I can not express how happy I am with the whole experience I had at Glamour Closet. The staff was phenomenal and made the experience amazing (I tried dresses on at other places and did not have the experience I did here). Plenty of dresses to choose from and the staff didnt rush me at all. Went there at 1pm on a Saturday and didnt have to wait.

Definitely plan a trip to Glamour Closet when you are dress hunting! Youll find a little bit of everything and can try on styles you wouldnt normally choose. This is the first place I went, ahead of appointments set around the city, and I found a Pronovias dress, unbelievably marked down. I ended up buying it on the spot (the fourth dress I tried on!). Just remember, if you fall in love you will feel pressure to buy right away, or your dress may be gone when you go back!

SO many options. I had a budget of $1,400 and had no trouble finding dresses in my budget. Lisa was so friendly and helpful. The wait wasnt bad AT ALL. I was so prepared to wait in line, but it was 5 minutes on a Saturday afternoon. Ended up finding the dress of my dreams for... $800!!!

Lisa and Kate were so helpful and encouraging. Dress shopping has been a disaster for me since my wedding is very close. But the dresses at glamour closet made me feel more hopeful when. I loved every dress I’ve tried on compared to every where else. Thanks Lisa and Kate for your help!!

While I did not find my dress here, the experience was wonderful! Walk-in appointment, quick check on, browsed for dresses on my own but then my stylist also pulled a few! Huge selection and great prices.

Got my dress here! This place is very laid back which was totally my style. Its a sample dress place so the dresses arent new but not used. Lots of different dresses here to try on and its a first come first serve basis. My consultant was Kristina and she was fantastic! Very knowledgeable about the dresses and very helpful with some other choices. She made the experience totally great and lots of fun too! Dresses range from $600- $6000 so you could find some good deals here.

Absolutely say yes to Glamour Closet for your wedding dress search! I visited a variety of stores (David’s Bridal, BHLDN, Mira Couture, Bella Bleu) prior to my visit, but hadn’t found anything that I really loved or felt unique enough to me. From the get-go the experience I had at GC was fantastic- personable staff (Kate was the best!), Covid protocols in place, a large selection of dresses, and the ability to actually comb the racks myself and pick out what I wanted to try on. I didn’t feel pressured to try anything that didn’t speak to me, which I really appreciated. I walked out the door the same day with a beautiful Carolina Herrera dress (worth 10k) for 2500! It doesn’t get any better than that!Tip: The store opens at 11 on weekends and is on a first come first serve basis (max of 2 brides with 1 guest each). Get there around 10:30/10:45 to beat the crowds.

Although I didnt find my dress here, I had a great experience. I got lucky because nobody was there when I arrived so I had the place to myself and the friends I brought with me. The staff was very friendly. Theres only one viewing area so if other people are there, it may not be the place for you if youre looking for a more private and personalized experience. This is a great place to look first before going to an expensive boutique and paying more!

Make Glamour Closet a stop!!! Unbelievable experience. I came here on recommendation from two of my friends that bought their gowns at the store. I had Erica help me out and she is THE BEST!!! She made the experience so much better, she has great style, is super honest and will help you with coming to a decision. She picked some beautiful accessories and veil I ended up buying too! Overall the store has beautiful gowns for unbeatable prices and the best part is that you don’t have to wait 6-8months to receive it.

Bought my dress here in Nov for a June wedding. Felt pressured by the sales person, Michelle, to buy it on the spot because she kept saying I was late. WARNING FOR BRIDES: dont be fooled by the way they clip your dress. I bought an a-line style dress after being told tailors can easily convert it to mermaid. They cant. Now I regret my purchase because the alteration shop cant do it. Money wasted.

I loved my experience bridal shopping at Glamour Closet! I didnt end up selecting a dress here but the staff was extremely accommodating to my large group and schedule. Thank you Glamour Closet! Me and my crew of four arrived on a Saturday morning before they opened. There was one other person waiting - we got right in at 10am and were assigned a stylist, Michelle. They gave us colored clips to mark the dresses that I wanted to try on and we had a great time picking out dresses. We were never rushed, or pressured and Michelle and the rest of the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Michelle has a talent for making you feel extremely comfortable as she helps you try on gowns and comes up with creative ideas to accessorize the dresses. She was awesome and so was the manager Christina! There was one other person who was fun and friendly as well but I didnt catch his name. Wonderful experience, fun professional staff! I highly recommend :)

