My AAA representative was great. The shop was top notch. He communicated with me, charged little labor. It was our of his control that all parts hadnt arrived in 3 days. Apparently this holdup was on FedEx, parts stuck just 2 hrs away in Raleigh by late Fri...so I had to pay an extra day for car rental at $75/day.That was Hertz price, (the 1st/ last time Ill use them.) Hertz stands much improvement! They were 15 min away& said theyd pick me up but put off pick up time to 4:30, when it was then 18 min away & they changed their mind.(AAA got me a Lyft.)On the phone with Hertz I was told Id have a choice in cars but got there & they said I didnt. It was a base level Corolla & there were a dozen of other cars on the lot. No one explained ANY of the features. As it got close to 5, I heard the manager tell his new employee not to answer the phone. They closed at 6.
I arrived without an appointment because I was having trouble starting the vehicle and I did not want to turn it off in case it would not start up again. They quickly took the car in for diagnosis and determined a new battery was needed. I was soon on my way again after only waiting fir a few minutes. Great service!
If you dont have a ride to pick you up they have a decent lounge room with a small kids area, coffee area, and a snack vending machine! The reps were cordial and very easy to deal with! This AAA is the only facility Ive entered that has a multi-faceted services! Here you can check travel, insurance, car care, and you can even purchase your next level up luggage!
My son called Triple A Battery 4 days ago because his car wouldn’t start. They sent a battery specialist who ONLY deals with batteries and that person told my son his battery didn’t need to be replaced it was was at 98%. Fast forward to today-it needs a new battery and positive terminal and wiring totaling around $350. Also, they told him that he needed an alignment and he just got one FROM THEM 3 weeks ago, b/c they told him he needed one then. Apparently, the technicians always put that as a “reminder”. So who’s to say he needed the one 3 weeks ago? They don’t even look at that unless that’s what your car is brought in for! They told me to disregard what THEIR colleague-the battery “specialist” said. To me, these are misleading, deceitful sales tactics designed to upcharge unknowing customers. Then they tell my son to pick his car up because it’s “ready” but don’t know if it will even start… this was the worst experience! Truly disappointed in Triple A.
Stephen Lane is an amazing agent. He helps me a lot and he is nice to work with. He is very good at explaining the tiny details in my policies and makes sure that I know everything before making important decisions. This is the best AAA agent I have ever worked with!! Definitely recommend 10/10!

Dave Fuge helped me with my service. He was amazing. He listened to my issues and responded professionally and pleasantly ( two qualities that are rare these days). I am somewhat of a car guy and was relieved to have someone that was a trained professional car expert working on my car, not just some guy with a job, like most places. Not sure who the technician was but the work performed was excellent, completed when I was told, and didnt hit me with the usual extra expensive emergencies associated with most garages. Cudos to this place, they will have my business for a long time to come

Tire blew out on I-77 on a Friday night - actually AAA towing was miserable - took hours. However, they took car to this shop and I talked to Mike the following Monday morning - from afar we worked out the car did need two tires and an alignment - all done in just a couple of hours and car ready to pick up. Still have body work to deal with but much appreciated their getting the car back on the road so quickly.
Been here prior but today they were unprofessional and this should be unacceptable for such a big company. Dropped my truck off at 11am for a 1 hour oil change. Called around 2pm to find out if it was ready. Was told it would be done by 3:45pm. Showed up at 4:15pm, and got my car back at 5:15pm. I missed my prior scheduled engagement. While cashing out, they said I owed $20 more because my car takes more oil but the reason I go there is for the discount. At the end I could have went elsewhere and paid less for less time. No one was sorry for keeping my car all day. No one was apologetic for having me wait all day. They could care less. Will never go back to that location. Just terrible.
Terrible staff and management, extremely rude and unprofessional, bottom of the line location, however they’re top notch scammers. Avoid this location and these people at all costs to avoid a headache.
Stay away from this place. They overbook, claiming that you have an appointment, only to have your car sit in their lot for most of the day. Then, they incorrectly (intentionally or not, who knows) misdiagnose your issue. They charged me over 1k to fix an oil leak that, 3 weeks later, still leaks residual oil. Stay especially far away from Mike Alexander, in service, who moves like a sloth and has zero people skills.
After waiting for 1hour to get a toll truck I was there for over 2hours waiting After I said I wanted a toll truck to just take my car to my house was when they jumped and got my car into a bay and started working on it.

