Staff is amazing. Friendly as heck. Clearly frustrated with distribution shortages caused by covid but they are smiling through it and making it work.Shelia (hoping I got her name right) who made our coffees was a delight and when she realized they didn’t have my flavor she sought me out and made sure I liked the substitute. It was like the attention to detail at a private coffee shop

Went to Wawa at 2am. Ordered my smoothie. first, the lady behind the counter had no mask while pouring ingredients etc. then i turn back around to see her try to hurry and put her mask on lol. the icing on the cake is she coughed on my smoothie and said sorry for your wait. this woman clearly looked sick. Also, still coughing loudly while walking out. no very safe for these times

Most establishments in Hampton Roads, Va are lacking personnel. This Wawa had only two people making food, and only ONE person on the register. The girl on the register was managing 2 lines, simultaneously. Impressive! Big shout out to the girls making food: My salad was excellent. It was absolutely perfect. Thank you for serving with courtesy and professionalism, even though you were way understaffed.

Always have loved wawa since I first visited one. Coffees and hoagies on point.However, I do have a request for this location. I like to order my hoagies toasted. This location either toasts them too long or the bread is old or something, because the bread is always too hard to bite and difficult to chew. I have witnessed other customers having to make special order requests here to try to avoid this.I don’t know for sure what it cause is, but I would appreciate it if it were addressed.

Phillip was amazing served 5 tables plus me and kept on it no problems service was fast respectful exactly what I would want from a waffle house.

5 times now I’ve ordered the same thing in hopes it would change. The portion control feels like I’m in a homeless shelter. The chicken salad literally had 25 pieces of lettuce. Why am I paying $11 for a salad with 25 individual pieces of lettuce. It’s a wawa like everywhere else but the made to order food is a rip off.

Hood location. I would actively avoid this trap special. The customers are rude and the employees unprofessional. They closed half the store off during a busy time to wash floors. Also, they left the public restrooms closed eventhough they sell food and that is actually illegal.

Wasn’t busy on a Monday night, just went in for a soda but every time I do come here I never have an issue. Small wait during checkout which is common in wawa’s. I will definitely be back again soon.

Placed an order at around 4. Im waiting for my order to be called and the slim dark skinned deli lady just kinda mugged me. Didnt hear my number get called and Im the only one in there.I walk up and ask if the sandwich on the counter is my order, and she barely nodded, then sits on the counter.I like this wawa but I am not feeling the overnight crew.... And the order was wrong.

Short on staff at lunch hours, at noon line wrapping all the way around the register, have not seen in to that extent just yet. Saving cash on staff but loosing hundreds in sales from people walking out and hurting ur own reputation

Always a line. Took 30min for a sandwich to be made. Management is oblivious to the stacking orders for the 1 girl behind the counter.

In the past 3 weeks, this Wawa has declined so noticeably that I will no longer be coming. I have stopped by almost every day, and they are out of over half their menu each time. The line is always insanely long. There is always at least 1 computer down. They get the orders wrong or dont tell you they are out of something until youve already paid and they have made the good.Their coffees are shut down. The icees are shut down..Im not sure if its a staffing issue or something else, but what was once my favorite spot for coffee and breakfast has deteriorated severely. I will try again next month and will update my review if things have improved. Its very unlike me to dislike a place, let alone a Wawa, but the quality is terrible now.

Western Branch Blvd location...Cashier was very RUDE as my girl was DENIED ENTRY due to MEDICAL ISSUES... thats DISCRIMINATION!!Called mgt and was told she would get it straight with cashier immediately. I was also given the number to corporate. You best bet Im calling them next.

They need a new system for ONLINE ORDERING, I shouldn’t have to wait for y’all to make 5 other peoples sandwiches when mine is literally sitting right there ready and already paid for.

This store can never get simple sandwich orders correct. I select yellow mustard when ordering, they put spicy mustard on. I select little bit of mayo and they put a whole jar on it... For the price they charge for these mediocre quality lunch meat type sandwiches you would think they would read the instructions on their screen more carefully while theyre putting the sandwiches together but apparently that is just asking too much. Done with this location for a while.

At 11:30pm my Coworker went to this location and purchased something everything was fine. At approximately 12:15am I come to this location where the lady tells me they are closed???? Why is WaWa closed???

I love wawas. If you havent experienced it, then you need to. The coffee is great, the sandwich shop is even better and the prices are surprisingly reasonable.

I think I really expected too much the bread was too hard to meet was too bland it ask you if you wanted none little or a lot of different condiments I feel like I got a little even though I picked a lot the app wasnt user-friendly as I thought it should be overall it was just an average experience I expected better Im probably the thing that really surprised me the most is they only had Coke and I love Pepsi

The food is great! I like that there are delicious healthy options made fresh, fast, and inexpensive! I was there 2 days in a row for lunch. I had the custom option for the chicken salad salad...not a typo, and the tuna club!

