Awesome local comic and games shop. Owner is a super nice guy and very helpful. Has a great assortment of stuff spanning from action figures, graphic novels, comics, MTG cards and other collectibles. Also has a nice table setup with counters for MTG players to meet up and play.Cant recommend this neighborhood gem highly enough.

Located right on Milwaukee with plenty of parking, this comic book and hobby store has lots to offer. Understandably since the store is somewhat close to downtown some books and back issues are slightly expensive. New books are cover price and most back issues are $3 each The store is very unorganized, however if you enjoyed the search it is a fun way to spend an hour or two. Recommended for filling in a few books from your missing runs. They also do have a nice selection of toys and other memorabilia.

Spent money here monthly and missed a sale by 1 day. Instead of 50% best he could do was less than 10%. Never going back

A small but friendly hobby store. They have drafts and pre release events for mtg as well as a nice collection of rare cards. Friendly staff and a nice community.

Great selection of D&D books and marvel miniatures. I picked up Tashas Cauldron of Everything there recently and I would go back.

Since the start of cornavirus a friend of mine bought me some books I was missing cause the owner of this store decided to close which I understand and I am perfectly okay with. However, when I explained the situation to the owner he became upset with me and was trying to force me into to buying a comic I already have because my friend bought it for me. Once I told him I’m not buying the book that was in my pull list he threatened to not add any more books to my list unless I buy this issue. Furthermore, in the past I have missed out on certain issues because when I asked to add them to my pull list and the owner said he will do it he winded up forgetting. In those cases I would bite my tongue cause I don’t want to start any problems. Due to these issues I am no longer shopping there and would rather go some place farther than be treated this way.

This shop has a nice selection of new comics and back issues, as well as games and toys. The owner is super friendly and more than willing to help you find something, answer questions, and make recommendations. While Im not a gamer, there appears to be quite a few events to participate in, if thats your thing. Overall, this place has a chill, welcoming vibe.

I was working in the neighborhood just right down the street from this establishment. When I noticed that there was this comic book shop, So during a rain storm I decided to stop in and take a look. And to my eyes there were wall-to-wall comic books That would have taken me hours to go through A well mix of old and new more old, The owner was very friendly and without me even asking he brought down some of the best spider man books from the sixties that I have seen for sale in a long time....I will be making this trip again except this time with my daughter and my need list.You have to see this place definitely 2 thumbs up

Ive shopped here a bunch and usually walk out with some fun, new toy to play with. Great local game store full of nerdy delight! Has a lot to offer if youre looking for new games, comics, miniatures, cards, or a gift for a friend. Highly recommend checking it out.

I go here for the disorganized mayhem and hidden gems. The owner at this establishment watched me dig through back issue bins for over two hours. Found a handful of books I was looking for that were all clearly priced. Brought them to the counter just to have the owner tell me everything I picked was more expensive and/or not for sale. A better business practice might be to keep track of your inventory or clearly mark things that are not for sale. I won’t be back.

Finally!! A comic shop that GETS IT. Friendly, knowledgeable owner who cares about his customers. Eager to introduce new readers to comics, stocks a variety of titles and many choice back issues. Great toys and collectibles. Fair prices. And YES he has Cathair Apocalypse!!

Great store. I used to go to DND hear a couple years ago and I had a great time! The owner is a friendly, cool guy. This is the type of store where the owner will know and his recognize regulars and that was awesome to me. Just a cool place with a good astmosphere!

This place is fantastic- they always have an awesome selection of new and vintage comics- plus they carry some really unique graphic novels that exist outside of the comic realm. In addition, the owner is great- hes funny and always willing to give some choice recommendations!

Great Old Skool Comic Shop ... A comic shop with a true back issue selection. Wish it was little easier to navigate the back issues but overall a great shop.

Great collection of figures and comic, sci-fi, and fantasy memorabilia. The new comic section was a little lacking, but the amount of back issues was impressive.

We stopped in on Saturday to check the place out and everybody was great. Comic selection and tabletop selection were both nice.