My daughter found her perfect designer dress at Glamour Closet! This salon is so underrated and is a hidden gem! We expected a disorganized, free-for-all atmosphere. We were so wrong! The gowns were beautiful, well organized and clean. They were in wonderful condition, not needing repairs and dirty like other places we had gone. The staff was so helpful, joyful and knowledgeable! We never felt rushed and were given individual attention. Yes, your bride shares the stage and mirrors with other brides, but we never felt slighted or crowded. My daughter tried on many gowns and after 3 hours of fun, laughter and tears we walked out with her wedding dress in hand! Such a memorable happy experience. Thank you so much, Victoria, for your patience and bright smile! You were so awesome!

I cannot say enough great things about this place. It was my goal to find something off the rack and this was the place to go. (I had tried a handful of other stores and boutiques, with no luck.) My best friend and I went mid-morning on a weekday and were seen almost right away. Even though they are sample dresses, the people that work there handle them with care and consideration. Jasmyn was AMAZING. She listened to what I was looking for and made some good recommendations to start with. After I started trying on dresses, she brought me a dress that she thought I would like - and it ended up being the one! So amazing! Before I left, she gave me some cleaner recommendations around where I live (Im not local.) I could not have been happier with my experience at Glamour Closet.

Went out to have a first look at wedding dresses and was a little intimidated by the thought of trying on these huge dresses. But when we walked in Jasmyn managed to make me feel good right from the start. She knew exactly what I‘d like and helped my pick out the most beautiful dresses. It was a very good experience, and I can only recommend it.

The whole team at Glamour Closet is amazing! They were helpful, patient and never made me feel pressured to purchase a dress. I had an unusual experience where another bride-to-be asked me to hurry up. After the staff witnessed what happened, they were extremely kind, apologetic (even though it wasnt their fault) and encouraged me to take my time. Although I didnt purchase my dress here, Glamour Closet made me feel comfortable and provided outstanding service. I highly recommend shopping here as the team is knowledgeable and understanding and they have a beautiful selection of affordable designer dresses.

I had the most wonderful experience here with Lindsey that I felt compelled to share. I had actually already purchased a dress elsewhere and just wasnt loving it anymore, so I went to Glamour Closet since I didnt have time to order a new one. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, they asked what I was looking for, and then explained how their store was organized by dress style. I like how they then let me browse the store by myself and select the dresses I wanted to try on. With each dress I tried on, Lindsey made sure I was constantly comparing it to the dress I previously purchased which I thought was very considerate of her. I was there by myself, so she offered to take a ton of pictures for me of the front, back, with a veil, with a belt, everything! And she was not reluctant to let me try on the next dress and do it all over again. After I had tried on a few dresses that I liked, she then suggested that I sit down and look at the pictures, call my mom, etc. She left me alone and I probably sat there for about 30 minutes and not once did she seem bothered that I was taking so long. She reiterated that she knew it was a big decision, especially when I was trying to find a dress to top my first, and I really appreciated her giving me that time. We ended up facetiming my mom, and again Lindsey was so quick to offer to hold the phone and show my mom the dress. I never once felt pressured to make a purchase right then, but with these gowns, you run the risk of them not being there anymore if you walk away. Thanks to Lindsey giving me that extra time to think about my options, I ended up purchasing a dress that not only topped my first dress, but makes me so incredibly excited to get married in. I suggest going on a day when they are not extremely busy to ensure you get treated with the same respect, because I was so pleased with my experience!

Scene: Friday night panicking 3 weeks before my wedding. My dress doesnt fit. My amazing peeps jump into action and Saturday morning we drive from Milwaukee to here.THEY SAVED MY SANITY. People should try here first. Beautiful dresses, wonderful staff.

This place is great! You can walk in and leave with your dress the same day. I spent less than half of what I expected to pay. colleen was GREAT. She was not pushy like other stores I been to. She was so helpful and made my experience great. Which I cant say for other stores. It is small but when I was their we were the only ones so it was perfect!

