I dont have enough good things to say about the whole crew over at B&W. I had minor damage on a 2018 camry that came out looking brand new. 2 months later someone totaled my 2003 4runner. The guys here not only kept me in the loop while the insurance company was impossible to deal with but they gave me endless advice on how to deal with and get more money from the insurance company. B&Ws customer service exceeded my expectations and I would recommend them to anyone.

I would highly recommend B&W Auto Body. Someone backed into my vehicle, crushed the left fender and broke the headlight. B&W made it look like better than before I got hit! Their prices are excellent, the turn around was fast, and Charlie and the rest of the team were very professional and friendly. They are great at what they do, dont worry about looking anywhere else!

Charlie and everyone at B&W are fantastic! The work is always top notch. They also go up and beyond to make my vehicle look great, car washed and touch of paint or buffing on other scratches I may have.What I appreciate the most is the customer service. There have been server all times my car have been in an accident (no judgment please!) and B&W helped me understand how insurance policies work and how to advocate for myself during an active claim.I highly recommend B&W for anyone who needed work on their car.

First, the good:These folks did an amazing job getting my cars body and interior into shape. I brought it in with multiple damaged panels from various minor mishaps, it was dirty inside and out. When they were done, it was spotless on the outside (other than some acidic weathering damage due to lack of waxing, which wasnt something they could fix without repainting) and the inside was a huge improvement. Still some slightly visible mud/food stains on the upholstery, but very faint, and given what they originally had to contend with, better than I had a right to expect. I cannot fault them for a single thing they did with my car, they were incredible.Now, the bad:I dropped it off on Sunday night, having been told it would take three or four days. That turned into next Monday, and Monday turned into Thursday. Now I understand a time estimate is just that, an estimate, but if its going to go over its better to call the customer and let them know so they can decide, e.g., whether its worth hiring an Uber to go to the supermarket, rather than wait for them to call, like I had to. Also, despite the sign they had on the door clearly stating that face masks had to be worn in the office, only Gary wore his, and even he took it off after a while, while everyone else walked in and out without one. I really dont care what someones politics are, vote for Jack the Ripper for all I care, but respect the science, respect the local ordinances and respect your customers health. Everything else aside, its just good manners. Dont say Have a blessed day and then curse me with your actions.

Been coming to this place every time an animal decides to catapult itself to my Mazda. So far, 2 deer, 1 bat, 1 mouse. The deer create the need to come see Charlie at B and W. They price fair, and always good work done.

I recently had the pleasure of getting my car repaired at B&W. What an incredible experience! I cant say enough wonderful things about the service from owner Charlie and all the staff there, especially Randy in the front office. They were the absolute best to deal with, worked so meticulously to make sure the repairs I needed were absolutely perfect - my car looks better than when it went into the shop! I cannot recommend them highly enough, this should be your only choice if you need a body shop in the Charlottesville area!!!

B&W Auto Body has fixed several cars for me over the years. The owner Charlie is super knowledgeable about all aspects of collision repair. They are also on the leading edge of technology, for as we all know vehicles are more computer than machine these, and they have the tools and the skill to fix any car. (I even saw a Tesla sitting in the repair bay last time I visited).If you are in a need of getting a car repaired due to an accident, be it a small fender bender or a large multi-car collision, I would definitely recommend B&W Auto Body. Every time I have visited I have been treated like family and they go out of their way to make sure the customer is completely satisfied.I noticed after one time I had some work done, a very small repair getting a small dent and scratch touched up, they had even cleaned the car inside and out. I cannot stress enough how pleased I was with the service I received for every car Ive had worked on here.Please, if you need a vehicle repaired you should take it to B&W Auto Body!

Charlie gave me a price that was over 30% less than the next closest shop (one shop said the work I wanted done was impossible). They completed the work in 3 days. Car looks like new. Even did a little additional work at no charge. Id definitely go to B & W the next time I need body work.

Trustworthy place - Excellent customer service. Involved in a bad accident and needed help right away. Greeted when I walked in the door by the owner (Charlie) and his wife(Tammi). They patiently walked me through my estimate - not pushy, lots of information, lots of experience - I could tell they genuinely cared about me as a customer. They didnt try to sell me anything I didnt need and were completely straight-forward. The car came out looking EXCEPTIONAL. They are INCREDIBLE! I was in between them and another auto body repair shop, and Im extremely happy that I chose B&W auto body repair shop! First of all, Charlie was amazing because he explained in detail how they were going to repair my car. This gave me a lot of confidence to leave my car with them. They were also very conscious and nice to repair my car on time. I had to drive home a week after I had time to drop off my car and they made sure that I would have my car, like new, before I had to drive home.In more detail, my car had a big dent in the right back side of my car (before the bumper), caused from someone backing up and crashing into my car. The damage was pretty awful but they made it look perfectly new. It looks as if nothing happened to my car. No small imperfections and the color matches!!I highly recommend them!

