As a city boy, I actually enjoy the urban feel of this store with parking in the garage and taking the large elevator up a floor or two to the main entrance. It may be a slight inconvenience for some, but I kind of like it. Its more interesting than shopping at your vanilla suburban strip mall. I feel like Im in a denser city, which I miss at times. Im not a regular shopper of this store, but I tend to pick up a few items when Im in the neighborhood. As with most Publix stores in the Charlotte area, the isles are nice and wide with plenty of room. This is nice since I prefer to shop in stores that dont feel cramped. As with most Publix locations, the employees are very friendly and polite. All in all its a very nice place to shop.

One of my favorite grocery stores. We go here at least once a week to get a fresh sandwich made and eat it in the Cafe area in the store. I also use publix as my pharmacy it makes it easy to grab groceries and pick up a refill at the same time.

Everything was a hot mess. at 1pm on a monday i witnessed two people shoplifting and security detaining a woman in the lobby. the deli took 20 minutes before i could even get my order placed. those elevators are always a huge pain as well. we never enjoy coming here but today was exceptionally awful.**update: arriving home i opened my deli meat which had been shoved into the bag with zero care. the clear wrap wasn’t covering anything. such a joke!

All right. So i placed an order for a extra large fruit bowl. They couldnt find my order. So i had to get bowls off the shelf and. spent more. They only had my order for my yoyos. I even showed the fruit receipt order. But they didnt have it. Kinda bummed but i wasnt going to act up over fruit. But i needed it for a get together.

Publix brings out the big girl in me!! I always go to the bakery, this time I got the Heath cookie and omg! The girl behind the counter suggested heating it up a little and that made it even better. Clean store, friendly and helpful employees and good prices. I can always find Dungeness crab legs here too ♥️♥️

From out of town this is the only place to find my favorite beer!

I love Publix and I especially love the deli (my main reason for shopping there). I am overjoyed when I see Carlos (I believe thats his name) he is the best, attentive, considerate, and very polite. Always a great friendly place to shop. What makes Publix so great is not only the highest quality of foods but also the way you are treated from the time you enter to the time you leave makes grocery shopping a pleasant experience. Publix has my business.

Deli staff could definitely be nicer and more attentive to guests. Just say hello to me, or Ill be with you in a second. Funny how they dont treat my husband that way.Everyone else in the store is especially nice and helpful.

Well stocked, customer friendly. However do not try to go close to closing because they will not let you in. One time in particular they were out of fried chicken and told us it would be a wait. So we decided to wait in the car and when we tried to go back in the store the manager told us no. The bakery is amazing! They are very creative and helpful.

This is definitely one of my favorite Publix locations. It is kept EXTREMELY organized and clean. No matter where you are in the store there is always an associate ready to answer questions or direct you to your desired area. I usually go for the 5$ sushi Wednesdays and it is ALWAYS DELICIOUS!!!!

My name is Andrea some of you might have seen me working here as a cashier. As an Employee that used to work here. I HIGHLY do not recommend working here. If I could give zero stars I would. The Training is nonexistent. You get judged on every little thing you do. If you want to be just a cashier and nothing else this is not the job for you. They will turn you into a janitor in like 3.5 seconds and you do NOT get paid ENOUGH, even if you do have experience. The managers don’t care about what you have to say, they only have each other’s back but that is about it. I saw so many red flags while working here but tried to keep pushing and finally just had to let it go. PUBLIX WHERE WORKING IS NOT A PLEASURE!!!!

Omg!!! I asked for an ombré cake for my bday and Publix did an amazing job!!!!! The colors were great the design was amazing and let’s save the best for last!!!!!! The taste of my white cake, layered with fresh strawberries and topped with buttercream icing 🧁 was a bday gift in itself!!! Thanks Publix!!!!

Publix has a decent selection of organic produce, a pharmacy with nice staff, lots of options for people with gluten/other food issues and friendly helpful workers. Prices are about on par with other supermarkets in the area. Only complaint is their fresh seafood selection is definitely sub par.

Truly appreciate the staff. It is a wonderful place. The staff at this location of Publix has far exceeded the goals and level of customer service that I give for the Charlotte market. I have never been disappointed with Publix anywhere that Ive gone to but I assumed that the Charlotte mentality would permeate this business and it has not extremely thriving business excellent customer service keep up the good work the bakery department is phenomenal I recommended highly as well as the deli counter.

Christy in the bakery always helps me with the Raspberry Danish.She goes out of her way to help me and to make everything great for my kitchen!

Publix always has a great selection of food, but the location on South Blvd is also noteable for having a ton of parking under the store. Which is really helpful when the Charlotte summer storms hit.