I set up appointment for oil change, fluids topped(washer fluid) air filters to be changed and wheel alignment. Called the particular branch to get a quote on everything to be done and the oil change process, where I was told that during the oil change the tires are looked at to be rotated, balanced and or aligned as well as other request that I’ve selected to be done via online. Got the car and only thing was done was the oil change that’s it. It’s like nobody took time to look at request from online and rushed thru my work order due to appointment being set @4:30 pm on Friday and employee’s purposely committed to hurrying thru work order and ignored the fact I wanted to get a wheel alignment with new air filter as well. But instead gotten a service that I could’ve done myself and a argument with employee about what/who I talked to about appointment that I set up via online and then called to confirm. I’m highly upset b/c I now what exactly I set up appointment to get done and still have to find time to get something done that I’ve requested already again

I always know what to expect when I take my car into AAA. The staff is always professional & welcoming, the facility is clean and theres somewhere for me to sit and work while I wait for the service. In particular, I have always taken my car to the Huntersville location but most recently, the manager Jacob Dietz, was transferred to another store so I followed him there. I know I can count on Jacob to provide me with an honest opinion and fair price to keep my car working at it best. Thanks Jacob!
Most of the mechanics are super nice. But it’s one mechanic I can not remember his name he has long brown hair. That guy is probably a trump supporter.
I went to this places for car inspection, and they was so courteous, professional and on time!! Place clean! And the guys has the uniforms clean and professionals! I will recommend this place and definitely I will come back for any other issues with my car! 😉
My alternator was going bad while traveling home from Florida. With seven hour drive left they rearranged their schedule to get us fixed before closings. Got us back on the road in under three hours. Awesome service.

Attended a Car Care Class with my daughters girls scout troop. They rolled the red carpet out for us on a Saturday evening after work. The employees were so excited to teach our teens how to care for a car. The safe driving lesson by Nicole put the icing on the cake. What a great way to build relationships in the community. I learned a few things also. I am a fan of AAA and will be a new customer. Thank you!

Well, my appointment was at 10am. I arrived 10 min early and told my vehicle may not be seen until 1pm. I called about 2pm to check on my vehicle. It was just receiving the Diagnostic Test; someone would call me back. About 4pm I received a call to say it was not a battery issue but test driving for any power or transmission issues. At about 5:15pm I received another call, no problem noted but suggest a new battery. I agreed since this 2016 SUV had my original battery. I was picked up to retrieve my vehicle and left this shop about 5:45pm. Thanks for the Lyft drop-off and pick-up! Yes, my clerk admitted it was his 2nd week on the job, but my vehicle was there over 6 hours...much better service 3 years prior with my 2008 coupe.

This is the only location that I will go to even if I have to drive farther to get there. I keep everything clean and sanitized and go above and beyond for all customers, with a smile on their face! Ive been using this AAA center for oil changes for the past couple years, and my most recent visit a few days ago was my last. The employees are always nice and they complete the oil change for a reasonable price, but what has been increasingly annoying to me is how AAA tries to scam me for unnecessary services EVERY TIME that I go. My last visit they didnt even try to hide the fact that they were trying to scam me, telling me that one of my fluid levels was low, then when we looked at the reservoir tank it showed normal and there was nothing they could say (see pictures attached to this review). Another common claim/scam AAA likes to make is that my fluid is discolored and smells burnt, except that when I examine it myself (or one time I took it to another mechanic for a second opinion), everything is normal. One time I had even just paid for a $1000 fluid flush of essentially everything (as required to maintain my factory warranty), and when I took my car in to AAA a couple months later for an oil change, they claimed my brake fluid needed replacing, due to the way it looked visually. When I inquired how that could be as I just had the fluid changed, suddenly AAA found no issues with it in future oil changes when they did their multi-point inspection. So, this review got wordy, but I wanted to provide clear reasons and evidence how AAA tries to scam me every single time I go there. As such, I will not be using any AAA car care centers again. BE AWARE before you get any services done there. I attached a couple pictures as proof from my most recent visit of how they tried to scam me. I get at least one fluid problem every time I go in for oil changes, and yet everything always turns out magically ok without ever needing to do anything other than ignore AAAs scams. I gave this AAA center two stars only because they do perform the oil change as expected and the employees are nice, but otherwise this center deserves one star for its deceptive and predatory practices.

I try not to leave negative reviews, so I will at least say their staff was friendly. That being stated, there is 0 benefit to using them as a triple a member. The rates quoted were that of a dealership and higher than what I have paid somewhere that specializes in BMWs. Will not be returning.
Technician cut corners. Came in for an oil change and tire rotation. Marked my car tires before hand and after the service was complete, came out to find that the tires had not been touched and rotated. Told the front staff and they were friendly and took care of the issue. It just stinks because the technicians were not trust worthy. They were trying to cut corners and hoping that I would not notice.

