If you’re not white don’t even bothering coming to this location I went to sell AUTHENTIC gucci shoes which were already authenticated in another store with the SAME machine they use, to be told I needed a receipt to sell my items as if it were actually NEEDED because they couldn’t find a receipt and didn’t even bother to look in my bag or my stuff because if they did they would’ve found everything that was needed to verify! They didn’t want to look nor sell my items maybe it’s hard to believe these days that ANYBODY can afford GUCCI!
I needed a dress last week for an important last minute event. Jackie and Mia helped me pick out a Whole OUTFIT! Great store.
I brought two bags of clothing to Clothes Mentor, I had folded each item and had them neatly stacked inside.. Upon returning my items back to me every single item was shoved back in, even the leather jacket was treated poorly. It’s about customer service, I didn’t expect to sell all the items but I certainly didn’t think I’d receive my clothing back in a heap..
Stats restaurant was a great change. I yruly enjoyed the fish & grits..the music and atmosphete was great.A good place to visit..
I try to stop by for a quick run-through every time I’m near the Arboretum. Usually I find a handful of deals. My pandemic pounds forced me to do a big shop this weekend and Clothes Mentor delivered! Hooray for jeans that fit! Julia is my favorite sales associate, she is super helpful and kind. Definitely worth a visit!
I am so annoyed with this place. Every time that I have come to sell clothing, shoes, or purses here, they either never look through the bag or say that the items are “outdated” even though everything was purchased within the past year or say that it’s “out of season”... if I take a look around the store and see that there are dresses, short sleeve shirts, boots, sandals or whatever, you shouldn’t say that it’s out of season. Keep in mind, I always see items that look like they were made in 1975 in the store. I would hate to think that they aren’t taking my clothes due to the size of my clothing or anything else. I’ve given this place multiple opportunities to for great outcomes and they never fail to disappoint me.
If youre looking for the very best in Designer and the prices are very affordable. I really enjoy shopping at clothes mentor especially the Arboretum and the staff is very sweet and very knowledgeable.
Decent store, but treats their employees badly. Multiple friends of mine work/have worked there, and they pretty much never have good things to say about it. You know a job is bad when it makes it’s employees cry. So disappointing to hear about.

Took in a large bin of most name brand, some new with tags clothing. Lady seemed annoyed I walked in her store. She bought 1 pair of off brand cut off jeans. When i got home, I noticed the clothing in the bin had not been moved around or un folded. As I looked around in the store, I noticed there plus sizes were bare. I had mostly plus sizes.
Lots of choices, clothes are in great condition, prices are good. Ill go back.
I could rave forever about the arboretum clothes mentor! If you are like me and try to mostly shop second hand, I 100% recommend CM over the other popular resale stores in the area. Most importantly, their customer service far surpasses that of other resale shops in the area. I feel like similar stores tend to have unfriendly staff and I often feel like I’m inconveniencing them. Whenever I come to clothes mentor I am always greeted by the staff, and they always ask if I need help, or even talk to me about my purchases and converse about style. Apart from the awesome staff, I find clothes mentor to have the best selection of clothes compared to other resale stores in the area. They always have quality items that are appropriately priced, and they have good high end brands as well if you’re looking for that. I always see Free People, J Crew, LuLulemon and other similar brands. The owners are people I feel good about giving my money to as well, because they seem to genuinely care about their staff and customers. They were the only resale shop that took time to reopen after the stay home order was loosened instead of open ring the first day the could. They put protective shields in place in front of the registers to protect the employees and I saw them sanitizing very regularly while I was there. This is a small business you should feel great about supporting!

Always love the selection here! The store is ALWAYS neat and organized when I go. Located in a great shopping center where you can get a quick bite to eat after shopping! Love love love! The clothes here are more casual hit they do have some office options. If youre looking for quick pick ups...this I is the perfect place.

Excellent variety of gently used items-got a Vera Bradly purse for $18! Have other designer bags in excellent condition for under $75. Worth the trip.
Staff always friendly and helpful. This Clothes Mentor seems to take more of your used clothes than the one on Kings Dr. They also will give your more money for your items thats reasonable. Even though its further out, but worth the drive.

Biggest joke. Called and ask if they consign designer bags. Told me “only true designer bags accepted”. I took 4 authentic brand new Michael Kors bags that retailed average $298-325. When I get to store - over half the left wall is covered in bags that look like they are from a flea market. “Knock offs” and in very used condition. The average price they were selling for was $85. They looked at my bags and offered me $44 for all 4!!! Crazy. Then they would sale for $100 or more each. If you are going to tell customers that you only accept high end authentic designer bags - that’s what you should be selling. And offering $11 for authentic new bags is a joke. Will NOT recommend this store and will never waste my time there again

Clothes are well organized by size, style, and color. Staff very friendly and approachable. This location is larger; therefore, more inventory, abundance of shoes.
Its good for those looking for recent trends, but the prices can higher than thrift stores.

This is a great place to sell your gently used clothes as well as fine great deals on name brand items. Very nice store.
Staff is especially nice, but I wouldnt suggest trying to make a load of money from bringing clothes there to sell.
Friendly customer service however they never purchases anything or little to nothing. Give you a few dollars and triple price when you go back your item is 3 times the price. To me it seems they cater to a certain clientele. When Ive brought name brand items in lately to sale its always out of season or they dont need that item at the moment. I wouldnt recommend this particular store to sell to but yes to purchase due to a wide variety.
Good selection and found some good deals but other things were wayyyyy overpriced. So if your willing to search through everything its def. Worth your time.
Beware. Apparently theres a two year window in which your clothes are even worth buying. Doesnt matter if you know for a fact that many of the clothes you brought in were purchased from high end retail stores less than a year ago. Maybe because theyre plus size? Apparently out of two large boxes full of expensive stuff, not even one item was worth buying. The entire store smells like a middle aged womans purse anyway and their selection is not that great.
I really like this store except for the fact that the racks are so full its hard to go through them. Makes shopping harder than it needs to be
This is a great store. The prices were good and there was a large selection to choose from. Definitely one of the better secondhand stores that I have been to.
I went there at the recommendation of several neighbors. I lugged 2 bins full of my deceased mothers clothes there, and ended up bringing most of it back (and Momma didnt buy cheap stuff). Althought the staff was friendly, the excuses for not taking the items were lame. Not worth the time or effort. I ended up bringing her clothes to a second hand store that helps battered women. That will be my first stop from now on.
Clothing selection was okay. The racks were very tight and it was very difficult to look through items. Staff was considerate at checkout, although no one greeted me or asked if I needed any help.

A great store to buy from but they will not take many item for resale.
Hey didnt seem to go through my items very well as when I returned and saw what they had selected to keep I went back through my bags and found additional items they said they could in fact sell. The prices for shopping there are very good, however, you dont get much for your items. The flip side is that you can make some money for your no longer worn items and they will donate the rest for you.

Amazingly disappointed. I had purchased multiple items from this location. They lost my business this past Saturday when a snotty, short-brown-haired young girl told me that I could not apply the credit I had been awarded through a stamp program Clothes Mentor created to now their computer tracking program. Apparently, the last day to apply card stamps was on August 5. (The company has my email address on file and I was never notified of this deadline.) After the unprofessional message (which included an eye roll), I left my present purchase on the counter and left the location. Uncertain who owns this location, but I would suggest you train your staff on the importance of customer service. Even receiving bad news should not result in a lost customer. It absolutely did in this case. Your lack of professionalism has lost by business.
