I always have difficultly finding some of the larger sized clothing that is cute and not matronly. Every time I go to CM, I find things I love and at great prices and in my size. The staff is extremely helpful. The store is clean and well organized. I finally love shopping and at prices you cant beat!

This Clothes Mentor is only good during the week in the mornings. They get so busy on the weekends that customer service lacks. I took 2 bags of clothes to them and they didnt buy anything. I took the exact same bag to another Clothes Mentor and they offered me $55 cash for the same clothing. I have found adorable Michael Kros clothing in this store and will continue shopping here just not sell any clothing here. But the other local Clothes Mentor stores are a lot bigger too.

~ I was utterly surprised with what I found when I went inside this store! All the clothes are literally like new! There was nothing in there that appeared worn and the brands and quality of the merchandise was OUTSTANDING! Best of all, the prices were FABULOUS! I will certainly be going back!

I would rather drive to the clothes mentor in Arboretum because of how bad the customer service is here! I wont be coming back.

Their shop has cute clothes for very reasonable prices. Most have no sings of any wear and they have a lot of brand names (although they also take target brands and such so its not like it is ALL high end brands).I have purchased and sold clothes and the policies are consistent. They dont take clothes older than 2 years old (even if they are the coolest and /or high end items), they dont take items if they find ANY signs of wear and tear and they dont take items if they already have a bunch of similar items.The low ratings are from people who are upset about their experience when selling (or attempting to sell) clothes. They will pass on a LOT of nice items and you cant take it personal. I donate the nicer work clothes that they dont take to Dress for Success.I agree with the comments that the price offered can seem VERY disappointing but it is what it is. They give you a 1/3 of what they plan to sell it for. They sell high end items for like $120 (not $1200) so if you have a high end item the $40 they offer will seem like WAY to little... so just sell it online instead. I wouldnt be mad at this chain for that. The $3 or $5 that they offer for most items is also a bit disappointing ($10 for $120 wool Ann Taylor suit slacks for example) but it is what it is... Take it or leave it. You can take your clothes to consignment if you want and see if that results in more money, but that wont be same day cash.In the past I have brought in a bunch of stuff walk out with $75-$150... and a much cleaner closet. :)

I wasted one hour of my life in this place. I never sell clothing I had very high end clothing and I went through the stuff at this store they are not high end they just have some cute stuff. The wanted to give me 5.00 for brand new clothing. I took the box that had about 400.00 worth of clothes and gave it to the women and her daughter in the place. I will never sell clothing to a store like this again or even buy from this place Beware !

Found some great clothes for my wife here! A Lilly Pulitzer tunic for $35!!This store is bright, clean and feels like a boutique. I didnt sell anything, but I understand why they are selective... because a lot of their stuff looks like its never been worn. Ill be back.

I have spent money at Clothes Mentor and purchased cute items but the very time I bring name brand items in the store I get nothing for them! Some of my clothes were the same name brand clothing on their racks for $40 bucks and another customers had same as I had but she got paid! Clothes Mentor said they could not use mine clothes!!! I checked out the whole store on yesterday the clothes are older than 2 years!!!Please tell the truth to the public you pick and chose who you want to pay!I will take my money somewhere where I am appreciated!

I brought a crate of nice clothes, that they said would take an 1hr- 1hr 1/2 to look through and make final decisions on, so I told them, I would return the following day. About 15 mins after I left, the lady called me and said, they didnt want any of it!!!-WASTE OF TIME!!!-

Need more items for tall women and size 10 shoes, I found 2 pretty tops though.

Terrible experience. Staff was extremely unfriendly and not well versed in quality clothing. It was very apparent that their staff did not have the right level of expertise in identifying and accepting quality clothing and assessoried. Buffalo Exchange and Platos Closet much better. The store Sold mostly junk clothing and accessories. Dont waste your time going here. Ill never return.

I brought in good quality clothes at 1:30 and was told they could not look at them until 4:oo and I could not stay until then so said I would return next day. When I called at 2:15 to make sure there was no wait the next day, was told they were ready for pickup and they only selected 2 items. I could have stayed and not made another trip. They were very unprofessional and wasted my time. I have sold at upscale consignment shops before and was shocked with this experience! It is definitely NOT a place to sell quality clothes, maybe a place to buy low end.

They should train their sales people on better ways of sorting through items. This is my second time bringing in items to sell. Mind you yes the purses while Dooney & Bourke could have been a little out of season. The clothes were not I purchased items currently offered from Kohls and Old Navy. But I was told they had to pass because of being old. Another time I brought in a Coach bag and because the zipper was made differently they wouldnt take it saying the zipper was broken. Took it to buffalo exchange where it was good just wrong color.

Drove 12 miles to come during the business hours they are supposed to be open, yet theyre closed. The store hours are Sun 1-6pm. Not sure why theyre CLOSED right now.

All I can say is WOW! I buy stuff all the time from Clothes Mentor for my niece and friend who has lost alot of weight. Now I even have her shopping there. I recently took some stuff there to sale because your items for plus sizes are terrible. Not a good selection. I only shop at Lane Bryant, Ashley Stewarts, Macys and Belks but I received a pass. I do believe my items were not looked at b/c everything was in the bag like I took it. Than to top things off the young lady stated just wash and clean them again and try later. I am not a nasty person and I wouldnt dare bring someone some dirty clothes. So i was very offended!! going forth I will not shop at this store and I will inform all my friends.

Only select customers were acknowledged upon entering the store. My sister and I had to find out about the discount promotion by overhearing one of the select customers get the spiel. Wont be shopping here anymore.

They had a sign stating 90% off clearance when I walked in the store was filled with women clothes they dont sell any men clothes

Not too crazy about the staff who assisted me when I brought in clothing they struck me as to be prejudice they were college students by the way and whats so crazy is the fact that they were the same as myself I mean why would you turn down all of this clothing which was practically new actually some of the items still had tags on them and then turn around and ask if you wanted to donate them something is wrong with that picture something is wrong with that place