My wife and I are here in from Charleston SC for a few days and while in our hotel room we decided to search for our favorite store Publix because we wanted to stock up on a few food items for the fridge. We selected this Publix which was only a few minutes away and once we arrived we had to pull into a parking garage where the Store was located! It was something Ive seen in movies but never experienced first hand. Its a one level garage with the glass store entrance where you get on an elevator and go up one floor where the door opens and there you will see grocery carts and the entrance into the store itself. First thing you see upon walking in is a nice Starbucks coffee store! The store set-up is awesome and of course clean as always. 10 out of 10! Oh, my wife reminded me that you wont get wet when its raining thanks to the garage parking!

It was ok but I was profiled as someone who looks they may wanting to steal something but otherwise its very clean and comfortable

Unfortunately I called to place an order. I was originally told they needed 24hr so I adjusted my time to the next day. I was placed on a very long hold and when the person returned she was rude. She stated they were busy and didn’t have time. She stated even with nearly 30 hrs they could not accept the order for 2 dozen chocolate covered strawberries. It was disappointing because I am used to better quality service from Publix. Also didn’t expect to be hung up on. We were traveling from out of town for our anniversary and I wanted to pick up a nice surprise

DELICIOUS!!!! I bought a Chantilly cake from the 2222 South Blvd, Charlotte, NC Publix bakery. I wanted fresh fruit with cake. They delivered a delicious cake with fresh strawberries and blueberries! YUM!!

For someone who shops here every week and gets subs at least once a week, tonight I was super disappointed. I ordered my favorite chicken tender sub as always and they always make it on time and its so good and hot, tonight the girl made it 15 minutes past when it was time for me to pick it up, I had to say something because nobody was paying attention to my order (it was not busy in the store) and the sub even though toasted, is cold..I still like this location, just disappointed tonight.

This establishment has the BEST, most thoughtful and courteous management. It was mothers day and they helped me resolve something that went slightly weird with an order I placed.. And let me tell you, I have never experienced such great customer service before in my LIFE! I wish I had gotten their names, one of the store managers had pretty curly hair and the other manager had nice blonde hair. They were so wonderful that I am now exclusively going to be buying most all of my groceries from here from now on! You are rockstars!

Im not sure what is going on with the South Blvd location but it is slipping fast. I have been shopping here since I moved to the area. Its not the cheapest by any means but their customer service as made up for it. I used their online service last week and the produce selections were not worth eating. I choose to go back to shopping in store this evening. That may have been my last time there. I stood within a couple feet of a stocker in the produce without being greeted. The final straw was when I went to the checkout, there was only one register open with no bagger. After waiting in line for nearly 10 minutes. I got out of line and left my cart with a lady who was just talking to a male coworker. If I wanted to be ignored like that I would go to Walmart or Aldis where I would at least invest lest money.

For out-of-towners who normally shop Publix on a regular, this one served up very well. We ordered a 2-tier birthday cake 🎂 for my wifes 60th celebration in Charlotte as we loved Publix cakes back in Georgia and they came through big-time! Plus all our grocery shopping was done there. Thanks, Pub.

Jon in the deli made me fresh fried chicken when they had run out. It was so delicious. It took about 25 minutes but it was absolutely worth the wait. He truly went above and beyond and he just makes killer chicken! Thank you, Jon. Also this Publix is in a great area. It’s filled with so many goodies. Charlotte overall has some of the best Publix locations on the east coast.

Im really getting sick of this store it is always out of majority of what Im looking for. The shelves are always bare it seems like no one ever takes the time to actually stock the shelves or fully stock the shelves.

Most of the staff here is nice and helpful, but there are also a few that are horrible to deal with (leaving this review are multiple interactions / observations of how they treat customers poorly). Nicer Publix off Randolph Road with less traffic and headache.

I have been to Publix many times, and I have never had a lack luster experience. Everything is an A+. Parking, product display and customer service are above average when compared to other grocery stores.

I always go for there for the honey maple turkey with Swiss on mountain bread. And this time when I went I was very disappointed with the service and didn’t get my sandwich. Won’t be back to this location

Absolutely love this store. Nice and bright isles, clean and organized shelves. Items are easy to find. Staff is friendly and will assist in locating items. Wonderful fresh fish and butchers market. Bakery is to die for. Fresh breads and wonderful baked pastries, cakes. The deli has a variety of choices to choose from. The cheese, beer and wine selection oh my so many choices. Plus fresh made Sushi. The general isles and pharmacy are well stocked. This is my favorite go to store.