I am becoming more disappointed with this location. They are ill-informed when it comes to car service and I am not totally confident they have the customers interest at heart. There is no one you can go to because they all seem to be incompetent.

To the good, they were able start my car when the starter failed. To the bad, they were not able to help me until the following day. The cost of repairs quoted were $800 vs $550 @ a competitor. And they wanted to charge me an additional fee to diagnose it. The technician told me that if I didnt pay for the diagnostic and their new starter didnt fix my issues, that I would not be able to have them fix it until I had them do the diagnostic and they might have other work to do ahead of me. Basically, I felt strong-armed into that diagnostic. I had the work done elsewhere. They get the second star because they started my car when I could not, but that was the tow truck drivers expertise, not the garage. AAAs only good for towing. Expect that is all they will do for you for a fair price.
Heard a noise under hood, need for vehicle inspection
Today was my first day for a new job and I caught a flat tire on the way to work. I stopped at the WT Harris AAA location to only be treated with utmost urgency and respect. When I tell you the manager Randy was extraordinary, I think it may be an understatement. This guy and his staff was absolutely AWESOME!!! The service was very efficient and the service was pretty fast. If you are ever in need please stop at this place THEY ARE THE BEST IN TOWN!!!!!!!
Very very very dissapointed in the service provided.My car broke down on Friday while we were headed to Florida on vacation, called AAA, truck was dispatched quickly to pick us up. Due to COVID we were unable to ride with the tow truck driver, ok I understand, we were then directed to call Enterprise to pick us up, the tow truck driver was willing to wait for us, but Enterprise didnt up for another hour and a half. We decided to walk along I85 to an off ramp, then to a gas station to wait for Enterprise to open, when Enterprise finally did open I called, they had no one available to deliver or pick us up in a car, so I had to use UBER. Rental car done on my way to Florida.No information Monay, No information Tuesday, finally on Wednesday, they call me and tell me its a locked engine and will be $7,900.00. I asked them to check on a recall, for the engine they said they did $7,900.00.I called the local Kia dealership and told them my car was on the way,Short story, Kia found the engine was a recall and replaced it $0.00,And when they were ringing me up at KIA, the brand new engine and installation was $4,800.00 to be paid by someone other than me,Hence cancelling AAA, buying Kia roadside assistance

The AAA at WT Harris is great because they will never charge for a service that you do not need. Stacey will help you with everything. She recently showed me how to change the battery in my key fob so that all I had to do was by a $7 watch battery. The dealership wanted $130 for a key fob. It saved me a lot of money. I have gotten tires, oi changes, services and it has all been a great value. Stacey even sends thank you cards. The AAA at WT Harris really does customer service right.
Had a scheduled 9:30 appointment to replace a 30 minute replacement of a low beam headlight. When I arrived at 9:15 they did not even have me on the scheduled list even thought I had received a confirmation text informing me of my scheduled time.They then informed me that my car would be done by 11:30Arriving back at 11:45 to pick up my vehicle and to my surprise the car had not even been moved and the work done down.. no apologize nothing. Very poor service and professionalism

I went here to have my car inspected for registration renewal. First of all, you need an appointment. Second, everyone was friendly and welcoming. There is free wifi and a vending area though an employee comes around every five minutes or so with free bottled water or coffee. The area is clean and comfortable if you want to hang out or there are a few shops nearby if you would rather leave.
Prices are average. The service people are always helpful. I recall they will unlock door .and let you stand in vestibule if there is inclement weather . Friendly, kind, helpful people. The shuttle helps a lot for my scheduling. You drop off car, shuttle drops you off/ picks you up from work. They inquire around what time you would like your car ready to determine if they could meet that time or as close as they can get to that time. You also receive text messages not only when they start working on your car, but they inform you when you car is ready. Great convenience!
Took car to have my new tires installed. they said 20 bucks a per tire. Charged 12$ more for valve stems, and only changed one valve stem. Gave me a report testing all fluids and saying accessory belt was cracked badly. Recommended fluid change and belt change. I inspected acc belt was in good shape and fluid was flushed within 3 months ago. Ended up costing $100 to change 4 tires and one valve stem. Watch out for this place, expected to be better for AAA shop.

