Beautiful venue, with an extensive list of items they sell. Staff is super friendly as well. Want to rate this one higher, but the prices at the butcher counter are just a little too high. Prices are not much lower than going out to eat at a top-tier restaurant. On the flip side however, the daily specials at the wine bar are a great deal!

This place is great! Definitely returning soon and highly recommend. Went there with my husband on a whim, split the meatballs and sliders for a snack. Was so good! Hanna and Brenda were awesome!(:

Ive already visited this place three times since they recently opened. The food, wine and service are consistently amazing every single time, regardless of what day of the week you go there! I highly recommend this place!

I tried three different prepared foods. Only one was acceptable. Beef stroganoff had four chunks of meat on top of noodles sprinkled with parsley. There was no sauce or gravy or taste. Definitely not beef stroganoff. The other thing I tried was the broccoli casserole. Basically tasted like frozen broccoli with either old English or velvetta cheese and a few bread crumbs. I would not buy either one again. However, the bacon and cheese mashed potatoes were very tasty.

This Butchery and Wine Bar was absolutely amazing. Im so happy I stumbled into this little place.The fresh meat cooked in front of you to a variety of wine selections you can purchase by the bottle or by the cup was amazing. The food was filled with flavor and with responsible pricing.The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. If youre near the area dont forget to stop by for a nice dinner alone or with a significant.

I dont even know where to start. So this was our first time. We walked in... confused. One of the associates probably saw it on our faces and she gave us a full run down of the place with a smile. We decided to sit on the patio. It was perfect. We came inside selected our choice meat. I got the salmon and my honey got the bone in Ribeye. We ate like royalty! Service, food, furniture, ambience... everything was perfect! If you havent gone yet... drop all that youre doing, work, kids, cutting grass, putting out fires...STOP ALL THINGS AND HEAD OVER RIGHT NOW! LolSorry for yelling and thank me later! 🥰

Enjoyed my first ever steak flight today. Great little restaurant and butcher shop. Lots of high quality meats, frozen prepared foods and specialty items like homemade dog treats. Cant wait to go back for the butcher counter for a special event! Great selection of wines at very reasonable prices. Everyone was amazing ly friendly and helpful.

I recently discovered this gem! Wow- the meats, fish and prepared foods are amazing. I highly suggest trying their Bacon and Smoked Gouda Mac and Cheese- wow! The marinated chicken wings are delicious and try the Vidalia Onion marinated chicken. So good! The kitchen is open, so you can see items being prepared there. Its always clean and the staff are friendly and professional. They have a small but well thought out wine selection as well. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would :-)

This is the best butcher shop in Charlotte hands down. The place is beautiful with a great friendly feel. The meat counter is incredible with a great selection to choose from at very reasonable prices. Not only carved meat but smoked and prepared items ready to cook. They also have an awesome selection of wine you can purchase. Had the sliders for lunch and they were incredible. Cant wait wait to come back and try some other foods on the outdoor seating area.

This has to be a hidden gem! Came here on lunch yesterday for a quick bite! Everything was amazing! My coworkers and I had no complaints. Establishment was super clean! Nice vibe and friendly staff.

I went to the bar at lunchtime and ate there for the first time. I got the sliders with a side of truffle fries. They were all excellent! The service was wonderful too. It has a really nice, clean atmosphere there. Five stars.

I went in looking for a really good steak for my husband since I don’t eat meat. I asked for advice and Brian and his staff helped me pick the perfect Prime Angus. My husband grilled it and said that it was fantastic. The store is meticulously clean and they offer great sides too. Will be visiting there again soon!

This place is fantastic and the food was delicious. They have seating in back and a bar so you can order and eat there. The bar staff is outstanding and made some great recommendations. The butcher shop is up front so the meat was incredibly delicious. Usually, I hate networking meatballs because they’re usually dry and can bounce like a ball. The meatballs were moist and very flavorful. It’s also a great place to drop in and just sit at the bar and have a great glass of wine.

I visited the Dilworth location with 2 friends yesterday and had a great experience. The staff was friendly and the back patio was comfortable. The sliders and smoked wings were absolutely phenomenal; arguably the best wings I’ve come across in Charlotte. My only regret was not saving room for dessert. We’ll 100% be back soon.

I never had a bad experience here and im not exactly clean cut or white.You even said so your self, other AA people already there eating. Did they give you dirty looks too?This place is must for any one looking to do some quality grilling. If you have a special occasion this is the place to get your steaks.If they could improve on 1 thing it would be the points system, bring it back i love earning rewards.

Broad selection of prepared frozen foods to take and bake at home, meats and fish. The bar vibe is nice: wines by the glass, four beers on draft, craft beer by the can/bottle, some small plates and some large plates. We had the sausage of the day (today, a spicy Italian sausage) and the truffle fries. The portion sizes are more generous than the menu descriptions indicate and the quality was very good. Brian took very good care of us - we had the carrot cake and it was great.Two VERY minor nits, neither which would prevent me from going back but that I hope they will address as time goes on since they just opened... The tap system seems to have some issues - the bar tender was having some trouble with foam/carb (not her fault). The bar counter doesn’t project as far as it should to allow for comfortably eating at the bar without knees hitting the wall of the bar.

