I had my hair cut and colored by Keegan and she did an amazing job! I’d never dyed my hair before so I was a bit nervous but she gave me lots of good tips for taking care of my hair and was very thorough in the hair dye process. All of the workers here are super friendly and make their clients feel comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

I’ve been here twice now for a short hair cut and both times I’ve left very satisfied with my haircut and my overall experience. My first time here I had Stephanie as my stylist and she was great. Gave me the haircut I was wanting and we had a great conversation. Yesterday was my second time and I had Dean as my stylist who once again slayed!!! Not only did they give me an awesome haircut but the overall experience was top tier for professionalism and customer satisfaction.I really appreciate how this company as a whole is so welcoming to its clients and their stylists. Thank you Bishops for being a company that’s not afraid to support and love people for whom they are! I hope more companies some day have the same good vibes you all have in your salons. Read so many good reviews of this place and decided to give it a try. Stormy gave me a haircut and I asked for bangs but she cut length of my bangs so short that I didn’t like it. She tried to fix it but still I wasn’t happy as once the length is short there nothing I can do about it. In my past experience with other salon, they ask you how much length of bangs would you like. Anyways I won’t be going again and won’t recommend this for my friends. Also ended up with so many hairs on my dress. She didn’t brush it off. Very very bad experience.

I met with Stormy to discuss what my hair inspiration was (strawberry blonde pink) and she was incredibly conscientious and detailed. She asked me several questions to ensure we were on the same page and she also asked me if I was tender-headed. This is an extremely important thing to know so hairdressers wont burn your scalp. She explained the process of how the bleaching, toning, and coloring works and also suggested a before treatment to ensure the color came through perfectly. The final result is a soft peachy pink that I absolutely adore! Stormy is a spectacular hairstylist and I highly recommend setting up a booking here!❤🧡💛💚💙💜

I followed Stormy to this salon because I dont trust anyone else with my hair at this point. Stormy is also professional and clear with helping me manage my expectations about my hair (its gone through a lot) and got me from a short, box-dye ruined pixie to long healthy hair in time for my wedding. The salon is always clean and I have so appreciated their dedication to safety during the pandemic.

I just moved to North Carolina, was nervous about going to a new salon, (due to some bad experiences), but let me tell you- Nick Cash nailed it! Love, love, love the highlights & haircut he gave me! I went in for a basic all over color and a trim. The color and trim itself was totally fine. What wasn’t fine is what I attached in these pictures. I get that hair color can get a little messy but really? I brushed it off when I was in the salon because I thought oh well when I do semi permanents at home alcohol always takes it off! NOPE. I have used windex, mouthwash, alcohol, facial toner, pretty much everything under the sun and it’s only mildly better, still not gone. I have rubbed my neck completely raw if there’s a little on my ears or around my hairline that’s fine, but why all on my neck? Again, I gave her the benefit of the doubt after she apologized for how bad the stains were (without really even trying to get them off with anything besides a damp rag) I just assumed some rubbing alcohol would be fine. Sally beauty sells something that’s supposed to take off hair color from skin but it’s closed and I work in the morning before I can get to Sallys. So now I have to go to work like this. I usually love this place too. I’ve even been to not one but THREE of their locations extensively. but MAN, never again. My skin is burning from all the chemicals I had to use to get it off. Thanks Bishops for my flaming skin:))update: I feel so mean for being so rude but guys, I’m freaking out and my skin is burning so ://

They did a traditional short men’s haircut for my husband, a trim on long wavy hair for the BFF, and a blunt cut and color for my daughter! They went above and beyond to meet our diverse demands! Solice is the best! Shes super friendly and good at listening to what you want or need. She was able to cut my hair to compliment my curl patterns, and used products that were natural and good for my curls! My hair has been super soft, shiny, and feeling healthy for the past few day since I saw her! Highly recommended 😊

Love love LOVE the color Callie did on my hair, so vibrant and beautiful and the the color blend is amazing. The whole service took about 6 hours and I was very sleepy due to a bad sleep schedule but Callie made it fun all the way through, very fun personality and easy to talk to. Will be going for color renewal or new color in the future!