My mother was being cashed out and when she received her change she said, thank you, to the cashier. The cashier response was, no problem. My mother was heated when she returned to the car. Some people in customer service should learn respect. When someone says thank you, the correct response is your welcome, not no problem or have a good one. This is a problem I see alot in this area, customer service etiquette. I can deal with have a good one, much better is have a good day.

Had to change my rating I came here on Christmas and the staff members were incredibly friendly, I have to say it would take a lot for me to work on Christmas and still be happy, their gas is gas. Their quick service food is quick. The shop does exactly what is required of it and more.

Employees on the food side Move slow, laughing and talking to each other while customers are waiting. It would be ok if they actually were working while they were talking to each other but when you stop what you’re doing and have to talk and laugh while everybody’s waiting that’s not good at all

I used to really enjoy the food from Wawa but Im eating out a lot of restaurants lately and it seems to food is just not the same its probably just me it is a gas station I guess overall not too bad some of the employees are very nice and courteous and some not so much pretty much like everywhere I still enjoy their coffee and the overall cleanliness is pretty good and they do open up lines when needed take it with a grain of salt is just one mans opinion

Most of the food on the menu is always not out of stock and they don’t tell you until you’ve already ordered and paid for the item. I waited 10 minutes before my number was called just so they could tell me they didn’t have the items I had already paid for. Then tried to suggest other items I’ve never eaten before. Unacceptable! If it’s out of stock take it off the menu!

Wawas score very high in terms of quality of merchandise and convenience. Wawas are normally planted in demographically diverse locations. So when they are built they attract a diversity of customers. So as far as convenience stores go it should come as no surprise that they are profitable. This one has a reputation for competitive prices on gas. The self service shake machine is a great summer time treat. One thing that is very commendable about Wawa; since the stores are corporate owned the merchandise is very much uniform from one store to another.

Sitting here 15 minutes right now; waiting on a pretzel melt, you know the sandwich thats supposed to be pre made. Third time this week too. So Im here again and literally they just dont pre make their sandwiches ever. Then when asked for one it takes 15 minutes if they make the right thing. Dont bother if you get less than an hour for lunch

Never had a bad experience except for food. After a year of trying over and over again, tonight was like last straw with giving this Wawa a “second chance.” I love Wawa’a Buffalo Quesdilla however every time I go to this particular location, it is a terrible experience when receiving my food. The employees that work in the kitchen tend to be rude, they rush their orders and it is an overall unenjoyable experience. I do give the benefit of the doubt that I usually go there after hours but that does not mean I should reviece terrible services. My quesadillas tend to be soggy and never are consistent as far as a receipe goes. The Richmond area Wawa’s are much area. Hampton Roads Wawa, please choose wisely with your staff. 24 hours should mean quality service at all times of the day and night. If Sheetz comes into the area, there will be much completion.

The cashier Anita Banks has one of the most nastiest stank attitudes at this wawa location every time i visit this location late nights she doesent acknowledge you when you visit she is rude on a constant basis and she gives you this look as if you were bothering her

I ordered the BBQ chic. quesadilla. I explained to the person behind the counter, the last time I ordered the exact same thing they forgot to put the BBQ sauce on the quesadilla. She checks and says maam Im sure its on there; not to mention she made it. I get back to work and the once again, the BBQ sauce is not there...How do you forget the BBQ sauce on a BBQ chicken quesadilla not once, but twice...seriously

This was the second time in a week that i recieved burnt coffee. When i asked them to remake it for me the woman replied with its not burnt its just cause you mixed it up.They remade my coffee, it was burnt as well.

Ok first off... this wawa has been very convenient for me since its always on the way to or on the way home from work, but for the love of everything holy, why is it in the past 3 weeks when I come here (and I come here 4-5 times a week) I cant order a panini because they are out of bread. This is extremely irritating and annoy. Not to mention they never have any cookies after 8pm. If you know you are running out of product before you recieve the next shipment you should start ordering more. I work in the food industry and this is something that is never accepted anywhere I have worked. Im 1 more time away from never returning to wawa again. I know Im just 1 customer voicing my opinion but imagine how much money you are losing everytime someone comes to order these items and you are out of it and decide to leave and spend their money elsewhere .... its really a simple fix and I cant understand why it hasnt been addressed and changed. Things like this shows a level lazy to customers that should not be allowed.

Living near this wawa I frequent the location as it usually is competitive in pricing for gas and they offer a variety of services, on numerous occasions I have had negative run ins with the manager from the free air pump constantly being broken and not repaired even after it has been brought to their attention and when it was brought to their attention it seemed as if it was an imposition for them to fix it. Last time I checked as a manager you should be circling the entire property to make sure all services are working correctly not just the inside. Also the issue with the help button at the gas station, I was trying to pump gas and the card readers at all the pumps went down, I stood out their for five minutes at least along with the other customers waiting for the pump to read my card when I noticed the help button that apparently leads to nowhere. I went inside to find the manager sitting on her tail in the office after finally flagging an employee down for her to tell me oh they just went down, I was like so how about getting up and letting the people outside know?

First time getting a sandwich at Wawa, it was great!
