Took my Forester there for repair based on the glowing reviews. Billy was very communicative at first, but after 2 weeks in the shop required prodding for answers. We eventually got the car back and after hours access was greatly appreciated. However immediately discovered headlights were misaligned. This place gets a passing 3 star review, not 5.

I have had multiple places of scratches, dents, chips, big and small and they are all around the vehicle. Including Cville auto body, Ive visited four body shops for quote and cville auto body not only provided the lowest-rate, but they were the fastest as well. Cville auto bodys quote is clear and to the point where all other quotes are really puzzling to me because they are often several pages long with jargons all over the place. Bobby and his team was hospitable and professional throughout the process. He allowed me to bring my own parts where other body shops are not as flexible. Because I wet-sanded some of the scratches before visiting the shop, Bobby also generously gave me a good discount. He and his team done their job not only on time but Bobby himself kept me updated by sending me pictures of my car throughout the process. In the end, everything was done right and to my satisfaction. Overall the customer experience is definitely A-grade. It would be A+ if you guys could vacuum and clean the interior of the vehicle before returning, as the interior of my vehicle did look a bit messed up when I first got in.

This is, hands down, the best body shop in town. They have restored my car to like-new condition after trees fell on it, a deer ran into it, and most impressively, after it rolled down a hill into the woods.Estimates are accurate and fair, service is cheerful and honest, Bobby works well with insurance companies to insure a fair settlement for all and the bodywork is simply stellar. On a cross country move I had an incident with a deer a few miles from here. After limping my car into the local toyota dealership, they directed me to Bobby at Cville Auto Body. Bobby ended up opening the shop early for me. He worked with my insurance and even helped plan for a potential of shipping my vehicle since I was in the process of moving. Cville Auto Body staff are honest, prompt, and their work is high quality. I had my car worked on at the dealership until I was grossly overcharged for a simple fog light repair. I called Cville Auto Body for a more accurate estimate on the issue and they saved me over $300, not to mention hours of my time. I wont go anywhere else in Charlottesville for work on my car now. Make sure there isnt a drop falling from the sky or they wont do an appraisal. When I was turned down they didnt even attempt to make an appointment for me or ask me anything about the nature of my visit.

Very friendly and accommodating. Other auto body shops in charlottesville wouldn’t give me a quote without an appointment, and wouldn’t fit me in for repairs sooner than 1 month. Cville did my quote as a walk in and fit me in within a week. Also worked with me to drop off and pick up my vehicle outside of normal business hours. Estimate was cheaper and work was performed more quickly than quoted by other shops. Finished product looks as good as new, and to top it off they cleaned the inside of my vehicle better than a detail service I recently paid for. I would recommend this establishment to everyone.

Very friendly service, excellent work. They greeted me warmly every time I walked into their office. I brought my car in on a Monday, and they called me late Tuesday afternoon to tell me it was ready - very fast! Perfect color match for a unique Hyundai color; I cant tell my car ever had damage. If I had to name a con, it would be that they dont put down paper protectors for the floor mats - I had to vacuum my car out. But thats a small price to pay for otherwise great and fast service (hard to find these days). Look out for their friendly mascot kitty, Bondo - hes adorable!

Very disappointed with the quality of work.Poor paint work and body work. The paint finish after being repaired at Cville auto body was very textured unlike the rest of the vehicle. The metal fender was also distorted and not bent back to its original shape at all. See photo and think twice before going here.To their credit they did offer to fix my car again but after the first round I dont think they really have the ability to do better. If they did they would NEVER let something like this out of the shop!

CVille Auto Body is by far the best body shop I have ever been too. They are professional, honest, detailed and efficient. Their customer service is unmatched and their integrity is unquestionable. I recently brought my truck there after hearing from a variety of people that they were the best.Before going to CVille Auto Body I had brought my truck to another body shop. I received the truck back with raises in the paint, dents, scratches, fish eyes, runs, burns from the buffer and countless other problems. After a few days you could even see where they had painted because the paint started to fade away. Everything was covered in overspray and it had an orange peel like texture. I brought my truck back to this other body shop four different times to have it fixed. Each time I received the truck back it was filthy, covered with compound and gunk and the problems were not fixed. I finally contacted my insurance company, asked for a supervisor and after showing him the damage, was allowed to go to another shop. I chose CVille Auto Body and it was the best decision I could have made. The truck looks like it came off the showroom floor. I receive compliments everyday about my truck and people constantly ask me where I had the work done. With pride I tell them CVille Auto Body. I will never take a vehicle to another body shop as long as I live. However do not take my word for it, ask around. The people I talked to, after hearing my story, recommend them to me, I am sure if you ask around your neighbors will recommend them to you also.
