Our vehicle had been parked for a month and a critter got to the gas line. We were trying to get home to Michigan. Nickoles Automative was quite simply amazing in diagnosing and fixing the issue. Very professional and accommodating. Highly recommend. They definitely went above and beyond! We are so grateful and very blessed!

I work for one of the places that delivers parts to this shop several times a day. Its obvious between the types of vehicles I see on their lot in rotation for repair and the amount of business we receive frequently that they are well known and highly respected for their work. Another thing I noticed is their hospitality on the strength of owning a business as well as their individual kindness. I believe any customer that requires their service has made a solid move.

They were very honest, I told them to do what ever they needed to the brakes. Ends up I didn’t even need brakes. They could have easily charged me $700 plus dollars. Nope, tire rotation and oil change and I’m good to go!!! Thank you for your honesty!!!!

I had the pleasure of finding Mr. Nickoles and his staff when my car developed an urgent problem at the intersection near this repair shop. I cant express how wonderful Mr. Nickoles was for me. He repaired my broken belt and had me on my way in less than an hour and half from when it happened. Caring, dependable, life-savers at an affordable price!

Had an apt to get estimate to replace break line on my 09 Range Rover. Bobby was very detailed and gave me estimate and promise me a discount when come for the repair.

Very honest and knowledgeable mechanics. I had taken my car to Firestone to fix my right headlight. They put in a new bulb but it didnt work. So they recommended electrical diagnosis for $48 which I declined. Then I took my car to Nickoles and he found that the bulb put in by Firestone was not the right one for my car. He put in a different bulb and it worked fine. Also, my splash pan had broken and he fixed that too. In the end he only charged $10 for the new bulb! Obviously I tipped for his work. Very reasonable prices and very fast service. Firestone charged me $29 for labor to replace a bulb! and $14 for the bulb. On top of that they wanted $48 for electrical diagnosis and if I had agreed dont know how much they would have charged to fix the problem.

Excellent first time experience there. I went to get my brakes and rotors replaced, and an oil change. it was done very quickly even without an appointment. They were very generous on the price, as I was also offered a discount based on the estimate/final price. If they offer a service i need covered, Im going to them over anywhere else.

They over charged me and called me back saying they weren’t sure to call or not because they wrote the estimate wrong. Only to offer me free labor instead of my money back. Bobby nickoles will give you free work or discounted prices if you complain enough. They will try and talk your ear off if you don’t agree.

I’ve been taking my car to Bobby for the last 8 years on and off, I’ve recommended friends and family and all have been thankful for the referral, service and prices have been great. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They strive to do the best work and don’t add uneccesary cost to your repair.

My 2007 Lexus GS350 engine was blown by still no definite reason, but these things happen with machines (right). Faced with the decision of salvage my 10 year old, paid off vehicle (best salvage offer of $1500) or get it repaired, a mechanic that works only on Mercedes Benz and BMWs recommended Nickoles. My experience was awesome. The quote was in range of what I wanted to pay. They found an engine for my vehicle and within 3 business days I was back behind the steering wheel. If your vehicle is in need of repairs ... check them out!

Theyve always done great work at a great price for me and my civic.When I moved here back in August of 2016 this was one of the first places I came to. I was skeptical pulling up my first time, but the work they do is stellar.Ive gotten my timing belt, water pump, and head gasket all replaced here. Ive come in for estimates on multiple other things and theyve always given me a fair price. In fact, 99% of the time their price is much much lower than anything else in the Charlotte area. Ill be a customer for a while, for sure.

Love this place took my Mitsubishi Lancer there for a engine swap with 190,000 miles on it not only did they change my motor they also cleaned my transmission fluid no additional cost my car is at 250,000 miles and no problem yet I been recommending people here for about 5years always straight forward people taking my ford there next for transmission work n I’m sure it will be done great

My first impression this place is pretty messy and difficult to find. There is no real parking space. But inside workshop you will see very organized professionals. They done serious repair of my Honda CRV quickly and with reasonable price. They do not have website so you have to call in order to schedule appointment. I definitely would back again for any cars problem and i would highly recommend that company.

Had to make a trip from nc back to sc and had a worn brake pad on the right wheel grinding against metal pretty much and then brake fluid practically pouring from the hose due to the caliber locking up. Checked out a few other places but no help til these guys. They got me checked out coming in to see the damage and an estimate. They really saved me and got the parts and work done in the same afternoon to get me back on the rd. They do care about the work they do and will work with you to get you back on rd safely and at an affordable rate, truly worth it. Im new to Charlotte and that kind of service and quality definitely makes them my go to for any work to my car. Theyre worth it people!!!🤘

Ive been using these guys for a couple of years. A different place told me I needed a bunch of major service and I just didnt feel like it was true so I decided to try this place and get a second opinion. Boy am I glad I did! I didnt need any major work as it turned out. Since then, Ive had many oil changes, belts replaced and a clutch replaced. My husband had a new engine put in his truck and also many oil changes. I definitely recommend this garage for all work, large and small. Weve been super happy with both the service and repair costs.

Doesnt do honest work. RIP OFF update: owners wife is mouthy and rude cause I called them out. Made a fb review and they sent their daughter to threaten and talk smack to me. These people are a joke!

Customer service was great and they are quite professional

We were traveling from Florida to new York when a brake caliper froze up. Seth got us in without any appointment, did a great job on the repairs had us back on the road within 2 hours & charged less than my regular mechanic at home. Very pleased with this shop!

Had them repair my breaks twice I needed a new caliper that had froze and new brake pads. After I left the first time a few weeks later my emergency brake kept getting stuck in engage ( the caliper and emergency brake work together as one in my civic) I took it back and they told me it was a faulty caliper and replaced it for free which I appreciated but not even three weeks later its doing the same thing!! I refuse to take it back here and would highly advise anyone who is having car issues to find someone else to work on your car.

Ive gotten my brakes, distributor, and right side axle done here. Theyre always super nice and have very reasonable prices. I would recommend them to anyone.

They are honest, straight-forward and friendly. They do not overcharge or mislead you on the work that needs to be done. They work to complete the job and fix the problem until it is resolved. Since moving to Charlotte a year and a half ago, Ive only taken my vehicle to their shop--even after a recent move across town.The only downsides to the service are typically unavoidable: car taking longer than expected to be serviced (ie/ turned out to be a bigger problem or the parts were unavailable at time of servicing).

My daughter goes to school and lives in Charlotte so when she called and told me her brakes were making very loud noise I was worried because I do not know anyone in the Charlotte area to fix her car and I live 3.5 hours away. Ive been in the car business for 25 years and know there are many people in the business that give the car business a bad name either on the slaes side or the service side. She took the car to National Tire since it was the closest place she found. Well they looked at the car and told her she needed a complete brake job and it will cost $1100. I called and they said yes it needs it and thats the cost. Being in the business although the sales side I knew that price was outrageous. I told them not to touch the car and immediatley went online to research. I found Nikoles and saw all the great reviews. It was Sunday so they were closed but I went on Facebook and sent a message just so they would see it and hopefully get back to me Monday .Well within ten minutes I got a message from them.They said they would definitely be cheaper.I had the car towed to them Sunday and by Monday morning it was fixed and ready to go for over $700 less!!! It is so nice to know that there are still honest reliable shops to take your car to. Its easy to see why they are successful. As long as my daughter is in the Charlotte area Nikoles will be the ONLY place she takes her car to they are top notch !