This is really a great experience repairing here. My rear windshield is broken and they just helped me out with that perfectly. I dropped the car there in the early morning and it is ready to go in the same afternoon. The people there are very nice and helping! Highly recommend!

Charlie and his crew were wonderful. He replaced my front bumper for less than I was quoted elsewhere and was able to save me money by salvaging my headlight instead of replacing it. He also paid for me to rent a car, because my insurance didnt cover it and his loaner car (which he lets customers use free of charge) was already being used. Once they ordered the parts they needed, they got it all done quickly. He was respectful of the timeframe I said I needed him to abide by. The only aspect that was less than perfect is that the paint they used isnt an exact match for my car, but it was close enough. For the price, I didnt complain. Overall, it was a great experience.

Had a fantastic experience! As a young woman I am often wary of being taken advantage of when it comes to getting work done on my car. But I never once felt that way at B&W. Charlie was friendly and helpful and the customer service I received from everyone there was phenomenal. They fit me in as soon as I called, started working on my car as soon as I got there, and were finished in less than the estimated time. I was getting my bumper repaired but in addition they fixed my damaged side mirror and a turn signal that wasnt working correctly- for no additional charge! B&W is the best and I recommend it to anyone and everyone. I had a terrible week and to top it all off, I damaged the passenger side of my car. I needed my car fixed asap to get to work and I was frustrated after calling (no exaggeration) six places to try to get them to fix my car in a reasonable time frame. Charlie was the only one in Charlottesville that was able to commit to fixing it within the week. Not only was he professional, kind, and caring, but he was trustworthy and I felt like I could unload the stress of my damaged car because I knew I was in good hands. B&W worked efficiently AND they did a great job; my car looks PHENOMENAL...I cant even tell that it was damaged. In a nutshell, great service, efficient workers, extremely honest, and just pure, good people. If you need your car fixed, youre doing yourself a disservice if you dont go to Charlie!

I would probably go back just to hang out with him!His team repainted the bumper and the hatchback of my 2013 Toyota Prius along with a buff, wax, and touch up on the door. My car, which looked pretty sad going in, is now seamless.His pricing was super, duper fair for the work they did, which includes a loaner car free of charge.I really cant recommend B&W Auto Body enough. It feels funny to say that getting my car fixed was a lovely experience, but it truly was.

Do not take your vehicle to this shop. The owner smiles and lies right to your face. Our vehicle was there for almost three months when the original estimated time was 2 weeks. Excuse after excuse...I tried to call and he would never answer the phone or if the phone was answered by one of his employees, they stated that Charlie was with a customer and would call me back. He never called. When we showed up to find out what was going on with our truck, we found it in shambles, more excuses were given and still no truck. If you expect a timely repair with an honest shop, go elsewhere!!

I drive a 1990 VW Westfalia that is my baby, and Im skeptical about who I let work on the body of my car. A good friend recommended that I go to B&W for some cosmetic work I wanted done. This is by far the best auto body shop in Charlottesville, maybe even Virginia (or the world!)! We have been to B&W an embarrassing amount of times (dont ask) but every time one of our cars has been damaged, Charlie and the workers outdo themselves. Charlie refuses to let a car leave his shop in anything less then perfect condition of repair. He will go to bat for you with insurance companies and will keep the car until it is done right. If you trust him and his team, your car will come back looking better then before it got damaged. Wow! No fear everyone, there are still kind, trustworthy body shops out there! After my experience at B&W, I will not go anywhere else from now on. I dented my car door pretty bad by accident and wanted to get it fixed asap so my beloved car could look good again. Thankfully, I was referred to B&W. I went there for an estimate and Charlie explained to me all the ways my door could be fixed and gave me options. He also had before and after pictures of similar repairs so I could get a visual which was nice. I told him what I wanted and he gave me a more than reasonable price compared to what I was given by other body shops/mobile vendors in town. When I came to pick my car up, I was in awe. It looked perfect, like nothing happened... Also, I noticed my car was looking a bit more shiny and cleaner than before. When I got in it to home, what do you know, they vacuumed my car out and made it all fresh. They even cleaned the dog slobber off my windows! Thank you B&W! I know I am rambling but Im so impressed. You can tell people trust them not only by the good reviews but the customers that came in while I was there who they knew by name and who had obviously been there before. Excellent service! These folks really look out for their customers interest, regardless of the amount of money they make. They went up to bat for me against a negligent insurance company that wouldnt cooperate. They absolutely did not have to do it, and didnt gain much from it.

This so called body shop is a joke. The owner is even more of a joke. Do not trust anything he says. He will tell you a date when your car will be complete and it will come and go with excuse after excuse after excuse. He is a professional liar, the shop is dirty and he oogles at every woman that comes through the door. I actually felt uncomfortable and brought a co worker with me each time I had to go to this location. The paint color doesnt match, the invoice charged parts to my insurance company that werent even installed on the car....STAY AWAY!

