I walked into this establishment with the idea that things were going to be secondhand and affordable. The staff was really friendly and attentive, did not have a problem at all with helping me find things, explanations and even suggestions. The only problem is the items inside the store are marked up tremendously almost to the point of original sales price. Expect to find some nice fines but definitely expect to have to make a stop at the bank before you go.

The store is amazing! Theres so much beautiful furniture, stoves, refrigerator and everything you need for a house and everything you need to fix on a house. The staff is so helpful and friendly, they make you feel lime you are part of their family. They work as a team and treat each other as a family member. The three young men that unload the truck and arrange the furniture are always so busy but if they notice you looking for help, they will stop and gladly assist. I tried to tip the two Afro American young men and they wouldnt let me buy them lunch. I bring my friends there from the city Southside and far north side to shop. Love this store and the staff!!!!

This South Chgo. Heights Habitat for Humanity is just SOOOOO disorganized. Everything is just sitting THERE!!!! Theres just a small hint that they tried to put some things in order but failed!!They also have history of accepting customers cash purchases but not being OPEN for the next available day for pick up. I have sat in my car at the Habitat parking lot with a lot of Very angry customers. Who couldnt get back into that store because there was NO staff there to open the doors.I myself continue to go there from time to time because I JUST may find something I can use. But you bet your bottom dollar Im taking my large items outta the door with me the same day. I got No time for games.OH and now they will not help you load up your larger merchandise nor will they provide you with a bag to carry out small items. So ladies bring your muscle with you to load up.This store is just not Right. The Joliet, Illinois store is OH So Much Nicer and Cleaner. But I previously could go to Chgo Heights and find a deal at that store but now not so often???

I purchased 3 bar stools 1 year ago at $20.00each . I go back to the store to purchase 2 more and the same chairs are $60.00 each. Explain to me how you mark items up 100% in 1 year?

They did not answer their phone after multiple attempts on different days and times. Their web site did not link to the correct page to schedule a donation pickup. When we dropped items the staff was not readily available to assist bringing it into the warehouse.

Decent variety of things here & lots of industrial tile to choose from. Mike is an absolute joy to talk to here! Wonderful man with a good heart, amazing sense of humor & an overall great outlook on life. The world needs more folks like him in it!!

Good deals on furniture, appliances are way overpriced even for dent and ding items. Fair to excellent prices for hardware. The cupboard (inventory)was a bit bare on my last visit.

Its really great to visit Restore and find such great things. They now carry EarthPaint, and other selections of high quality paint. I always buy my led light bulbs from them too. I was able to flip a condo with almost everything from ReStore. Paint, Light fixtures, appliances and decorations. It looked like I got everything new and saved me thousands. Plus they divert millions of tons of material from landfills.

The concept of recycling is a great one. As one might expect, the offerings are hit or miss. The reps were all helpful and courteous. If you visit on the right day, you could leave a very happy individual.

This place always has new used things to check out. I like vintage pieces, its nice to just look and so often take pieces home and restore them. This is a store for creative people.

Great customer service! They didnt have the bifold closet doors that I need. but, they were priced at a pretty good price! However the other stuff in the store was priced too high for me ...my opinion! They did have some mini cooler frigerators which were $20 a good price for those but the furniture and the piano and the ping pong table were priced too high. Oh I received a store credit. For the return. However, not able to use it in another store! I was not happy about that. I have a store creditI feel like I should be able to use it at any of the ReStore Habitat for Humanity stores.

Of all of the Restores in the region this has got to be the highest priced store of all of the locations with the least amount of offerings. When I was here previously, I overheard a customer speaking to the manager about how overpriced items were and the manager got loud and was stating that the items sold were going towards a good cause. I visited the store and the same $3 wooden desk that the Chicago Restore were selling weeks ago are being sold here for $25. The same windows that many restores received 4 or 5 months ago are selling for the same price when they were initially donated. The other 2 restores reduced their prices to sell them for $5. The walltile which is a vinyl wall covering I paid $15 per roll at a different restore is selling in here for $100. The windows are extremely expensive. This is the 3rd occasion that I have visited this location and most likely will be the last. Fox Valley, Chicago, Dupage, Merriville and Griffith are way better then this location. They are not able to turn over merchandise bc it is extremely expensive. Also on none of visits have I saw a daily sale nor a reduction of various color coded tags. This facility needs a new manager or to bc closed as it too expensive and is outline with their pricing.

This store has a good assortment. Before starting a home project, check this place first.

Their prices are too high they used to not be that high but theyre Under New Management and the lady who runs it says that everything is new when its obviously not when the items have damage to it she still be saying that theyre new this is not a place you should go to if you want a deal the price are to high you can go to a real store and get your item you want at less you know it new 300 and 400 is to high and then they taxes you high taxes on top of that
