Great prices but sometimes limited size selection ☹️

I didnt find a thing. Actually when I entered the door the person came out from nowhere and started offering us help. I felt like she was watching us the entire time. So I opted out of buying anything from them.So unless you are Caucasian I dont recommend this place, because you will be watched.

Well they didnt have the specific shoe I needed, but they are having a pair shipped to me at no additional cost. In fact, I learned if you have signed up, they give you a small discount on your birthday 🎂.. they applied that as well..Very pleasant

The manager was very nice assisting me I purchased some air max that were on clearance it also had a red stain on the white shoestring and and she gave me an additional $10. off I wasnt expecting that but I will be back Great Customer Service

I watched the manager stand and stare at my daughter as she shopped. I watched her give signals to another white employee to watch another black woman. This was blatant racial profiling and its awful! We put our shoes back and left the store immediately.

Ordered a new pair of Chuck Taylor’s online and selected the pickup in store option. The order was ready fast; I was in and out of the store in minutes.

This afternoon in the midst of a power outage and tornado warning other stores were pushing people out into the weather and refusing to offer shelter but these guys took about 20 of us to the back room where we stayed until the threat had passed. Most of us were just passing by and there was no hope for a sale with the power out. Thank you for your caring customer service. Even tho i dont live near Charlotte, i will frequent my local Famous Footwear more often thanks to these employees.

They have a great variety of shoes. I went with some friends and they found what they were looking for.

If there was a way to give a negative score for the Asheville North Carolina store (3293) I would. The assistant store manager tried to check us out and told us that our gift card was canceled by their company and she could not tell me why or what had happened. After several calls to her manager and a few attempts to the district manager which never answered she told us there wasnt anything she could do. Not a discount or anything for driving 1 1/2 hours to the store to use a gift card we paid $50 for that the store canceled without telling us anything did we get. There is no reason to have people in these jobs is to be able to help the customers and make it worth wild to come back to the store, to bad no one there has this idea in mind. The old golden rule that the customer is always right doesn’t seem to work in this store or in this area of the state. I had to call customer service to try to correct an issue that the company created by taking our money and not telling us. The customer service lady reactivated the gift card and added $25.00 more to the card for our trouble. She and her manager could not understand why the assistant manager, store manager or the district manager did nothing at that time. I also filed a corporate complaint but it went to the district manager which did nothing like before. When she called she was rude and had an attitude toward me as she said she had talked to the assistant manager and store manager. Again nothing but attitude when I asked why nothing was offered to us and she said the store manager could have offered us a 10% discount. I guess their way to solve taking $50.00 from someone and letting the drive 1 ½ hours to the store is worth only 10%. I hope a lot of people read this and stay out of the store in Asheville as it is not worth going to. all. My family and I went into the Famous Footwear at Charlotte Premium Outlet and witnessed racial profiling towards two African American women. The manager at the desk motioned forJohn (an employee) to follow the 2 African American women shortly after they entered the store. It was clear they were targeting those 2 ladies because there were other customers of other nationalities entering the store but they were not followed by an employee. The two African American ladies left the store and John ( the Famous Footwear Employee) resumed back to his position prior to the two African American women walking into the store, however he and the Manager followed the two women with their eyes while they were exiting the store. I spoke with the two women after exiting the store to alert them of what I witnessed. Surprisingly the two women said they felt as though they were being targeted just from the energy that workers displayed. The two ladies said it made them feel uneasy so that was why they decided to make a purchase and just leave the store. As we were talking, outside of the store, the manager, John, and another employee were all looking at us talk with guilt on their faces. They knew we were on to them and how unprofessional they were towards African American customers. The two ladies stated to the manager that they were fully aware of their racial biases and will be contacting the corporate office to make a complaint. Other shoppers in the store were also aware as they observed the tension between the two women and manager / employees. I, along with my family left immediately and proceeded to shop at the other shoe stores and spent over 200.00 and was highly pleased with the customer service from Reebok, Converse, Addidas and Nike. Moving forward, my family and Iwill NOT be shopping at ANY OF THE FAMOUS FOOTWEAR STORES .... EVER!!!!!! We are also alerting all of our friends and family to not shop there. This incident happened on 9/23/18 at approximately 4 to 5pm in the late evening at the Charlotte Premium Outlet in case upper Management or Corporate is reading this.Such a Disgrace!
