Great place to shop for international grocery especially Spanish stuff. They use to have some African and Carribean grocery but not so much any more. Hope it comes back

Great variety of produce, dairy, canned goods, frozen foods, and fresh meats. They have every possible dried chile you could imagine, and the lunch/dinner counter in the back is not to be missed - absolutely the best pupusas for miles!

Mom & I go here to find those things that bring us home: the freshest cuts of meat from the nicest butcher in town; tasty platos poblanos (changed up weekly!) served over saffron rice, flaky yucca or dressed with your favorite chiles rellenos- ready to eat from the Cocina in the back; stacks of corn or wheat tortillas for your dishes; aisles of trusted brands packed with dried & canned goods from your favorite Latin countries; a WALL of dried chilies varying in size, flavor & HEAT; dairy & frozen aisles hold cases of PALETAS, savory cheeses & cremas your abuelas fed you as a kid... AND all the tamales, empanadas & pupusas you can cram in your buggy. WHATS NOT TO LOVE, ESE? ☝️😄 ¡Todo lo encuentran aquí!

People seemed nice there. Plenty Spanish herbs and other groceries, and food in the back!

Lack of hygiene, customer dont wear masks, buffet area crowded with people without masks, very crowded, no respect for social distancing, it should be reported to the authorities.

Great Latin American grocery. Lots of cool foods to play with. Great meat section and tons of fresh cheeses. The spice selection and sauces will bring me back, but the best is on the back. A small cafe serves great papusas made to order along with other items.

Had dinner there with some family. We have eaten there a number of times previously. They are also a regular store and stock most of the products and brand names, including fresh produce for Latin American cuisine. All of us feel that the food is pretty good and well be back again.

Great selection of Hispanic items, specially the frozen food section. The food at restaurant has a good variety of dishes to choose from and they taste good....too bad the seating area is freezing cold, and the ladies at counter act like they hate you for ordering... Is not like we want them to fawn at costumers, but they can be more people friendly and smile.

They have the best tropical fruits in town! Incredible papayas and mangoes. They also have a very large assortment of herbs and spices. Everything at very reasonable prices.

This market is a delight. The front is full of fresh fruit: mangoes, melons, limes, coconut, plantains and some mysteries. And vegetables: cabbage, zucchini, onion, dried beans, spices...all used in the delicious freshly-cooked foods they offer in the back of the market. They are also a meat butcher. Plenty of dry goods Latin style.This morning I had my first “pupusa”, a tender-crisp grilled (not fried) savory pastry made with corn flour; mine was filled with seasoned beans (frijoles) and a little cheese (queso blanco). Served with “curtido” (a latin slaw) and a mild sauce, both on the side, it was to die for. I also sampled the freshly made sweet beverages: chia seed, grain or melon. Good thing my gym is close.They have several tables in the back to accommodate diners, or the dishes can be packaged for takeout.

About time Charlottesville gets its own Latino market with great selections!....not only Mexican and Central American products but also South American!!Looking forward to its expansion and greater popularity!!Perhaps some TLC in organizing and presentation could help. :]

This store/restaurant is TRULY a RARE gem in Virginia. They have the BEST papusas around Va, PLUS ITS CHEAP! I will literally drive 30 minutes out of my way just to go here. All of their food is fulfilling no matter what you order which keeps me coming back.I love their store as well, as it reminds me a lot of home. I love Sabritones chips and conchas. Cant find the good stuff anywhere else but here!!
