This place is amazing! They buy used books and games for cash or a store credit. The offer in cash was nice and they double the price for store credit. You have to check out this store!!

If you are a book geek a vinyl geek a dungeons and dragons person or literally anything thats related to literature or music. This is the place for you. They have used books they have mystery books that describe what kind of book it is without telling you what it is and I had a really good pic of the borrowers Its a blind date with a book its called. Everybody there is very friendly but not to the point of being on top of you all the time. The prices are great the merch is wonderful and I spent 2 hours in this place I covered very little of the store. Oh they even have second-hand childrens books which are great.

The store itself is amazing, but they’ll give you pennies for crates of books and vinyls. I understand I’m not going to get what things are worth, but that was ridiculous! I know they’re going to turn around and sell it for MORE than what it’s worth too. Also, the “they/them” woman that works in the selling/pricing part or whatever is obnoxiously rude. Don’t smirk at me because I was pathetically desperate for money and your workplace was giving me $15 for vinyls, a record player, and exactly 53 books. I won’t ever come back here, not even to shop.

⭐⭐⭐⭐This is a very impressive store! I went in for the vinyl records and they had a decent selection of nee and used mixed together. I do wish they carried more heavy metal, but I still found two albums that are difficult to find. Be sure to flip through all of the records because many are misplaced. This is a great place to find a quick gift!

The employees are great, loads and loads of books, decent vinyl and manga selection. Minus two stars because they seriously low balled me on a used digital piano. Offered me less than half of what I sold it for at another store that same day, and I sold it for quite a bit less than street value.

Lost a longtime customer today. Very unfriendly and rude staff member. One day they will realize customers pay their wages. Maybe thats why there were only 4 people in the store. My money can be spent elsewhere.

Some staff could be more helpful and welcoming. But still my favorite place to go!!

This is a good place to trade in dvds, boons, comics, that you dont watch or read anymore and perhaps find a different format. *I would look around first as they only keep a few of the titles on the shelf. Selection is good too....depending on what youre looking for. * If you do trade in, keep the store credit as youll get further that way.

The store was nothing like I thought itd be. Its a massive new and used bookstore with pop media items, comic books, manga, action figures new and used, t-shirts, new and used video games, dvds, cds, records, guitars, and more. Aimed for teens and geeks around. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Youll be in sensory overload- watch out!

I love this place. They offer great trade in value and theres lots of retro gaming stuff that I cant find anywhere else.

This one is better than the other location in terms of diversity of books written by black authors but it still sucks!

Theres a lot of variety here, and the store itself is very nice. I do not like the layout though. The used books are mixed in with the new, so I cannot find used books, which is what im looking for.

This place is nerd heaven! Whatever you need they have! Old school consoles ✅, anythingD&D ✅, comics ✅, collectables ✅ books ✅ stuff that doesnt exist on this universe... Maybe lol

I went to second and Charles the other day to check out all the awesome things in there and I met a couple of great people Zindy and Jon. both of these awesome guys were extremely helpful, passionate about what they do, and just some super cool people at a super cool place but Im definitely coming back to. One of the best used stores I have been to, and I am a book nerd! I spent two hours here, and didnt come close to seeing everything I wanted to. I will be back! I did buy about 12 books, some bookmarks and pens, and spent $70. Not bad at all!

Love this place! Books, movies, comics, games! Almost impossible not to walk out with an armload of stuff. I dont live near one, but anytime I drive through a city that does I always stop in.

Super fun store with anything your nerd heart could want. Little groupings of like items, Edgar Allen Poe, Stephen King, Harry Potter, etc. Used guitars line the wall for purchase. Love this store!

This place is really fun to visit. Great books, movies, video games, board games, records, and more. This is also a great place for novelty gifts for the Harry Potter, Star Wars, Game of Thrones, or any other cult following in your life.They have almost any book you could ever look for. The staff is also super knowledgeable and very helpful. Been here a few times and have never regretted my visit. Will definitely return.