Firstly customer service was everything, secondly the food was as good as it looks. Tender, flavorful and fresh. Last but not least the price wasn’t bad at all. Two ppl ate from this and we still couldn’t eat it all. I give this place 5 ⭐️

My wife and I spent Saturday night for our Anniversary, and can not put into words how pleased we were with the entire experience. We have gotten steaks from the butcher side once before but have never dined in or tried anything else. From the moment we sat down our bartenders Beth & Stephany walked us through the wine list and gave us some options and provided a sample for my wife. Once we ordered our wine they walked us through the menu and explained some options for us. We took a look at the variety of cuts and noticed that they had recently smoked some short ribs. While talking with Jack behind the counter he explained that even though its not listed on the menu as an option he would work it out. Will chatting with Jack he went over some of the packages you all had and we also ended up ordering The Broadway package to take home as well. We continued to follow Beth & Stephanys recommendations based on the wine that they recommended outside of ordering the short ribs. The steak flight and scallops were some of the best my wife has had in awhile. After wrapping up dinner we ordered another bottle of wine and I proceeded to pick out 6 sides to take home to pair with the meat we just got. While tabbing out Donnie Wilson stopped by to see how we enjoyed our meal and we expressed how happy and pleased we were with the entire evening.This will be our new go to place for date night, and can not stop telling our friends about it. You can have great food and drinks but it truly is the people who will leave the biggest mark on someones experience and my wife and I will be back to try new things because of the team you have working there.

On Saturday March 20, 2021 Me and my sister visited this establishment for the very first time. It was not a good experience. As soon as we walked in customers(white people) gave us a look like we werent suppose to come in there. The look on their faces were like me and my sister couldnt afford the food and wine at your business.. So that seemed a little raccist to us. But there were already two other African American people in there eating. We really dont appreciate the looks that we got from the white customers. So we will not be coming back to your business again. We have also told our family members and our friendsabout the experience we had. So they will no longer come back there either.🤬😡😠🙄😒👎

Just had lunch here, been there a few times. This place is awesome. The counter and pre made foods are on point and the in store food menu is incredible. Best slider in CLT. The steak sandwich is unreal. The Cuban made me question eating anything else ever again. You’re doing yourself a disservice if you don’t check this out.

I grew up in Greenville, SC going to a NY Butcher Shoppe, but this one blows that place out of the water. The dining options alone to be able to take home sides and full family meals is amazing. I love this place.

Fantastic little shop with some quality cuts of all variety. During this pandemic they have been a staple and a great source of resources. Shop is always kept incredibly clean and organized and the staff is very accommodating. Thanks for all the hard work!

Excellent wine selection for drinking there and taking a bottle home. Staff well versed and can help you with choices. Choose a meat from the deli case and the chefs will prepare. Interesting sides to pair with your protein choice. Sslmon is delicious with truffle fries and Brussels sprouts. So are the crab cakes. Friendly helpful staff. This one is definitely on my go back often list.

Awesome spot! We went to the Smoker Saturday’s event and bought short ribs and brisket, and they were both excellent and flavorful. We also picked up pre-made sides of bacon Gouda mac and cheese and loaded mashed potatoes to eat with the meats at home, and they were both delicious! Highly recommend. We intend to go back for more Smoker Saturdays and to try more of the sides and refrigerated offerings!

Had everything I wanted and then some. They are being mindful of COVID social distancing while providing Grade A products with awesome service. Their meats are wonderful. They have numerous side dishes as well as some pastas and dips. They also have a nice selection of wine and what looks like a wine bar.... wasnt able to try this out due to the COVID. Definitely worth checking out whether youre in the area or not.

We have been regular customers of the New York Butcher Shoppe for a few months now, and we cant look back. The cuts of meat are delicious. We get the chicken often and love picking up some salmon and scallops from them. The scallops are unreal. They have great side and vegetable options, and the wine selection is excellent. We members of the wine club and are always really happy with the wine they pick out. Normally they do an event each month as well for members, but due to covid have instead given out a treat with the wine. Last month it was three delicious sausages. Also, they carry deserts (try the brownies, you wont regret it).Also, to give you an idea of the customer service, this past weekend was our anniversary. We each ordered a filet with sides, a bottle of wine, truffle fries, and some scallops. Everything was cooked perfectly and we were super excited. When we arrived home we noticed the scallops were missing. We gave them a call, and they actually drove us the scallops to our home (TALK ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE). We love this place, and are now planning our weekly meals around it!

Just dropped in out of curiosity and got a Philly Steak Sandwich to-go. Wow, this is an amazing sandwich (only half finished). Now Im thinking of how soon I can go back and get something on the way home for dinner. They have meats of all kinds plus many of the sides so you only have to make one stop.

Ordered a great vino Ive never had. My girl and I got a couple ridiculous steaks (ny strip & ribeye) (cooked perfectly) (delish)But the best part of our experience was the bartender Brenda! Excellent service! Will be back soon.

I’ll have to try this place again, nothing New York about it other than the prices IMO. I’m from NY and grew up going to Arthur Ave, and these guys really didn’t impress me. Good cuts of meat, but I’ll stick with the fresh market for now. I’ll have to try it again, but this place, if they’re using the NY name, is mediocre in my opinion.
