I have been coming to Shenanigans since I was a small child in Charlottesville. It has always been my favorite toy store, and the new owners have kept the store as magical as I remembered. This was my first visit in years, and I was so touched by the lovely customer service from Frank, who was patient and kind with my niece and nephew! Thank you, Shenanigans, for keeping this kid at heart wide eyed and wonderful.

Staff is freindly and helpful. Toy selection is wide and has a good variety in price and quality. Their game and puzzle selection is always great! They carry a large amount of both baby and kids toys. For the fantastical and geeks alike, everyone will find something!!

Came in on a whim while in town and absolutely fell in love. Lovely, clean, organized, and colorful store with great ideas for all the kids or kid at heart gifts you need. Couldn’t be happier to support this store and complete my gift shopping.

This is a New Favorite Toy Store. The staff are incredibly kind and know a lot about all the different brands they carry and trust. We loved that we could support this local business during the Holiday Season especially. The store is very well organized including Infant/New Baby favorites, preschool, school age and kept very clean. Covid-19 safety procedures are in place that kept a minimum number of shoppers allowed in the store at a time and when entering hand sanitizer is available and asked to be used. We appreciated how much thought Shenanigans has for carrying a fantastic selection of highly and popularly reviewed brands. They have a great variety of gorgeous, fun puzzles for different ages. Lots of great books, Legos, building kits, arts and crafts kits, dress up clothes and other imaginative/creative costumes, the softest selection of stuffed animals, pretend animals from large dinosaurs to farm animals, fun jewelry and kid-safe nail polishes.

This store provides the best customer service you will ever find. If you want a truly special gift for a child, the staff will help. I get shopping recommendations for our grandchildren every time. Just tell them the interests of the child and the knowledgeable staff will give you 2 or 3 options. I called 1 day before our grandsons birthday and got personal help finding a gift while looking at the toys on my own computer. After I made my choice, the gift was wrapped and I picked it up curbside. A great shopping experience!

A very well stocked toy store with a friendly staff. The breadth of offerings is impressive, especially for the size of the store. Size is a consideration though - with all the stock packed in there it can quickly start to get crowded.

We love Shenanigans! Our family has been going to Shenanigans since I was a little girl, and we have always been so pleased with both the friendly service and the thoughtful selection of toys. This past spring during Covid-19, they did an amazing job of picking out and safely delivering toys to a family friend for us. They have taken great precautions during the current Covid-19 climate, and we feel very safe in the store. Best place to go for toys in Charlottesville!

Shenanigans is one of my favorite stores in Charlottesville! They carry a vast selection of unique toys for every age and interest, and I am always able to find exactly what I am looking for. I really appreciate that they have easily accessible parking, and that their online store is very functional and easy to navigate. We always receive exceptional service and they have been particularly diligent and accommodating during this challenging pandemic time period. I highly recommend them!

I used to visit them when my kids were young. Well 25 years have passed and Ive returned to shop for the next generation. It is great alternative to on-line and big box.

A small independent toy store. While they may not have the sheer inventory of a place like the now gone Toys-R-Us, they use their space wisely to stock a large variety of toys, many of them educational or creative. Everything they have is of great quality and fairly priced.More than that, everytime I have come in the staff has prove to be courteous, knowledgeable, and, above all, helpful.If you are looking to get some toys for someone you care about, I can think of few place in town I would rather go.

This place is literally the ONLY place that I shop for Birthday party gifts. The employees are amazing! I go in and tell them the childs gender and age and within minutes They pull a few toys and Im out with a beautifully wrapped, unique gift that has been a winner every time. Well done!

Buy local and be assured you are buying high-quality and safe toys. I live that they recommend age-appropriate developmental toys for my granddaughter for me. Truly a wonderful and locally owned shop that has been here for years.

The owner has a fantastic sence of purchasing. Great selection and reasonable prices. While the service/staff were somewhat friendly and helpful, I couldnt but feel watched, like my family was up to no good. The best toy store of its kind that Ive noticed.

Great service! They had what I needed in stock - with prices lower than amazon - and I had free delivery to my house (due to social distancing) so much quicker than ordering online as well!

Very cool toy store. Has a lot of unique toys that some of the other chains do not sell. Bought some rocket balloons for my kids and they loved them. The people that run the store were also very friendly.