Charlie at B & W was absolutely amazing to work with. He goes out of his way to assist his customers. Our daughters vehicle was totaled in an accident. Finding a good auto body shop from out of town can be a challenge. Charlie offered to tow her vehicle; worked with the adjuster and appraiser on our behalf and even defended us from the other drivers unscrupulous carrier we had to deal with. He always had time to talk with us; gave suggestions for dealing with the carrier and managed the salvage process for us after the car was totaled. We are so thankful we found B&W. Would recommend Charlie and B&W to anyone.

I first encountered B&W auto repair when our daughter had a significant fender bender that required towing. Unsure of where to have it taken, I asked the driver for his recommendation. His instant reply was B&W Auto Body. Completely unaware of this business, I further questioned him on the reliability of his suggestion. He just looked at me and patiently, as if tolerating a hypoxic child, replied, “They are the best”. Still feeling as if I was blindly trusting the unknown, I consulted the power of Internet and was instantly mollified by over fifty rave reviews. The owner and proprietor, Charlie, was immediately accessible and took the time to work up several different repair scenarios. Still unsure of what to do, my wife and I actually went to see him about the fate of our almost valueless car and from our meeting, we both realized that here is a man who love his work, his family and really life itself.It is apparent in his every word. His life story alone is quite amazing and we marveled at the peace this man harbors and exudes. It was then clear that we would want him to repair our car, any car, for as long as we are vehicle owners. If I needed a total knee replacement, I would have him do that as well. Ok – so jump ahead to our picking up said car. It looks better than when we first got it. This is truth. His repair tech clearly shares Charlie’s concern for a job well done and we are thrilled. Then there is the matter of paying for it. His price was also indicative of a man who is concerned with quality work and not so much the bottom line. It was nothing short of miraculous to drive our greatly improved Camry off his lot without selling my dog and children at a flea Market. Best shop in town. Wonderful husband/wife run outfit, and as the previous post stated, very very honest. They take pride in their work, and always do a fantastic job. I have seen every type of car come through the shop, from a 69 125K dollar Shelby GT500 for complete resortation to minor fender benders. This speaks to the level of work as well as competative cost provided at B&W. Be sure to go here first.

Love this place! Had a some bruises on the front and back and fixed it like new. Had a little issue with my underskirt falling off afterwards and Charlie ordered up new parts and took care of it for me. Definitely recommend

Charlie was just great. I tore up my bumper cover on a concrete parking stop and had to pull the whole thing off to stop it from dragging around when I drove. Even worse, I had to make a cross-country drive in a few days and couldnt afford to wait for a replacement part to be ordered in. Charlie not only reattached my bumper cover overnight, he even let me borrow his Land Rover to haul the old bumper cover into his shop. When I came to pick my car up in the morning, I also found that he had washed it for me!Id rate him six stars if I could and would absoutley recommend Charlie and his crew for any body work you need in the Charlottesville area.

Our brand new car was hit by a deer, literally ran right into the side near the front left wheel. The dealer and friend both recommended B&W. Being somewhat familiar with auto body repair and picky about how the repair on my new car would look I went in with some trepidation. The job took a little longer than expected due to difficulty matching the paint color, but the initial job was decent. I noticed some blemishes in the finish and debris that got caught up in the paint on the door where they had to blend the factory paint with the new paint. Without even flinching they asked to keep the car so they could fix it. It took them a few more days and they were always friendly when I would call often to check on it. When I did finally get it back it was nearly flawless, much better than most repairs Ive encountered. I always felt they were honest with me regarding the process and I really appreciated how they treated me when I pointed out what I thought was a problem. I would definitely go back to B&W and refer my friends to them.

Charlie is a liar. This shop is awful and I feel sorry for the employees that have to work for a man that calls himself a Christian yet lies directly to your face with a smile. My car was there for almost 3 months and I still have to go back for follow up work that wasnt performed the first time. I regret taking my care there and will NEVER do business there again. Do yourself a favor and take your vehicle and your trust to another location.

To anyone and everyone driving in Cville: I drive a Ford Crown Victoria named Vicky. She recently broke her nose in a nasty cat fight with another car, and it was looking pretty bad. My family and I thought all hope was lost, and we were sure that Vicky was never going to recover. But then the sweetest surgeon named Charlie swooped in and saved the day. Charlie, aka Charlie from Charlies Angels, used his magic powers and his angels, among whom are Tammi, his lovely wife, and Cody, to not only give Vicky an outstanding nose job but to give her a little make up and pampering too. No sign of that nasty squabble!! Charlie is an amazing person; he goes above and beyond to help his customers and their families.
