Definitely a must stop to visit if you are in the area. Its a short tour inside but gives you a sense of Thomas Jefferson-a complicated and brilliant person. Also give you an insight into tje lives of enslaved persons a word that i now prefer over just slaves which tends to label them as objects

The store is clean and well stocked. The associates are pleasant and very helpful. Tom was particularly enthusiastic about helping me find what I need!

I always enjoy shopping at foodlion. The sale items are usually always in stock. Store is kept neat. When lines are backed up, they will get another register opened to get their customers checked out in a timely manner. (a BIG plus!)

One of my favorite grocery stores to shop at. Its a tad smaller, but because of that you get that hometown feel.Nice selection of meat, great produce & nice small cheese variety. Prices are very reasonable. I recommend the store app as it adds to the savings.Store is always clean, staff has been very friendly and extremely helpful.Definitely recommend.

I have shopped at this store for over 12 years, I have never been disappointed with the quality or service. The MPV card does save u money, love when they mark down their meats.

Store is kept clean and organized ... altho stock is an issue at this time but thats beyond their control ... staff is really nice and helpful ... well most of them 😉 I really do like shopping here and will continue to do so ... at least as long as I am in this area

Since the renovation of this store the layout is all wrong!!! A customer shouldnt have to go on 3 different aisles to buy canned goods. Vegetables are in one place. Tomatoes in another place. Fruit is in a third placeI dont even know where canned pasta like spaghetti was! I didnt even see it. So I guess its in a fourth place. Come on!?!! ALL canned goods on one aisle!!! If I want to walk 50iles to buy groceries Ill go to Walmart

Branchlands needs more cashiers during the evening shift. Cashier Dale was very friendly, and asked if I found everything that I needed. I dont like long lines however.

The last several times I have been to the deli I have been very unhappy with the service I have received. When I am finally served, I am not getting what I have asked for. I dont think I will use the deli again. The only reason I usually go to the store is because it is so close to my house. I will be driving a bit further for better service from now on.

They never have everything I need, and dont carry dairy free ice cream. But its good for a quick stop to grab the essentials.Edit: they DO have dairy free ben and jerrys now! This is a very good thing. Also, whenever my wife and i enter the store, a random track off Taylor Swifts Fearless plays. The storefront looks like the last known photo of a Food Lion. In all seriousness, everyone there is very nice and it is my go to store.

Employees not wearing masks. Cashier was holding a mothers day card for my senior citizen mom and sneezed into his shirt. Way to go Food Lion now I have to worry about giving this card to my Mom and killing her. Every other grocery store in town has self checkout.

The produce is always fresh, So are the meats. Its easy access to where i live. Everytime I go there Im greeted with kind words and a smile.

Stop here alot, deli department has lots of choices for quick meals.

God forbid if you have 14 items and try to go to the express lane (12 items or less). Instead I would’ve had to wait behind an individual who had two carts full and a person in front of them going through the “normal” checkout lane. I’m guessing they accept a different type of currency at the express checkout or the lady was just having a bad day due to hardly anyone being in the store at that moment (7:00 pm). Either way, not a good way to get repeat customers as there are more Food Lion options around the area.

Cashiers are friendly, they have pretty much whatever you are looking for, I rarely need to go to another grocery store for specialty items.
