressure and not only losing pressure but also making road noise like something was stuck on the tire! I explained the situation to my credit card company and I disputed the charge... I will not spend almost $200 on an unnecessary service and still continue with the same issue!!! RGX NEVER AGAIN!

I received great customer service and was surprised on how much the rim repair costed.. For anyone out there thats looking for their rims to be fixed, cleaned, aftermarket, or custom painted,I would recommend this shop.

Searched for rim repair online. I read the reviews online from customers. Based upon the positive research, I contacted RGX on Statesville Rd to schedule an appt to get an estimate and get my rim repaired. The customer service person was knowledgeable and provided me with an accurate estimate for the repair which was very reasonable and the rim repair was outstanding. I hope I dont have to, but if I ever have a rim issue, I would definitely return to RGX. Thank you RGX!

Of course Im pressed for time, as usual. Brandi greeted me at the front desk and turned me over to Josh who explained everything. Outstanding service and incredible results. Very reasonable prices, and I was back on the road in 90 min. The big shocker is how my car now rides and feels. I now have a confidence in the way my car handles. This is old school integrity. These guys are top notch! Great quality work - they are truly artists, yet their pricing is very reasonable. I was devastated when I grazed a curb in a very tight parking deck, which scratched a wheel on my brand new Cadillac ATS-V, with the optional After Midnight wheel package. I went ahead and accepted I would have to buy a replacement from Cadillac at just shy of $500. Luckily, I was searching on google for wheel repair, thinking there was no way to successfully fix my scenario without replacing the wheel. But...Kevin and the team at RGX made it look brand new...literally...for just over $100. The paint matches perfectly, and in full honesty you cannot tell where the damage was. Im still amazed, as I had no idea this technology existed. These guys are professional, friendly, love cars, and do top quality work. I found some OEM rims in a salvage yard that were in bad shape, but that style was limited. I called all around Charlotte and finally found RGX. They took the time to review ALL my options and together we found the best one. Even with the rims being stubborn, they persevered to ensure they were perfect!!! They even mounted and balanced my current tires on the new rims!! Josh and Ashlee were outstanding!!! I even decided to have them paint my brake calibers with high heat paint!! Unbelievably great customer service. They call the same day to remind you of your appointment. They also send you a reminder text. Extremely friendly. Was having bank issues the day I got it done. They were extremely patient with me. I had a bend and two cracks in the rim. Got me in and out in two hours. A new rim would have costed me upwards of $300. Only paid $280 and the rim is like new. The motorcycle wheel was not slowly heated up(tempered) before they centralized heat on the area that needed repair, which caused a crack to form at the base of my spoke. The rim will go to another shop that can repair the original issue along with the new crack that needs welded.Great communication with the employee that completed the repair. The front office could improve upon how to communicate that your merchandise may be damaged during the repair process because heat may be needed, REEAD everything before you leave your wheel(s).I would recommend inquiring about the repair process, tempering the metal should be included to avoid stress cracking.

If you have any issues with your rim or rims, I highly recommend giving RGX RIM REPAIR a call or visit. I have been all over Charlotte (and Raleigh) to try to find a shop to repair my cracked rim to no avail, but I gave RGX a visit and they were straight up whether they could or couldnt fix it and thats what I like. To sum it up, they fixed my rim at a resonable price and made it safe for me and my family to be on the road. GREAT JOB

Great service at first I thought it was a little too much for the cost because I only had a slight bend around the beed but at the end of the day my rims was fix and it was fix right . The customer service was great, the tech guy had came in and got my car for service before I even finished the paper work. Also the ladies at the front desk were really nice. I guess you get what you pay for. In all I am really happy of the outcome it was just hard to stomach the price but it is what it is

Josh did an amazing job painting the brake calipers red on my Maserati! It looks unbelievable!!!! He even attached the vinyl stickers I provided!!! I highly recommend Josh and RGX!!!

Super job, very pleased with the service. Called on a Friday, and was expecting a tech to come out next week, but a local tech called me about an hour later and was on site to my shop within 10 minutes. Way easier than me coordinating my car down to Charlotte and getting a ride back etc. Price was very fair per wheel. I had scuffs on the lip of the rim from previous owner, these were custom black 22 inch wheels and they turned out great. Will use and recommend again, thank you Jeremy Williams for all your help.

I had ugly curb rash on on of my rims. I put off doing anything about it, because I thought it would be too much trouble and expense for what was just cosmetic damage. Had I known how quickly and economically RimGuard could do the repair, I would have had them fix it sooner! The staff were helpful and courteous. They fixed my wheel while I waited, they did excellent work, and did it for a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

This place is a hidden gem location-wise. But Im glad its the first thing that pops up in a Google search for rim repair. Their customer service is outstanding--from the initial call to the actual repair. Brandi is always so helpful and friendly with getting me straightened out. The technicians do an awesome job that its hard for me to find where the damage was initially. Id hate to have my wheels damaged again, but if they do Id come back to this place with no hesitation.

RGX ~ Rim Repair did an excellent repair on my Ferrari California damaged rim. The repair took about an hour and the staff was a pleasure to do business with, they were courtliest and informative. This was my second repair, the first was a couple of years ago to a damaged rim on a Mitsubishi Spyder. Outstanding workmanship ~ highly recommended !

Took my 2019 Altima to RGX on 8/2/19 in the Charlotte location because of a rim that I had curbed and was greeted with the upmost respect and excellent customer service in the business! Outstanding results. I had one rim that had cosmetic damage and one rim that was bent. As they were checking the rims out, they checked all four and found a second bent rim. The damage that they found and their repair process was explained to me, as well as the pricing, before any additional work was done. The work was completed as explained in the time promised. I damaged my rim on a curb.. They did a great job repairing the rim in about an hour and a half. They had a nice waiting room with WIFI and the staff was very friendly and professional. I could not have been more happy!

My Mercedes Benz C300 AMG rims received a deep curb rash from my stupidity had to get it fixed. Was having issues with a slow leak in one of my tires that turned out to be a cracked rim that the big box tire shop could not fix. These guys were close and had good ratings so I stopped by for them to take a look at it. Not only was it cracked but also bent in two places. They took the time to explain the repair process and the cost. Very reasonable compared to buying a new OEM wheel!! They had it fixed and I was out the door in about 45 minutes!! Wow! Great service, very friendly, highly recommend!

These guys are the real deal. I made an appointment late afternoon yesterday, arrived this morning, and they took me right in. They knew who I was, what I was in for, and they also went to see the damage with me (rather than assuming that we dont need to tell them). The quote was more than fair, and even though the tech had to take extra time to mix a custom color for my Subaru OE gunmetal wheels, it was still done in EXACTLY 1.5 hours and the match was perfect. I cant tell where the damage was anymore.I was nervous because of the negative reviews left on this page, but I took the dive and I can say that these guys really like talking to their customers, providing the best service they can, and keeping things professional, easy, and fast. They did all this without sacrificing quality; their wheel techs are the real deal. I would absolutely return to these guys for any wheel damages that occur in the future.

I brought a single aluminum wheel in for an old truck that we are restoring - it was the spare, and had clear coat peeling with corrosion. I was skeptical that they could do much with it.