I messed up BIG time. I placed a catering order thinking that I had made the pick-up for today (2/4) but I actually made the pick-up time for the following day.I was running late so I called to let them know I would be there soon and I immediately got a call back and the woman on the phone politely let me know that I had placed the order for tomorrow pick-up. I was so mad at myself and asked if there was anyway they could make the order for me. She asked to put me on a brief hold and I fully expected them to be too busy and I would have totally understood. BUT she came back and told me to give them an hour and they could do it.I can not thank Daria and the rest of the deli team enough for correcting MY mistake. It would have been so much easier for them to say no. Give this team a raise, seriously. They made me a customer for life.

They need someone quickly when you want wine and Champaign I had to wait a moment to get help and I called to see if the had moet nectar imperial before I drove way out there to find out they had moet rose brut Publix train your employees efficiently so they can be on point! already bad enough you dont pay them very well

I love love love their peanut butter cookies, but PLEASE MAKE MORE BATCHES!!! Whenever I go there(1 to 2 times weekly) I either find only 1 box of peanut butter cookies or none at all which really does hurt my feelings because I am addicted to those peanut butter cookies.

During my visit I bought a NCEL scratch off ticket. Before I left the store, I went to the customer service desk to cash in my winnings. The clerk working at the desk told ke he didnt have enough money to cash the ticket in and said I should go to another store to cash the ticket in and he returned the ticket to me. As I was leaving I thought about the experiences Ive had attempting to cash in a ticket that I bought somewhere other than where In was trying to cash the ticket and returned to the counter to ask Gabe if he van give me a money order for the amount of my winnings. He told me no he cant do that. He could only do that if it was western union (I didnt understand what one had to do with the other). I asked Gabe if I could speak yo time manager, he then flipped his name tag up to me and said, I am a manager. Being from Florida and a life-long customer of Publix, I know Gabe was not upholding Publixs standard of customer care. I then asked Gabe if I could speak to the store manager, said to ke hes only going to tell you the same thing. I knew that he wouldnt, so I asked if I could please speak with the store manager again, he then turned his back to me and walked away to call the manager. After a few minutes, the store manager arrived and greeted my very professionally, and lo and behold, he didnt tell me the same thing. The manager Damien cashed in the ticket for me. This wasnt my first bad experience at this location, but Im sure it will be my last, because I dont think Im going to return. The five stars is for Damien and his professionalism and what I know Publixs truly is.

I used to support Publix bakery for all my children’s birthday cakes. I will not ever again support the bakery. I ordered my 17 year olds cake two days ago. It was the most simple cake I have ever ordered. Base of the cake was one color, roses another color and since it was a two tier we wanted vanilla cake on top and marble at the bottom. The entire cake was done incorrectly. I came to the bakery one hour early to check and make sure it was right. The manager directed me to go shopping until it was finished. When I came back the entire cake and color was wrong. I was as nice as I could be. The cake decorator said she was sorry she read the order wrong. How in the world do you read the ENTIRE ORDER WRONG? She had to do some more adding and fixing and by the time It was finished it had been scratched up and ugly. She than gave me $7 off. $7 for an entire messed up cake. So I did tell them they needed to take more off and they did. I was still highly upset but I had no time to order another. Than after the dinner party for my daughter she cut her cake only to see the batter was even wrong. An entire vanilla cake. It was supposed to be marble. I’m a Mom that takes pride in these things that might be little to others. I had already ordered a very simple cake. I’m much more sad than angry I just don’t understand. Losing one customer may mean nothing to Publix.

Went to try this crispy chicken sandwich. Comes with bacon, cheese, honey mustard, and mayo..the honey mustard and mayo mix had me a little confused..would be a top notch sandwich if you could order without.

I just left the Publix located at 2222 South Blvd and I was offended by the self checkout worker there. The time I was there was at 11:52am, the work name is Leema or something close to it. Me and my husband only had 4 items and was getting in line for self checkout when the cashier tells use to go to register one to checkout. There was no one but one Caucasian man checking out. Me and my husband are African american. I asked is self checkout not open? She responded Yes, but you can go to register one, if you like? My husband said oh I thought only one register was open? She said no all registers are open. I told my husband we are using self checkout. Two other Caucasian people just walked right in self checkout to the registers, not once did she tell them to go to register 1, the register closest to their Customer Service. I feel like she was sending us to Register 1, because of our color, because I have been going to the Publix location since they opened and have spent plenty of money in there rather it was in person or from Instacart. Never once has a Publix employee from that store every said anything in a racial way to me until today. I did not stop and ask for her manager because I have medical issues and also embarrassed so I just needed to get out of that store. I was very offended by that employee instructing only us to go to register one, like we were going to steal the 4 items we had. She stood and watch the transaction until we paid for our stuff and then went to talk to Customer Service and the other cashier. She was not talking about us, it sounded like regular store conversation. I want to make someone aware of this for it want happen again. I have heard stories of people being racially profiled at Publix but NEVER had this happened to me until today 02/22/2021.