I haven’t been to a salon in the past 2 years because I am scared of going to a place were they wouldn’t get my style right so I usually go to my comfort salon back in Italy and then the pandemic hit.I went to Bishop today and they were AMAZING! Safe precautions, pleasant stuff and most of all Dean is a magician!He did such a great job and was so nice the whole time although I shedded my body weight in hair!I would 100% recommend them and I can now ditch my comfort salon because this is my new to go salon now!

I just needed to share that Casey Haynes at Bishops Haircuts is an AMAZING stylist! She is experienced, confident, and skilled, and obviously loves what she does. Its not often someone starts dancing while cutting your hair, but, even with the mask on, you could tell she was smiling and having a good time. Just got my hair cut and colored by Stormy! What a great service! I was very impressed. She took her time on my consultation while we mapped out our plan, and had no trouble adding a gloss mid-service. The color which was just a Demi-permanent to cover my grays was just the right cool tone of black to complement my skin tone, and somehow she managed to bring my curls back to life while leaving me enough to still pull it back in a ponytail for work. I even loved the bangs, which we bravely decided to do deep and narrow and cornered out to frame my eyes perfectly! Im going back in 4 weeks for some balayage, and looking forward to it. :)

I’ve been going to Bishops but just started seeing Solice and absolutely loved her! I have very coarse 3b hair and she did a great job cutting, layering, and styling my hair. Absolutely will be seeing her again!

The team was very friendly, but my hair did not come out at all like I asked. I have brown hair and was getting it bleached and dyed purple. I understand that it can take a long time for this process, and I spent my entire day here.However, by the end, I could tell they were getting impatient and they didn’t finish lightening it to the color that it needed to be. The end product made my hair look purple at the top, and black near the bottoms (because the bottom parts of my hair were only lightened to a red color). Also, the right side of my hair was not as lightened as the left side, so the right side looks different from the left.After a few days, the color has faded and my hair now looks like a light purple for the top half, the bottom half looks brown/gray, and the right side has lots of streaks of brown/gray amidst some purple.I understand the process was taking a very long time, but I wish they had communicated with me better. Such as letting me know that my hair would likely not turn out completely even if they put the purple over the way my hair had lightened. If they had told me they felt better scheduling a second appointment for another lightening treatment I would have been more than happy to come back and pay extra if I had to.I have bleached and dyed my hair personally many times over the years and never had it come out completely even. I came to this shop to get my hair professionally done so it would finally turn out the way I wanted it to. I feel like I could have done a job as good as they did with my hair :(

I got my hair done here for the first time and had the most wonderful experience! Nick is such an awesome stylist. He sat me down in the chair to ask about exactly what I wanted. Then, I got my hair washed and a deep conditioning treatment that was customized to my specific hair needs. Then, it came to the cut and style and it came out amazing! Nick was kind, friendly, and very knowledgeable on hair cutting, styling, and treatment. The all around vibe of the salon is also so warm and welcoming to all. I will 100% be back here.

