I brought a few chef’s knives here for sharpening for the first time today. They hadn’t been sharpened in years, but when I got them back, they were at least as sharp as they were when they were factory new, and maybe even sharper than that! Great service, super sharp knives, and pretty fast! Took a little over a half hour for 3 santoku knives (not sharpened in the Japanese style), two of which had not been sharpened for many years. Just be aware that the workshop is within the gentlemans house - I missed it the first time down the street because I wasnt sure what I was looking for.

I made a last minute appointment to take my kitchen knives by today. The results are much better than any other shop I’ve taken my knives to in Charlotte! I had a set of Wusthof kitchen knives that were in VERY poor shape and Saabr did a fabulous job.. truly a professional. Turnaround time was less than 3 hours. I wont wait so long next time. Nothing better that a sharp knife (and nothing worse than a DULL knife)
