They need to up their game. Very slow. Medications neve ready on-time. Last time came the second time in 2 days only to be told their dont have rx needed in stock. Switching it back to cvs.

The brunette on 6-21-21 who was manning the pharmacy drive-thru at around 11:30 am was rude. She couldnt find my prescription that was just called in 2 hours ago. Instead of letting me know that she was having trouble, she left me sitting there forEVER. I didnt know what was happening, so I hit the call button. She ignored me. I hit the call button again. She ignored me. I finally was waving my hands and then she finally told me that she was looking for it. She was not apologetic, polite or courteous. When she FINALLLLY found it, she ever-so-slowly rang it up, threw it in the drawer and barked, Whats the address? (because she has to). That was it.. No, sorry for the wait....No... Thank you....have a nice day... In fact, she never even gave me a total ($). Nothing! She was letting me know that she wasnt speaking to me because I inquired about why it was taking so long. All I said to her was, Whats wrong? Id been there a long time! To have someone on the front lines means they need to be speaking to people, saying please and thank you. Get someone better or retrain...In fact, Im transferring the RX somewhere else--so I can make sure I dont have to deal with her, again.
Pharmacy on site, also a variety of items for sale, candy, snacks. OTC meds, diapers. Makeup, nail polish. It carries about anything you may need. Great selections to shop for.
This company should do better with protecting their employees and customers during this pandemic. There was a crowded line, customers walking around with no mask or gloves! The employees are doing their best to protect themselves by wearing a mask but their mask protects the customer. If a customer coughs or sneeze with no mask on the employees are not protected. I was on a isle when another customer stood by me without a mask and disregarded the social distancing rule! I was so uncomfortable I left the store! Walgreens need to do better.. No Mask (scarf, cloth, etc) No Entry!
10/2: Second time Sonja has been an absoluteNightmare.If youβre gonna have the face masks behind the counter, donβt be rude to the people asking what colors you have. The lady literally said βyou canβt see the colors?βUH NO or I wouldnβt have asked. She pulled off three colors I didnβt want, I then saw they had another color, maybe orange or red and I said so you have no others and she said no.-.- get a grip.
The young pharmacy associates border on rude and they are definitely are not helpful. I called to make sure my prescriptions were ready before driving down. All my order was not ready and the demeanor of the young girl was combative and non-apologetic. Corporate chain for you....
PHARMACY: this is hands down the best pharmacy in the South Charlotte area. Not because they always have the medications on hand, even certain controlled drugs that can be difficult to fill at other pharmacies, but because their staff has always gone above and beyond for their customers.Bri and Jackie are knowledgeable, detailed and always have a smile!Lilliana is always willing to help so dont be shy if you have a question! She has the answer!In the two years I have been filling our prescriptions here, I dont think I ever had a problem that wasnt easily solved! And after reading some of the reviews, I think some people forget this is still a corporate pharmacy and they have rules to adhere to themselves, regardless of the doctors! Everyone knows some of these doctors can be sketchy so we cant blame the employees for covering their butts!

The good: The store is very clean and it is obvious that the staff takes pride in its appearance. Everything including the mens rest room was spotlessly clean. The staff themselves are friendly and really very helpful. If my review was based on these two items alone then they would easily earn five stars. Unfortunately, theres more to be told and thats where the bad comes into play. I recently switched to Walgreens because the Rite Aid pharmacy that I had used for years was one of the 1932 stores that were bought by Walgreens. The transition did not go well regarding my prescriptions. I was told that some medications had no refills remaining (they did as indicated on the number of refills remaining shown on the current pill bottles). The cost of two of my medications increased dramatically. One medication increased from $25.00 to over $60.00 for the same medication with no change in my insurance plan or coverage. The cost of another medication increased even more than that. They simply charged more for the medication and my insurance company paid the same percentage as they historically had for years.As a commodity, I can not justify spending more than I need to for the identical product. Consequently I will likely be filling my future prescriptions elsewhere.
Always so nice at this location, ALWAYS has prescription on hand so I dont need to go somewhere else, and when I go to photo, they go above and beyond!!

