I never agree when they closed the office max near Target and have customers shop at this location. It was much older building than the office max near Target. When they closed their older location to relocate and have a modern I just never like it and took long.
Glen the manager was very helpful in resolving a issue that I had in store A+ Customer Service.
I came to Charlotte for a conference and forgot my business cards in VA. Tamara (Print manager) and her team were beyond helpful. She helped me create my cards and printed them right away. Much cheaper than having some shipped and I actually like my new ones better than the old ones. If your doing business at the Hilton next door or local area come here for great customer service.
This is their new location and I really like the store layout, so easy and comfortable to walk around a shop

Stood in line for over 40 min just to leave a folding order. There was an elderly lady in line in front of me so she was standing longer than I was. There was 1 associate there to help those of us in line (print center) and about 4 cashiers at the front registers. But as soon as the rush of customers checking out cleared, those helping them disappeared. Meaning the solo associate at the print center was left to carry on with no help. With each wave of customers ready to check out, again personnel miraculously appeared to get em scanned and checked out. I watched this wave occur over and over as we stood waiting for service at the print counter. I asked 3 different employees over a 45 min period for the store mgr and was told each time he was busy. He never came to the front to see if he could offer any customer assistance or help personnel move things along. I would think that if you were the one person left in charge of the entire store, the powers that be would at least make sure you had a higher degree of experience in customer care. Evan was a solo champ and so very pleasant as he tried to help us all. But I am especially disappointed in OD management for having an elderly lady standing on her feet for over 40 min. I offered to get her a chair but she declined, probably thinking it would be “only a few more minutes...”
They have the worst customer service here I walked in and asked what appear to be a manager but she was just a regular worker she was some old lady a question and she acted like she didn’t want to answer me I said I need someone to help me with a printer she goes go to printing services there’s plenty of people working there. So I looked yes there are people working in the printing services I need a printer so I walked off I walked around the store look around nobody’s on the floor help. I walked back up to her and said hey where is your manager because I need help with something, well he’s working the cash register she reply she never offered to help or asked what I needed. . I said never mind ma’am I’ll go somewhere else .

If you use this location please be sure to check your prints before you leave the store. Young lady working in the print dept was very rude and short when asked any questions. She was awful, most likely the reason why my programs were not printed correctly. But when she found out I had a business (from the item I was printing) she displayed good customer service skills when asking me to sign up for a business account. Management wasnt much better in resolving the messed up print job their employee did, will not use this location again.
Every time I go to bind my books in this store I have a terrible experience. Today was my last time. I went into the store, a lady called me to go in a certain line. I thought maybe they are more efficient this time. I went into the line to find a BIG screen where I shall enter my phone number, first name, last name. Anyone standing can easily know all my information!!! I asked why am I supposed to give all the information if I only need to bind a book. She replied that I shall do that in order to get service in this place. I asked why. She repeated again in a disrespectful way and after that she mentioned that this is how I can get in line. I said thank you very much and left. She was happy to see me going and told me to have a good day! The other time I went, another lady made me spend one hour in the store because she messed up my book and kept printing it over and over to fix what she did!!
If you are looking for a job, NEVER apply here. Not because the job there sucks, it is just that Glen Stanley, the manager of this place, does not have the gut to let you know that you are not considered for the position until you called him after nearly 3 weeks of waiting. Worse of all, he lets you do a background check process and build your hopes up of maybe able to find a job this summer to pay for college tuition, and then suddenly being told that Im no longer considered for the job because the summer is ending (Dont forget, I have waited 3 weeks of precious summer). He evens tells you that you can work at 2 locations at the same time. It sounds like a good deal right? Until he shuts it down by going silent for 3 weeks without anything. The slowness of the application process already implies the slowness of the service there. Such passive aggressive attitude and lack of honesty is definitely not something that anyone would want to deal in a friendly job environment. The overall job interview was a learning experience. WILL NEVER AGAIN APPLY AT THIS LOCATION, let alone ANY office depot in the future. And..Dont get me started on how empty the store is to begin with. If the manager is not upright honest with people who wants to work for him, how would he ever be honest with any of the customers? Wish there was a 0 star button.
I rarely not ever write reviews but I am simply tired of this location. For one you all don’t acknowledge your customers. Two I run a business and companies like Office Depot, staples etc are amazing because with my schedule it’s hard to go to the post office. It is annoying to me that when I enter y’all establishment wait in line for 10 mins to mail off orders for a customer service rep to state “our shipping is down“. It’s been down for weeks prior to the move. My time & business are precious to me please stop wasting it & inconveniencing me when you all could have simply put up a sign. & I would have had time to go elsewhere for my services.
The customer service and employee knowledge is some of the worst Ive ever seen. Ive gone to this location twice in one week for two different needs, once for lamination, the second time was for banner. Each time the employees made excuses as to why they couldnt help and offered no resolution do yourself a favor save the time and energy and just go to the FedEx store up the street!!!!
I found everything that I needed and wonderful sales on top of great prices. The customer service was phenomenal whenever I had a question a team member was close by to answer it or point me in the right direction. 5 stars!!!

