Best deli around. Their chicken salad is better than home made and always fresh since everyone buys it up! They have a great selection of delicious hot entrees like sausage and peppers, meat loaf and stuffed cabbage rolls. Great for lunch or taking home for dinner.

It is a nice grocery store but today the fried chicken was extremely salty. So salty my family could barely eat it. I called to report it and they did absolutely nothing.

Where can I start about the problems since you ask? One of the problems is I have returned bad meat and bread. Your cashiers are not welcoming when customers walk in the store. If your items are not in the correct place and a customer ask for it for the price that the entire pile is in. Your store or cashiers will not honor that price. Your managers seem to show respect for all people accept your African American customers. Before I completed my review I shopped your store a few times before giving reviews. The reason why I didnt post this before because I was taught If you dont have nothing good to say. Dont say anything at all. At that time I had nothing good to say! Oh and what about when the Covid19 spread across the world you were selling cases of water for 8.00 a case.

They are the only ones that sell my favorite pickles, but the last couple times Ive gone they dont have them staff is very very very helpful.

They have great food and friendly service! Their Deli counter is the best! The Egg Salad and Chicken Salad are the best in the South Suburbs! They can be a little pricey but its better than walking around a giant box store to get a few items. Their produce section is also always stocked and fresh. If you are looking for quality and ease this is the best place.

Well for one, Im employed with this store and its a nice store to shop at for everything you needs and the owner has been serving and taking care of his customers for years and Ive had the pleasure to work with lovely employees and listen to some of the customers stories about their experience and history with the store.

Be careful shopping here for sales. They always advertise sales but when you check out the sale items do not ring up for the sale price. They always have to go check to make sure something is on sale. This has happened to me several times and it is beyond ridiculous.

I went in at 8am. All of the doors were open. I was greeted by two staff members. I proceeded to walk around and grab the 5 or 6 items that I needed, and went to the register. The manager than asked me how I got in the store. I told him that the doors opened when I approached. He told me that they were not open yet. I told him that neither of the two employees who greeted me mentioned anything about the store not being open. He responded by saying the cashier was not there yet, so I would not be able to check out. This was the manager...the manager told me to go put my items back and come back later. I bit my tongue and put my items back, but I will never step foot in that store again. I have never seen a manager turn away a paying customer...nor have I seen a manager that is unaware that his automatic doors are switched on and unlocked. Incredible.

Country Squire has been a landmark grocery in Chicago Heights for decades. Their meat, poultry and produce are fresh. They have good sales. Plus their deli is very good with a wide variety of meats, cheeses, salads, olives, etc. They have sustain when other grocery stores have closed. A great place to shop.

I find local hard to find products here and they have a great deli and meat department. Ciprianis spaghetti sauce, now called Sips Sauce, but still the same great taste.

The owner is very unprofessional. He treats his employees poorly. He over charges for his products. The store is just dirty and old. I would rather shop Wal-Mart or Jewel Osco over this store.

Honestly it’s been around for ages and they are much more welcoming then back when I was younger. I’m not sure if it’s under new ownership or not but it does serve as a quick stop if you don’t feel like going out of your way for certain items. They don’t have a huge selection though. I like the changes to staff seems like they’ve made progress because it used to be such rude or arrogant service but now the younger staff is a little more welcoming. I only stop here on urgent basis like if I’m out of Shells for tacos or need more ketchup. Not a good option for actual grocery shopping as their prices are inflated as heck. Overall it’s an okay spot. A lot of their stuff doesn’t seem fresh but they keep it clean and they do their best considering it’s a small almost historic little spot in the community.

The manager very rude, yealls to cashiers, and ignores people! Mr Jeff you need to change your attitude I understand people have there moments but you have your bad attitude 24/7 treat others like you would like to be treated! Including your cashiers

Employees are always nice, friendly and very helpful. Especially the deli employees. They are very patient when Im not sure what I want from behind the deli. Some of the grocery items are very pricing. But when items are on sale, the prices are pretty low.

I will give Country Squire Food Market another shot for my grocery needs. Prices were pretty good too. Their customer service is also great!

This is my go-to store for meat and deli; the small bakery also great for bread/rolls. Their produce dept has drastically improved over the last year and I find myself getting more and more with each visit.

Great local Butcher Shop, Deli, and Produce Store. Dont find them like this anymore. Walked in Saturday and got these awsome Strawberries only 2/$4 and a 5lb bag of Clementines for only $4.99!!!!

Okay, im just gonna say it. i will not purchase meat from this store again. the last two times that i did i had to to return it - first, ground pork, last was sausages. opened the packages and the stench almost blew me away. yuck. other products were good, though.

They used to be over priced, new owner new way of running things. I met him and he admitted to selling things at no benefit to him just to make sure things stayed in stock and make sure his customers can get what they need! Regular shopper here now where I didnt used to be.

I left my card at home and the store was closing soon but they allowed me and my baby to come back and get our items, after going back home. I am so thankful because we had just left the hospital and I really did not want to stand and cook anything.

Every dept was friendly and fully loaded. The meat dept had cuts I cant find at other stores. And you dont have to school the deli how to cut and stack the cheese. Thumbs up to the bakery for setting aside a dessert ive been looking for. Now were down to the checkout. I know they gonna screwup! And I be dam they can also bag... I ve been back to this store several times sincewith the experience 👍

Okay, so i had walked in the store other day very confused because i recently moved into town . A very kind, friendly, and humorous employee named Angel Horta helped me around the store . He showed me where everything was at and how to get throughout town !! I don’t know what he gets paid exactly, but i would for sure give him a raise !!!
