Fresh yummy made to order donuts! First time here and we tried the Maple bacon and chocolate/vanilla donuts with Dulce de Leche latte = 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼!

Donuts are fresh and the people there are always polite and friendly. Im no chef but these donuts seemed heartier (baked?), as opposed to to light and airy ( fried like Dunkin or Krispy Kreme). But theyre delicious and probably a lot healthier.

Donuts were great but the service we received from the kids working there was even better. They seemed happy to be there and were super helpful and attentive. Great staff! Kudos to the staff working on 08/21/2021@3:30.

My daughter and I love this place. They offer a wide variety of flavors. Its not your typical donut shop either. Youre able to create your own donut with all different types of toppings. Everything is made fresh too. So delicious.

I love Duck Donuts. This is my first time ordering at this location. They had more special donut combinations so this time I got the maple bacon, blueberry pancake, and cinnamon bun. I loved all the donuts. I had only had the maple bacon before. My husband and I really enjoyed the blueberry pancake. We love blueberry muffins but this blueberry pancake donut was so much better than a blueberry muffin. OMG. Great service. Friendly.

Their wings are chronic especially the lemon pepper my new favorite and their fries were delicious the seasoning was so good & customer service was outstanding. I have been back several times & will continue going back. They absolutely deserved 5 stars ⭐️

I tried this establishment for the first time and looooovvvveeee it!!! It has become out sweet treat go to for our weekly girls night!!!😋😁 Apple pie donut is my favorite. I dont eat bacon but my sister said Maple Bacon is the bomb!!!

This is a donut shop where you create your own cake donut. The donuts are made to order so they are super fresh and yummy. You can add a coating, a topping, and a drizzle to each donut, and if thats not enough you can make it into a sundae (ice-cream,whipped cream, and a cherry). This is a brand new location so its clean and lively. Yes you should expect lines and indecisive customers; theres a lot of options. I find the staff to be friendly and fast. Ive been here twice this week.

I will preface this review by saying that I wrote it with an understanding that good help is hard to find…We stopped by on our road trip back to Maine. When we walked in we saw a few people waiting. We ordered, they did not tell us the wait. As we waited we noticed that there was only one kid making donuts while another kid continued to take numerous orders. These were the only two working. We had seen what appeared to maybe be a manager once who disappeared in the back and did not return to the front. The kid making the donuts went steady and even though he was obviously overwhelmed he held it together and just kept the donuts coming. He quickly made the batter and frosted the donuts. He was always polite and gave the other boy directions like to stop taking orders to help make batter and sandwiches. This review would not be a four star without these kids hard work - they both deserve lots of recognition to work a 4 person position with only two bodies on a busy Monday after 4th of July. Kudos boys.

Always a pleasure when I go to Duck Donuts. The lady at the cashier was so friendly she made for a great experience. Went simple with my donut choices but they were delicious. I got Blueberry and Cinnamon sugar. You can customize your donuts, so go crazy if you want! You can even top them off with bacon. Don’t be shy.There were a lot of people standing in line when I walked in but I was out of there in less than 10 minutes. Located off of a busy highway so make sure you don’t miss the turn.I’m sure I’ll be back there within the next week to cure my sweet tooth.

Best donuts in the area, hands down. The Maple Bacon is a classic. The Sand Dollar (coconut and vanilla) is really good too. Highly recommend!

It wasnt very crowded when I went. The staff was friendly and the place was very clean. Everything smelled amazing! Prices are fair. The icing on the donuts was a little toooo melty and the toppings slid off a bit, but thats also because the donuts were warm and fresh. Definitely recommend!

It is a very nice change from the usual donut places. Im not a fan of big chain store donuts and Dunkin is an over-priced hot mess in my neighborhood. My son was talking about them a few weeks ago, then he brought me a bacon donut a few days ago. I was hooked!! If sin and decadence had a baby, it would be a Bacon in the Sun donut from Duck Donuts!!