I booked an appointment with Rachel and absolutely LOVE what she did to my hair! I went in for a simple cut and color and left with two inches off, layers, and jet black hair that has gotten me compliment after compliment. I love it SO much and can’t stop looking at myself (lol). Absolutely in love with my hair! I have dark brown/black hair and have always wanted it red. Well during quarantine (without much supervision lol) I decided to do just that. It definitely did not come out the way I wanted when I did it so I looked at Salons online that way I could get it professionally done without further damaging it myself at home. I came across bishops and immediately just went with it and booked my appointment a few days later. Dean did a PHENOMENAL job on my hair. It came out exactly how I wanted and I could not be more happy with how it turned out. He really gave me my confidence back and was so nice! He is very talented and I will definitely be coming back! Worst man haircut you can get for 40 bucks. It’s an absolutely nightmare.. we moved to Charlotte and my husband still looking for good master and here he got worst haircut ever, worst than in great clips which is, nota bene, twice cheaper.I am not sure about level of service here but it doesn’t matter if you have fix haircut at home. Staff were friendly, Salon was clean. Products are very good, Nick was super nice. However at first I put 5 stars because they tell you if you want 20% off of products give us good review..I was very easy going at first.. I spent almost 6 hours there with highlights on my hair, Nick applied some kind of toner with purple shampoo it made my hair super dark at first he said after first wash you will see the difference. Well first wash I almost cried when I looked at the mirror it was very bad it was strikes of gray hair and purple hair, I gave myself another wash just in case maybe it will get better.. second wash I’m looking like a 90 year old lady with gray hair just from the roots then brown at the bottom. Of course I will not go again to fix it since highlights were on my hair for 6 hours! My hair will literally fall off. I spent a good amount of money thinking my hair will look good even tho they said my hair is long and it costs more money BUT my hair is short but I stayed nice about it. I’m very disappointed. I don’t know what color my hair is now ..I asked for blonde highlights, left the salon with dark brown and now gray hair just from the roots........

Not only is the service incredible, and trustworthy with experienced stylists (artists) with years under their belts, but the customer service and care in amazing and welcoming, open and loving. I went to visit Bishops for the first time today after seeing some of the stylists’ work on Instagram. It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end and I am so happy that I found this salon. Dean was my stylist and he did an amazing job cutting my hair and made sure I looked great. He took great care to trim and razor my pixie cut into an awesome mohawk, and walked me through how I can style it. He was so kind and I really enjoyed my time with him; he immediately felt like a friend and I was able to feel genuinely comfortable in his chair. I will absolutely be a client for life!

I’m mixed, so I’m always wary when trying new hair stylists because it’s not uncommon for a haircut to come out a complete mess on their first try. That was certainly not the case here. Casey did a fantastic job.

I have been looking for a place to consistently get my hair cut regularly and I think I found it with Bishops! I came in for the first time and had Kristi. With all the concerns around COVID, I felt completely safe and the attention to detail in keeping staff and patrons safe was clear. My hair is extremely simple to cut and Ive been very frustrated by other salons charging close to $100 for 30ish minutes of work. The pricing at Bishops was more than fair and they are more than capable of handling complex requests too!

I went to get a haircut and the lady who did my hair was really nice. I wasnt sure if I wanted to get a cut cut or just a trim so she just started off with half an inch and so worth. I decided to get it actually cut up to my shoulders as a bob but still be able to tie my hair up and I asked her to layer my hair just a tiny bit. It looked fine when she was done with it at the salon, but when I actually got home the layering was really badly done. It was really choppy and when I came into work the next day my coworker even said that it looked really bad and that I should never get it cut at the same place ever again.

Reasonably priced, clean, cool vibe & nothing but great service at this new hair salon. Great for men and women and it’s in a convenient location with plenty of parking in back. Staff is wonderful and Kristen is excellent with color and styling. She takes care of all the details and involves you in the process. Very pleased! Five stars!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I just had the best haircut experience at Bishops Midtown. I typically am pretty easy going with where I get haircuts but most of the time just tolerate the job they do. I havent found my go-to place for getting my hair cut. I think today changes that. Getting an appointment through their website was super-easy. I got an appointment with Teri and she was fantastic. Out of the gates, the offered a beer, water, etc. which was really cool. Then, Teri made sure to clarify all my vague hair requests since I wasnt great at articulating what I wanted. She was super laid back and really fun to chat with. Most important of all she gave me a killer haircut and the straight-razor at the end was just icing on the cake. I will definitely be back and appreciate having a cool place, with talented folks that are super nice for my hair cut. Thank you!
