I had a nail in my tire and when I googled tire repair shops H & H came up with great reviews, so I called and they were able to take a look at my tire in a timely manner. Thankfully it was able to be patched and they had it completed in no time! I believe that I got a great deal on getting a tire patched! Cost me little down time and didn’t hurt my wallet. H&H provided me with thorough updates on my vehicle and kind customer service. They strike me as both honest and fair - which are rare qualities in the auto repair world. I was very impressed with the quality of work, and even the lengths they went to clean up the undercarriage after they fixed both a new coolant leak and old oil leak. They seem to specialize in 4x4s, especially Toyotas - but I would trust them with any vehicle.

I needed to get my car checked out before going out of town and I walked in to H&H with no appointment or prior notice. Even with a full lot and garage they were willing to try to fit me into their busy schedule. They called me back the same day with the problem and a reasonable quote. They had it fixed by end of business hat same day. Great customer service!!!

Leigh fixed my car within 24 hours of me dropping it off when two dealerships I called couldn’t “fit me in” for up to 5 days from the problem occurring. With Leigh and H&H, I was only without my car for 1 day! First time using them but they just gained a new customer!

I highly recommend H&H Automotive. The owner is actively involved on the business side as well as the service/repair side, and the shop technicians appear to he highly skilled as well. The service adviser keeps me actively informed of whats going on with my vehicle from a pricing and scheduling standpoint in a highly professional manner. To me, the bottom line with H&H is fair pricing for quality work with a turnaround time I simply cannot find fault with. Just a great group of folks to do business with!

Had a flat tire in Charlotte and came across this shop. They provided immediate and friendly service and made sure I was back on the road to beat the traffic out of the city. Their courtesy and extra care really brightened my day. Many thanks!

Really nice guys, but I am very dissatisfied with the service I received. They either missed very obvious defects in a car I took to them for a prepurchase review, or they did not complete in what they represented was a thorough inspection. Although they said the car was in great mechanical condition, after driving it 300 miles i took my land cruiser to get a small leak looked at and to check some of the fluids. When the shop opened the transfer case fill plug the fluid inside was liquid metal (thrust washer was installed backwards by another shop who rebuilt it less than 5000 miles before) and there were metal chunks on the fill plug. Two shops said it was an obvious sign that the transfer case was malfunctioning. Took truck to land cruiser specialty shop and they showed me the worn washer and transfer case housing and both were a few miles away from failing completely. Moreover, there was no dust cover on the slave cylinder causing it to get fouled and leak fluids, also an obvious defect. Thus, had the transfer case fluid and the slave cylinder been looked at I could have avoided getting stuck for a week and dropping $2400 on a transfer case rebuild and housing, and a new slave and clutch cylinder.Talked with the shop owner to let him know about issues and he did agree to refund my inspection cost. However, already down $2400 it is not much solace. Again, really nice guys but i am extremely dissatisfied with them for missing what two shops said were obvious defects.Only reason I am posting is that I relied on these reviews when selecting them.

Best mechanics on the planet! These guys get cars and are so much more that a technician who plugs your car into a computer to see whats wrong. Honest and knowledge as well. I wouldnt go anywhere else

They saved the day as my serpentine belt was about to break. Joe was able to squeeze my truck in and get me going shortly after at a reasonable and fair price.

I walked in and there were two guys behind the counter. One looked right at me, so I said “hi there” and then he just turned away and looked at the computer with the other guy who was seated. I stood there for what seemed like forever before they said “what can we do for you?” while staring straight ahead. I said I needed an inspection and he rudely told me it wouldn’t be done til the end of the day. He proceeded to tell me how long the actual inspection would take versus wait time while looking at me with this look like ‘don’t you get it you idiot?’. Didn’t really seem to want my business as he immediately referred me to a place down the street before even hearing my answer. All in all, I’m glad I didn’t give them my business. Totally lacking in customer service and just plain human kindness. Their office, garage and lot are a total HOLE as well. Pass, pass, pass.

I dont know if they are mechanically competent but the customer service is terrible. We walked in with a highly urgent problem and without any care, the guy at the office told us they couldnt help us until 5 days later. He proceeded to say they had several cars and we were not more important than anyone else already in line. Wish they would have at least shown some concern!

Need two cars worked on and couldnt find a place in Charlotte that we wanted to try. Thankfully we stumbled on H&H. Cant say enough how great this place is. Very honest and open with us - any questions we had, they had an answer and walked us through the steps. Reasonably priced and were able to give recommendations to use to save us money down the road. Totally understanding of our weird situation where we needed major repair / estimates on two separate vehicles - were super accommodating with the whole ordeal. Really good bunch of guys that I trusted on a first time visit. Would 100% go back here for routine and major maintenance. Dan and the guys are running a great shop off S. Blvd.

I did not receive service at H and H but after experiencing poor customer service on behalf of Dean Mandrapilias through email Im glad I didnt give my hard earned money to H&H. I understand we all have bad days at the office but its not okay to take it out on a potential customer or even existing its just not right. I contacted Dean through a very good friend that had some work done to his car there and he specifically said Dean is awesome he will take care of you At first Dean was he quoted me on some work that I was inquiring about and got back to me in a timely manner, I then proceeded to ask if he could quote me on a oil change and all hell broke loose. First I emailed Dean at 3:00 pm afternoon time he responded at almost midnight that day stating he couldnt waste his time doing oil change quotes and that it was almost midnight and he was still at the office and if I wanted service to call and schedule it. So I understand oil change quote really? Well in my defense oil change on my car can range from $180 - $260 in Charlotte area alone so you can see why I requested a quote. I was doing what any consumer does shop around and make sure your not getting dragged around. Im not going to title drop or anything but I am very mechanically inclined and do almost all my work on my cars anyway but I just didnt have the time to perform this task at the time. Dean made it real easy for me to just say screw it! I ordered the parts online next day did my own damn oil change and will not be contacting Dean or H&H ever due to there poor customer service. Like I said before I get it we all have bad days at the office but dont lash out on your customers its not professional and you could at least respond in an email when you have realized your mistake.

I have used H and H for my auto inspections for the last 10 plus years. No issues as I usually call for an appointment or drop off. The parking lot is always full but you can park next door at the Mattress store and walk over.