Huge selection of almost everything, books, novelties in an enormous variety of subjects, both old and new quality, modern and current genres as well as vintage and old school. They also carry musical instruments, vinyl records and players, as well as CDs, and all the prices are relatively inexpensive or at market rate n slightly above. I will definitely be visiting this store on a regular basis.

Very large 2nd hand shop. I went for books, but they carry tapes, discs, DVDs and more. Not as cheap as Goodwill but still a great value.

Easy to find some used books and video games. Nice selection of items, havent traded anything in over there, but the process looks nice and easy with the staff being helpful.

Love this store so much! Hours and hours worth of used and new book browsing every time. Has so much! Books, games, music, instruments, puzzles, DVDs, trinkets, clothes, manga, RPGs, comics! This was my first visit to the South Blvd location, it was a lot smaller then the Independence location but staff was very friendly and the selection just as good.

This place is Media Play reborn! Very fun store with lots of new and classic pop culture books, toys, video games, clothing, music, movies and television shows on DVD. If you missed Heroes Con, this store will help you hang on until the next one. NERD HEAVEN!

1st time there and super great bookstore feel! LOTS of items to choose from!

This store has the most unique stuff, but even better than the store is the staff. Zindy specifially. My son had a medical emergency in the bathroom there and I called the store to have someone be with him. Zindy took the bull by the horns and called 911 while on the phone and stayed on the phone with me through the medics getting there and until they got him stable. I cant tell you how much that means for her to have been a mothers eyes and ears when her son was in a dire situation. Zindy is a God send and thank God she was working that day. Now i know why this is my 20 year old sons favorite store!

This is a great place to buy and sell books and more. Other places offer more money for books, but this is the largest one I have been to.

Great experience have visited this store but never purchased anything. Until cleaning my storage unit and found 100+ Xbox games 10+ years old and took them in the process was very quick and easy with the help of Alex she was great super nice and had a great attitude. Received a decent amount for the games that was dropped off brought in a box load full and left with only 25% worth definitely a success. Give this girl a raise she’s great !!! Will be coming back for Christmas shopping

To tell you that I have to give you guys the two star is heartbreaking cuz I love you guys but the fact is I went in there to look at some video games the game Spyro trilogy was going for $40 when it cost twenty-five brand-new at Walmart I seen a bunch of games that are actually cheaper at at GameStop its really a shame because you guys are great but you guys are inflating your priceses way too much like the new tomb Raider game you guys have their use almost $30 when its worth $20 at GameStop used,yall need to check your Prices (I have included a photo of proof)

Thus store is geek heaven. Has really old games, collectibles, books and comics aswell as new. And they have more to choose from than hot topic spencers and gamestop combined. And they are way cheaoer than those other places i just mention. I wish they had a store in Miami where Im from.

OMG! SUCH A COOL A$$ STORE!! I just googled comic book store near me and this store was .4 miles away and had great reviews. It was nothing like I was expecting (small comic book store and thats it). It was a really big store! And not JUST comic books!! They had many comic books, books, RECORDS!, t- shirts, games,..... whoa.. Needless to say, I saved it as one of my favorites in Google maps and I plan to be back. :) Unfortunately, the only pictures I have are these. Haha

Always a great and helpful staff as well as clean location, clean bathrooms. There are so many books, CDs, vinyls, nerdy collectables, instruments!!! You could easily spend HOURS here just looking, and just as easily leave with armfulls of stuff you didnt even know you needed 😆. Great prices and really unique and interesting books! They also always have a free book bin! Fair warning- I never manage to leave empty-handed, even when thats my intention.

What a great surprise!!! I debated whether to go into this store or not. So glad I did. It like an old record store with a bookstore and a unique gift shop all under one roof. I could spend hours and hundreds of dollars in this store. They have the coolest books, movies, and collectibles and friendly staff who dont mind if you browse for awhile. I have not tried to trade in there yet, but their prices are great and every time I go I find something new and interesting!

Staff were very helpful. They have a ton of books. 10,000’s. Why order online or new books? I seem to find every book I need there. I highly recommend it.
