My girlfriend and I were searching for outfits to wear to our friends Indian wedding. The owners of this shop went above and beyond to help us pick out the perfect outfits that paired so well with each other. To top it off, it’s usually difficult for me to find something in my size due to my height but my outfit fits perfectly with no alterations. This is definitely the place to go in Charlotte for anyone looking to purchase Indian clothing.

I came to this shop to find something to wear for my friends “Big Fat Bengali Wedding” as she would say. Honestly, I didn’t have much information to go on besides what was sent out in the email blasts. The owner/designer was so knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. Not only did I leave with something stamped with the brides seal of approval but something that made me feel beautiful from the moment I put it on. The owners were very helpful in selecting the perfect dress for my event. They also helped me with the saree I brought in because I did not know how to drape it properly and the owners helped me with that too. At the end, I came in with two poor fit incomplete outfits I already had and walked out with three perfect fit ready-to-wear outfits.

Just purchased a lehenga for my daughter from Vastra clothing. Sohil and Nisha were extremely helpful and very courteous. The apparel is of very good quality and everything is handmade. I have not seen this variety of high quality selections anywhere in the US yet. We are extremely happy with our purchase and will continue to go back and shop with Vastra for any future occasions. I just wish I knew about them before now. I will surely recommend them to all my friends as well.

They want you to feel your best in what are truly bespoke clothes.Their designs and fabric is beautiful!They were extremely communicative during the making of the clothes, and when I picked them up. These guys are awesome!!! My husband and I are wedding photographers and are starting to shoot Indian weddings. When researching online what to wear (cause why not dress the part!?) we stumbled across their business. Their website and Instagram don’t do them justice.. when you walk in the door you are surrounded by beautiful colors and intricate garments!We scheduled an hour long appointment to come try things on. As expected, my husband liked everything he tried haha. He tried on various combinations of vests and kurtas and left with two outfits. Being short and curvy myself and needing an outfit that I can easily move in, finding the right outfit for me was more of a challenge. Nisha and Sohil picked out a variety of outfits for me to try and gave advice on color choices and when to where what. I ultimately left with a beautiful yellow and gold embroidered tunic with fun bright pink pants that I’m so excited to wear! Nisha also hooked me up with a pair of statement earrings and made many jewelry recommendations.They spent almost an hour and a half working with us to find just the right items and made sure what we choose was appropriate, practical, and versatile. Not only are their garments gorgeous, but they also provide an extremely high quality of customer service to make the whole experience fun and easy!

I had the best experience here! I had never bought a traditional Indian outfit and had no clue what I should wear for the upcoming Diwali event I am going to attend with my boyfriend. Sohil took the time to explain what colors would look best on me, was patient while I tried various things on, and helped me find something that I loved within my budget.