Difficult to locate things the few times Ive been there. I couldnt find anyone that had a good knowledge of the store. To be fair I did find someone that know a ton about office chairs. They were polite folks as well.

The sales associates are always very helpful and knowledgeable. Theyll take you right to an object if needed. The cashiers willingly double check to make certain the customer is getting the best sales price. They offer help in getting purchases to your vehicle. Great service!
1.) I should have went to Staples, I’ll start off by saying that. Because when you ask them to copy, scan, email documents for you they do it themselves, instead of trying to pawn you off on a self service machine.2.) Since Office Depot employees would rather not be bothered assisting in my project that would have only taken 10 minutes of their time, I spent THIRTY minutes in the store trying to copy my own documents. First copy machine failed almost halfway through the task. Second machine kept checking me out when I wasn’t done copying, so now I have SIX different pending transactions on my Checking account instead of the ONE I would have had if the employee had simply just copied my files for me. Second chance at this location and I will not be back ever again. Horrible experience.
This place is very kill them with kindness focused. Went here to buy a desk for my new office a few months ago and the lady who was helping us never left our side even after we hinted that we needed some space to make a decision. She would step away to check inventory for a couple minutes but then would immediately return just to stand next to us silently.Ive also had the were watching you feeling when shopping for minimal things like cables and such which I do not need assistance with. Not exactly the most welcoming environment even though they probably mean well.
Jimmy assisted us at this location on 10/6 and I wanted to take time-out to acknowledge his service, which reminded me of good old fashioned customer service like you would receive back in the 1960s & 70s. Friendly as well as knowledgeable. Thank you !!
This was my first time using their printing services. I needed 6 identical color copies of a 3 ring binder proposal and digital copies in less than 24 hours. I was super nervous about getting it done correctly in the time frame I needed. ....April took care of my order and nailed it! Even down to the type of paper I used....then the package was shrink wrapped to perfection. Thanks April!

This was a terrible experience for me. I place an online order for same day pick up around 8:30pm they closed at 9 which was no problem. I assumed they would pick up work the next day and they would be ready around lunch time the next day. I called them around 11am the next day just to check the status and schedule when i should pick them up and the customer service was terrible from the beginning. The guy gave the impression that i was bothering him from the start and after discovering they could not find my order, put me on hold to look harder, and hung up the phone. i called back tried to transfer to the photo department and he couldnt come to the phone. I really needed the photos so i went back to my house, place the order again to try to help speed the process up and then called back 20 mins later and there was no one in the photo department to take my call. Having the deadline rushing up I called back again and asked that i speak to someone about my order or i would have to cancel my order. They would rather I cancel my order so I did. Now i have to find someone else to rush this order.Very displeased.
There’s a $3 minimum for copies lol so dont go to office depot, the place that specializes in copying and printing if you wanna print out 1 single pay stub.

We bought an HP printer at this store in November that was defective (only prints in pink) after only three months. I called the store and they said the return policy was 14 days. No effort to make things right or ask me what the problem was..... HP was no use either. They kept telling us the cartridges were defective, even after we replaced them three times. They refused to admit it was the printer. Do yourself a favor: Find a store that backs up their products with a real guarantee.

Was in store and asked sales associate if he could assist with getting a price for office furniture groups to furnish 4 offices...his response.. I really dont have time right now and I am the only person on the floor as I walked out without the information need I passed 3 associates standing at the register chatting.
This is a fairly good office store however it is very hard to get help when you cant find an item. Their selection of some basic items is also smaller than I would imagine.

I placed and order around November 10 and never received it. Spoke with management several time and I still have received my refund nor a return phone call. I’ll be calling Corporate tomorrow. They blamed the entire transaction on shipping, but their follow up is terrible.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. I went there yesterday (Wednesday) to get some copies made. I stood at the copy center for at least 15 minutes, there was two employees behind the counter, neither one acknowledged me or said we will be with you in a minute. Finally someone came from a REGISTER to assist me which I thought was ridiculous seeing that there was already two employees already standing there. I will be calling corporate to make a complaint and I will not be going there again.
I was over there last 8 months and I bought 540 ink and it worked for my printer. But there was no colored ink I could use.
Do not waste your time with this lazy staff of employees. Do yourself a favor and go to another location. Bad service.
