Went in trying to find a local yarn shop in my area and was extremely disappointed in this store. I don’t know how they stay in business with al log the employees gossiping and knitting in the back room. I wasn’t greeted when I came in and spent 20 minutes looking around without ever being even acknowledged by an employee. I actually wanted to buy an item but after waiting for someone to even put attention to me I decided I’d rather just buy it from somewhere else where they’d actually appreciate my business. It’s a wonder this store is in business at all if they’re too busy knitting and gossiping to even greet customers.

I really like this store! It stocks quality yarns such as Quince and Swan’s Island, plus cute project bags and some awesome notions you don’t see in other knitting stores. The shop is beautiful and everything is well laid out. Friendly and knowledgeable staff make this place a five star knitting destination for me.

This is an amazing yarn shop with so many beautiful American yarns...I would buy every yarn in the store if I could. A lot of cute notions too--in addition to my sweaters worth of yarn (Shelter) I got a leather wrist bracelet/ruler and some nice enamel stitch markers (so much better than the plastic ones). Go there, you wont be disappointed...the only difficulty will be all the choices.

Nice shop, everyone was friendly and helpful. Very good selection of fibers for knitting and weaving. Plenty of tools, accessories and instructional classes to produce beautiful woven goods yourself.

I ran into the shop 25 minutes before close looking for a project to take on a trip with me that evening. Lori was immensely helpful in hooking me up with a great project, with all the supplies I needed. She was knowledgeable, efficient, and very glad to help! Ill definitely be coming back!

She not only sells locally-spun & hand-dyed yarn, but she also teaches classes on the regular; Im currently taking a My First Sweater class and loving every minute of it! If youre a yarn lover in the area, I definitely recommend stopping by and also signing up for her newsletter for weekly updates. If nothing else, youll find yourself inspired!