I stop by this Walgreens multiple times a month. It is always clean and I regularly find things I need on my shopping list I didnt expect them to have. Very convenient.In general the cashiers and all the pharmacists I have encountered are very nice and the pharmacy hours are better than the CVS I used to use.My only complaint is due to the set up of the roads around this location is a bit awkward to turn in to, depending on which direction I am coming from, but it is worth the minor aggravation to have nice pharmacists and a clean store.
Always so helpful and personal! I love the staff and the app and pharmacy systems. From pharmacy staff to cashiers to management I cant say enough good things. I just left this store and I was there 5 minutes and got my prescription and toilet paper and witnessed a manager buying a water for an elderly customer in need of help finding her way back home, while the cashier called her home to inform them. Seriously!?! Im there 5 minutes and I still see 3 staff members being so sweet and helpful to me and others. Thank you to all the staff working til 9pm on 8/10/2018 π
This pharmacy is legit the worst pharmacy with the worst staff that I have ever dealt with in my adult life. I have never felt so judged in my life. Nor have I been told that they would not fill a prescription. I just had a c section and they will not fill my prescriptions, even though the doctor wrote and called and said the prescription could be filled they still will not fill it. They are NOT the doctors. You are a pharmacist, not a doctor. Let the doctors do the prescribing. Worst pharmacy ever. If you want to be judged then go to this pharmacy!
Ever since Patti and Catherine left this pharmacy has gone to pieces! The pharmacists especially Brodowski is rude and the wait is extremely long.The only upside are the people who work in front of the pharmacy.Also the cashier in front as u walk in is terrific and friendly.The pharmacists need some friendliness and compassion.
New store nice store. most of the employees are friendly. The Rite Aid cashier Lynn is there too but never got I see 3 employee to ring up other customers on 10/12
They are very helpful every time I visit this location. Whether It is in store or drive thru. The pharmacy is always on point. Sometimes this store appears a bit understaffed yet they truly hustle to get you in and out.
This is the worst Walgreens Pharmacy I have ever used. I have been here three times and each time the 15 minute wait turns into an hour. The pharmacy staff have the worst attitudes. Enjoy.
Walgreens was my go to place in the morning for last minute items I need to get through the day. However, one particular cashier at this location is always so nasty! Not everyone is willing to smile or be happy in the morning, but when you walk into a store and are greeted with a frown and a look of disgust, it doesnt help! I have vowed not to return to this walgreens, especially when I see that particular cashier around, I just turn around and go to the Rite-Aid up the street!Everyone else at this location is AMAZING! Just one bad apple that has driven me away!
This is the worst Walgreens in Charlotte. Came here to drop my fed ex package off and they put it in the pickup location so it was sitting in the store for 2 days luckily nobody stole it. Came to pickup my prescription and Iβm typing this as Iβm waiting in drive thru with not one employee in sight. Just shut the whole store down. βπ½
Ran out of my dogs medicine and the pharmacist (a guy, sounded Indian) would not refill her prescription without my vets consent. Well, my vet is closed because its Sunday and Ive been refilling her meds at this Walgreens for years. I hope my dog doesnt get very sick because of this.

Write a review that is helpful.As for me, Walgreens Pharmacy has been diligent filling my Rxs. Specialty Rx in Durham keeps Rx on file, fills Rx and forward to local Pharmacy for me to pick up at my convenience. I do not have to pay a business to accept parcel or take off work and stay at home.The local pharmacy can be slow to recognize you are standing there so I will say hello to get their attention. Sometimes customers picking up Rx seem to want to have long dialogue with Pharmacy Techs and the techs do not acknowledge you standing there.The store itself is kept up, organized, and has some good sales so I like to browse while I am there.-Frank

Nasty cashiers - This Walgreens flip-flops on whether you can purchase gift cards with a credit card. Most days they let you, then some days you get a cashier that claims its corporate policy to only allow cash payments (which is a lie).
Poor customer service/wait times. They call and email to notify you that your prescription is ready, then when you get there, its not ready.
AWFUL every time I use this pharmacy. They are slow as mud.
Always out of my medication, they never order it. They send me to the wrong store and then that store tells me they canβt fill it. Useless.

The pharmacy is very slow. The drive-thru line is never attended to, so you almost always have to go inside. When youβre inside, service is very slow.
Tired of opening late and closing early. Ive had to wait 30+ minutes for the manager to arrive, and today they are closed before 8:30 PM