Donuts are amazing. You choose your item toppings on a freshly baked donut. The donut base is a really soft moist cake donut. Many toppings include chocolate blueberry peanut butter coconut powdered sugar sprinkles, etc. Only downside is the slowness. Plan on standing in line 10 plus minutes.

I went here to get a donut for a friend, but was looking for something more like a bear claw or cinnamon roll. They only do donuts. That is all that is plain about this place though. They custom make whatever donut you want essentially. Dont be in a hurry unless you have been here before. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Also, very good coffee. Near and clean, but I was there when it wasnt very busy. I will go back, my friend said the donut was yummy.

I have loved duck donuts since the first time I had them last March upon arriving in Virginia. By far some of the most delicious donuts Ive ever had. And the fact that they are always fresh is a great bonus. Havent tried their breakfast sandwiches or drink yet, but I definitely plan to.

This is my third trip to this location and I have been disappointed every time, but most especially this last visit. First off, the donuts at this particular location are noticeably and significantly smaller than the donuts at other locations. I have very small hands and it’s barely the size of my palm. They are generous with the toppings, but stingy with the dough. Look at other pictures if you want, you can tell these are tiny. The service is sometimes friendly but always slow. Most recently, my order was incomplete as I was missing a donut but didn’t discover it until the store had already closed. Now I’ve paid for a donut without receiving it, and have no way to be reimbursed. If you want a Duck Donut, do yourself a favor and drive the extra 15 minutes to the Landstown/Princess Anne location, or make an afternoon of it and hit up Virginia Beach Boulevard. Spare yourself the frustration of this place.

(Update - It easy 5/3/20 sometime between 5pm and close. I dont have the receipt anymore. Order was placed over the website and I picked up the order. I have only ever placed 1 order through the website for myself. )So after picking up literally a 100 orders for other people, I decided to try Duck Donuts myself. I am very disappointed. Other peoples donuts are always made with care and look so pretty. (Maybe the morning people are just better at their jobs) Mine on the other had (see picture)(Evening order on 5/3/20) were literally slopped together like nobody cared about the presentation of the order. My donuts are also missing several of the drizzles that I requested. And the icings that are on there are rock hard. I ordered these donuts thinking they would be good treats to get me through my finals, but it looks like I may need to go spend my hard earned money elsewhere from now on.

Awesome place! Always courteous and friendly staff, donuts made to order, every order, these folks work really hard! Delicious seasonal specials and best of all are the breakfast sandwiches. My favorite is a bacon, egg and cheese on a donut with maple drizzle and hot sauce. Sound weird? Its not. Its actually pure heaven. This is not a paid promotion lol.

Omg. Yummmmm. It’s a hard tie with Krispy Kreme I think. But Duck Donuts are cake consistency and most of KK are light and fluffy. They are topped with different flavors. My favs are the lemon, the strawberry, and the maple bacon. You won’t be disappointed. They are a little pricey though.

Seriously the best donuts in Hampton roads! The staff members were polite and helpful and the donuts were made to order. I got the bacon and maple glaze, the smores, strawberry & raspberry, blueberry & lemon, and beachballs. Every single flavor was delicious and you better believe I will be licking the bottom of the box when its empty!

My kids really enjoyed their sundae donuts today. The guy making them was really nice to my kids. The girl at the register, she seemed new... She didnt know what was on my sons donut in order to put it in the register. She seemed to be struggling to use the machine. I also ordered a hazelnut latte... Im 100% sure it was just warm milk and a very small amount of hazelnut syrup... Awful, seriously the worst waste of over $5! She didnt look completely comfortable making it, so like I said, hopefully she was new.

We hired them to cater our wedding, and it was amazing! The donuts are always so fresh and delicious, and I got to choose the glazes and topping options offered. Two ladies came and handled the table and helped serve people the donuts, and we had a microwave to warm them up. The ladies (I wish I could remember their names!) were super nice and helpful, and the donuts were obviously a huge hit! Highly recommend them to cater your next event, and consider doing donuts at your wedding vs. the traditional cake! My husband and I had our own donuts, interlinked arms, and fed ourselves, but you could also split one in half and feed each other!