Took vehicle in for a inspection which passed next day car does not start. I was told battery reading low, mind you I am not having car problems. Called for service lucky my car was in my garage I pulled up my hood to find knobs not right no windshield fluid, the cap off. As well as caps not placed back like they should. Sorry place they have lost me back to dealer I go

Negative experience. My first re-inspection attempt ended unsuccessfully when my scheduled time was not possible due to over scheduling. I left after a 30-minute delay after arriving for my second attempt, which I confirmed in advance that same morning. Go somewhere else.

I booked an appointment a week in advance, I called to verify as the week was coming to a close as I have a tight business schedule with only one day allotting me to get my car serviced. I explained to the woman on the phone the importance of ensuring I have my appointment in which she guaranteed. The night before, I receive an email stating someone else was also booked on the time slot and they moved my appointment to another day. After calling to get some more information, the receptionist was extremely rude. I am a Platinum member with AAA and have been for years, its not so much the challenge of the double-booking, its how they reacted when I called as if they dont care and gave me the :oh-well attitude. The funny part is after having to cancel the new date, I received a call on the Original date asking if I was still coming in at my time selected.....
WT Harris Service and Service Reception guys have a great attitude and are first class in Customer Relations.

5th time is the charm. I took my car to AAA to have the air conditioner repaired. I paid $1,000. The first time they told me it was repaired, I took a road trip from NC to MD, and found out the AC was NOT fixed. 4 times back in the shop and it is finally fixed (knock on wood.)
I dropped my car off at the AAA Charlotte location off of W.T. Harris blvd. I told the gentleman at the front desk that I would walk over to pick my car up after work around 5pm like I normally do. During the day we experienced heavy rain and wind with some power outages. By time 5pm rolled around the rain had stopped so I walked over to attempt to pick up my car. When I reached the front door I see a sign that reads “Power outage. Will reopen 10/12 at 7:30am.”I am fuming at this point because my car keys are locked inside of the building and I have no way of getting to where I need to be after work. I am disappointed at the fact that no employee attempted to call to inform me that they were closing early. I understand that their phone lines were probably down due to the power outage, however a manager or someone with good sense should have began contacting customers from their personal cell phones.To make matters worse, I walked over to my car and try opening the door just because and yes, you guessed it, my car was unlocked. So, you close early without contacting me and leave my car UNLOCKED in a parking lot. That is negligence!! Anyone could’ve taken my car. I am so disgusted with how this situation was handled.
Very unhappy with my services at the WT Harris location. They were unable to find me as a member and I didnt get a member price. I was quoted $41 for synthetic oil change. After the oil change I was told that I needed an osw oil change which was $10 more. Before any additional services were done that changed the price I should have been notified and agreed to it which I did not. I was told I couldnt get a tire rotation cuz the treads on my tire were low. On my receipt it says non-member price . So in addition to not getting the member price I was overcharged As a AAA member I expected the same service that Ive always received from the Steele Creek location and I didnt get that. The only good thing is the place was super clean thats the one star.
Good Service. Purchased four tires and an alignment. Car still rides a little rough. Wasnt expecting this. A little disappointed. Maybe it is the brand of tires. The Custoner Service was very Good. Would visit this location again because of that.
This is my experience at AAA car care. The customer service rep. show me the monthly deals. I declined & asked for the 29.99 oil change. The customer service reply oh the cheap one. I was appalled by comment. I waited 2 hours for an oil change, 40 minutes of it was due to I didnt receive a call from the customer service rep.
Service advisor was extremely professional. Price seemed a little high for the work that was completed; however, issue seems to have been takencare of.

The only reason this place gets one star from me is because you can’t give zero. Had my truck towed there because of a bad alternator and since I’m a AAA member it was convenient and I got a 10% discount on the service. I got a call from one of there service consultants to tell me my battery wouldn’t charge and I needed a new one. The battery in the vehicle was under warranty so I told them just replace the alternator and I’d take care of the battery issue. I go to pick up my truck and they have it running to charge the battery. I get in it and turn it off and back on to see if In fact the battery is not holding a charger, it fired right up. I proceed to leave and find my HVAC system will not turn on. The service consultant and I checked related fuses and all seemed good. I made an appointment to come back two days later to have someone look further into the HVAC system issue. Now in the two days between I had no starting issues and the battery is working as it should. I left the vehicle with them two days later and they found a blown fuse so they say. It’s not enough with this place to spend $400 plus on a repair then they try to get a battery out of me and the jury is still out on what the HVAC problem was. Do yourself a favor and stay clear of this place.
