Not a great experience at all. Ordered breaded mushrooms, but they never came out. The waitress forgot to put them on the ticket, apparently. The chicken wrap did not have much chicken on it, mostly lettuce. The fries were not cooked, cold in the middle, soggy.Unsure how long the waitresses have been working there, but they seemed very unhappy, did not crack a smile- not friendly at all. Barely spoke to us. Made us feel more like an inconvenience than like paying customers.Another negative aspect of this experience was seeing all of the political signage all over the place. Yard signs leaning up against the front counter, signs filling up the windows and bumper stickers scattered about the place. Is it a restaurant or campaign headquarters? Tacky. Politics isn’t an appetizing side with dinner. No matter the party.Pricing for food was a little much for the quality.Maybe it’s more of a breakfast place, than dinner. The breakfast plates I did see looked pretty decent.

One of my favorite spots!! I alway feel like family when I walk in the door!! I was originally attracted to this place because of the car theme. I now keep coming back because the food is excellent, the people are excellent and the car theme. Amber puts her heart and souls into this place!! It is literally the definition of the American dream!!
This place is awesome! We’re in the area on vacation and this restaurant is very close to the house we’re staying in. Everything that we got in our takeout order was absolutely delicious! The lady that answered the call and took my order was so friendly too (I think her name is Ashley). My only disappointment is that we didn’t eat in the restaurant since they’re so friendly, and since the place is decorated so cool.
The salads are to die for. I never can resist the salad so that’s all I’ve ate but everyone in my family who has ate other things says it’s absolutely delish. Oh and the banana pudding is amazing too.

The food is amazing and I love the conservative/patriotic atmosphere of the restaurant. The staff is super friendly and attentive, and even my super finicky son ate all his food and was grabbing the breakfast potatoes off of my plate!

Great little spot! The decor was great if you like muscle cars. The music playing was appropriate for the type of restaurant. I had a tuna melt, wife had chicken fried chicken, and daughter had a hot dog. It was all great. Very happy with the place and when we are back in Chesapeake we will stop by again!
This place has amazing fish!! If youre hungry for fish this is the place. Little hole in the wall and the staff is really great.
Great service and friendly staff. BLT didn’t have enough bacon. More tomato and lettuce than anything else. Strawberry shake was amazing but the chocolate was bad, too bad to drink. Appetizer came out at the same time as the meal. Probably would not go back.

Wish I could give it 4.5 stars! Food was fantastic, everything came out fresh and hot. Free bottomless sweet tea was a very unexpected surprise. The owner Amber came out and checked on us after our meal, and was a hoot. Will definitely be back if Im in the area!

We were looking for a real hamburger and found Hotrodders. Fresh-made buns and burgers. The chocolate cake and bannna pudding was amazing. Its a car-themed place, nothing fancy, but you will be very happy with the service and the food. With drinks, dessert, and a generous tip, it worked out to $20 a person. Highly recommended and we are very happy to have found this place.
Absolutely love this place. We have made it our weekly breakfast place. The staff is friendly and from the first day when we were there they have been so welcoming. I have special dietary needs and they have no problem changing things to try and fix me what I want, and it always tastes great.We Love This Place And Bring Friends!

OMG, the best cheeseburger Ive ever had! Ordered mine MR with raw red onions... perfect! Only thing I would do differently when forced to get it t go is not order the homemade potato chips. They get a little soggy with each mile driven. I still enjoyed most of them. BTW, I rarely eat any of the bun, but this one was lightly toasted and buttered. My plate was clean (as my mother would say).

We love everything about this place. Decor is all hot rod and muscle car stuff. Food is freshly made and excellent quality. The basic cheeseburger is top notch...freshly made buns, perfectly grilled meat, yum. Wraps, fries and patty melt likewise. I also had the pea salad which was great. The people who run the place are so friendly too. Well be back! Most highly recommended.

First time there and really enjoyed our sandwiches. Quality ingredients and cooked right. I had the Reuben w/greens and my husband had the bacon cheeseburger w/fries. Friendly, efficient staff. We will definitely be back when out that way.

Their burgers are absolutely delicious. Made fresh to order. Service was extremely friendly. Definitely a must have on our rotations of restaurants. A must visit if you like burgers. Way better than Five Guys or Red Robbin.
I stopped in with my family for a late lunch on our way to OBX this past August. The food was excellent, inexpensive, and we were treated like long time customers. My daughters loved the decor. Great place.

So my family and I went here, a little hole in the wall place and walked in and my face lit and so did my little boys, full of pictures of old nice cars. Such a cute ole time diner. With oldies tunes playing 🎶 excellent service and food all around. The waitress was so generous she even gave my baby a paper car he really wanted! Just awesome 👏

This was a bittersweet visit. We filled the restaurant today as we were there in honor of a dear friend who had passed away. BJ had such a love for all cars. The staff did such an amazing job taking care of all of us. Thank you

I love burgers. I ordered the bacon cheddar burger except I did 1/2lb rather than the 1/3lb patty. I also got a side of sweet potatoes fries extra crispy.The beef was delicious. You can tell it was a high grade. It was juicy and flavored beautifully. I didn’t even have to put extra bbq sauce on it like I do with other burgers.Definitely best burger in the area.
Great menu! Loved that breakfast is served all day. I got the Reuben and it was delicious. The owners and staff were extremely friendly. If youre a classic car junkie youll love the photos on the walls. The breakfast bar has been replaced with a smorgasbord plate full of food.

The food was good as well not a fan of the broccoli wasnt cooked long enough for me but everything else was great I will definitely return .... if you are ever in the great bridge Hickory section stop by and check them out oh P.S. make sure to try the hush puppies they are amazing

Good home cooked meal but 5 star pricing! Old strip mall restaurant, not fancy at all! Bill for my family of 7 came to $120. In comparison we can have peanuts, bread,, appetizer, salad and steak with a soda at Texas Roadhouse for under $100, we do it often. Wife and I decided to try Saturdays breakfast buffet, AWFUL! Tofu or turkey sausage? Food was cold from the time I put it on my plate to when I sat down. Whole Buffet was maybe 6ft long. Couldnt eat but half of what we served ourselves on our first plate and I had to spit the sausage out in my napkin. All done and cost $27 for 2 buffet, 1 milk, 1 coffee. $3 dollar tip and out $30 bucks with regrets of coming there for breakfast. My last trip there for sure!

My friend and I have been here twice now and the food is amazing!!! Lot of homemade items, breads, buns, and desserts....the Bay burger (hamburger with crab cake on top) was to die for!!! The food just melts in your mouth....he got the bacon cheeseburger and it is just overall so enjoyable...then we had to try dessert...the homemade banana pudding is the best!!!!

The staff is always pleasant and helpful, and the food is always good... my fiance really likes the crab cake sandwich, I go for the inside-out burger. Now, the IOB is a mess, and its really greasy.... but its amazing and worth the drive

Love this place, the family atmosphere is amazing and the food is absolutely fantastic, it isnt like any other fast food restaurants, and thats good because in most fast food restaurants, you can taste, Im not sure how to describe it other than this, a fake taste in their food. Here you will never taste that.

First time here, super friendly atmosphere.. Amazing food, ate the Hawaiian burger, probably the best burger iv ever had along with the amazing potato salad & Mac n cheese! Stuffed crab mushrooms and fried pickles have made a party in my mouth! So happy I stopped in !

Great food fast! Had the bbq plate and it was like home. Staff were fast and efficient, never had an empty glass. I enjoyed the decorations. The cafe is trickedvout in car photos from the restaurants hosted hot rod drive ins. I enjoyed. Not my first time there, but it will not be my last.