Visited before and had a pleasant time and tasty donuts. Came back again for something to brighten the mood during these dark times and was very disappointed. Stood at the counter for 10 minutes in a virtually empty restaurant (2 people already being served) and the cashier told me she would be back to help me in a minute then proceeded to go off and stare into a book on the back prep table for who knows how long before I left. I understand times are difficult but it is the effort you put in and show that makes a great store and this visit was anything but great. Will not visit again

Duck Donuts is by far my favorite chain. The made to order ensures freshness and nothing beats a hot donut. You get to watch them make it from start to finish too which I love. This is a newer one and is very clean and up to date. My only complaint is there isnt any seating, which isnt completely unusual for this franchise.

After quite some time Decided to give them another try .Boy what a big mistake.One improvement speed a delivery to counter but at the sacrifice of quality ordered three simple cinnamon and sugar donuts.Donuts were raw inside clumps of uncooked dough and taste of nothing but grease and sugar. Never again they do not deserve even 1 Star.Better choice Amazing Glazed located South Battlefield one block passed cedar Rd turn right then immediately on left right was doing business with them before Duck came to area and will remain faithful to them .I should never have listened to people in Norfolk raving about great donuts in OBX not any better in Chesapeake or Virginia Beach the ducks... Suck. Again go with Amazing Glazed taste better, priced better and served better

I was in there today (5-23-20), at about 2:00 PM, not more than half an hour ago, and I have to say my interaction with the staff was not good, and that’s being kind. I ordered a half dozen donuts, but did not specify what ones I wanted right away. So the cashier takes my payment and I go over to the area where they prepare the donuts. It seemed like it was more like social hour than a business, with them ignoring us the whole time, chatting back and forth amongst themselves, not even bothering to speak or ask what we wanted. They finally started to make the donuts and I tried to request certain ones and the girl behind the counter tells me it’s not their policy to let the customer pick what they want. WHAT?!? So, I say well, I paid for them, so I should get the ones I want. Then the cashier pipes up and says that I ordered “assorted”, which wasn’t the case. I replied I did not. So the young man behind the counter was gracious enough to ask what we wanted and I told him, while the rude one walked off and didn’t even offer an apology or help him get the order ready, presumably to go continue socializing with the rest of this ill-mannered group. Meanwhile, an older lady, who I guess might be the manager, is oblivious to everything taking place and is walking around with a mask 😷 dangling off her ear and doesn’t even bother to ask what’s going on because she herself is too busy in the back yakking to the staff to be bothered. Everyone was rude and unwelcoming, with the exception of the young black kid making our order. I thought this was going to be our go-to donut place, since I had been there before and the service was way better. But I guess not. Maybe don’t hire so many young immature people?

This donut shop is always on point. Worth the drive, but best eaten hot. If youre feeling exceptionally calorie care free, the donut breakfast sandwich is pretty amazing. Highly recommend the bacon maple!

I love their donuts but they are very slow at this location. I have been here on multiple occasions and the employees are just so slow. Even if you place an order online the donuts arent ready when you get there at the expected time. If you are going just make sure you have the time and patience to wait. When you finally do get your treats they are sooo yummy!

Well go back again.Deeply disappointed in this location. Went after picking my daughter up from swim practice. At 6 in the morning, placed our order, then waited while they took the order behind us. Then waited. Then waited while they prepared the order behind us and handed it to the customer. Then waited while they got coffee creamer for the order behind us. Then waited while they (finally) prepared our half-dozen order. It shouldnt take ten minutes to prepare 6 donuts in an empty store with 3 employees.

Delicious donuts but was disappointed that there was nowhere to sit down and enjoy a coffee and donut with a friend.