We walked in and started looking around and no one greeted us which is fine but then they just started yelling at us for pulling dresses off the rack to look at them. Then they explained their process asked us to sign in and said it would be a wait. After looking around and picking our dresses, we went to get coffee and they said they would call me when it was my turn. And hour and a half later I walk back in and they threw my ticket away and had No intention of calling me. They then rushed me through all my dress and the consultant tripped me when trying to take my dress off instead of spending the time with me. I get you’re busy but take the time with the person you are with. On top of that she kept leaving the curtain open when I’m changing. When my family and friend were looking at my dress I had on she rushed me again and said okay I can tell you don’t like it next one. Can I get a minute to decide?! I was super disappointed with my visit and thought the staff was very unprofessional. I would never buy from them and wouldn’t recommend going if you want to be treated with respect and have your fair share of time.

What a cool concept! Each dress is unique and they only have one of them. You buy it off the rack and come home with it. Many brides found their dress while there as it is deeply discounted groin what a dress is regularly! The staff is kind and very helpful! They are very motivated to help you find your perfect dress! I would definitely recommend to check it out!

Although I did not end up purchasing my dress from Glamour Closet, I wanted to leave a review for the amazing help that Darrius provided! He called me to follow-up with me, welcomed my mom with a hug when she came back with me for my second visit, and was truly a great person to work with!

Many beautiful gowns, the staff gives you Clips to put on the hanger of the gowns you want to try on. The pricing is very straightforward and on the tags of all the gowns so you know what is in your range. I did not find the dress here and I feel partially because the girl helping g me was very pushy saleswise, otherwise I may have felt more inclined to look at a few more dresses.

I had such a great experience at Glamor Closet! Nicole helped me and was very friendly and did a great job listening to what I wanted and making suggestions. I wanted to go to lunch and consider my options and they let me come back and try my favorite dress on again! Michelle was very sweet and helpful when I tried the dress on the second time. There were so many beautiful dresses to try on and the girls went out of their way to make me feel special. The ordering process was simple and stress-free as well! It fit me almost perfectly straight off the rack which is so rare, especially in a sample sale dress shop. Most of the sizes are 10 or 12, but by chance this dress was a 6! It was the exact designer I had dreamt about too- Pronovias.Nicole would later tell me that from the minute I tried the dress on, she knew that it was the one and couldnt picture any other bride in it.Overall a great experience. I love this place. This was actually the first place I went to look for a wedding dress. The woman who helped me was very friendly. I told her what I was looking for and my budget and she picked out a dress for me that I wouldnt have picked out myself, but I tried it on anyhow and Im glad I did. I felt great in it and I ended up with a dress that is truly beautiful and unique. They gave me a 50$ gift card towards alterations and gave me three different, ranked recommendations for tailors in the area. I didnt even have to make an appointment. You just look at the racks of dresses, arranged by silhouette and mark the dresses you want to try on with a clip and someone helps you get in and out of the dresses. I got a lot of personalized attention. I cant say enough nice things about the store and the woman who helped me (I wish I remembered her name!). The saleswoman also gave me a great recommendation for a florist, who I will probably end up using for my wedding!

If I could give a zero I would! We came here today after not finding “the one” at Alice in lace (witch was an amazing store and experience!) However, when we got here we started looking at dresses and then had to wait an hour just to try them on. they said “we only have two people available for fittings” however they’re were way more then two people. After waiting an hour to try on a dress I LOVED that was sitting in the window, the lady who was helping me helped me in the dress ! Well the dress was really tight in my hips however the dress zipped all the way but it was tight. After the lady looking at me tells me that “I need to loose weight, and eat healthier” she told me this about 3 times while trying to get my hips in! I continued to tell her I’m already dieting and working out and lost 10 pounds however she just kept saying eat healthier. After this I was just done and ready to go. However I did say yes to the dress even though I didn’t want to because of the comments that where made. . So if you want my opinion, go to check out the huge Collection of dresses, but I wouldn’t refer a friend.

I came twice to find my dress, the first time was suppose to be to just find a style and then I was going to go back with my parents and sister to find THE DRESS. That did not happen I found my dress on the first go and with Darriuss help I brought my dress back to the store to have my family help me find a dress a few weeks later. Darrius was amazing to work with and made me feel comfortable and beautiful in everything I tried on.

I went on a Wednesday night and we were the only group there. We worked with Darrius who was very helpful and encouraging. He was honest and so easy to be around. I wish we could have only seen dresses in my price range.

I went to the once a year sale in Chicago and not only found my dressed but was blown away by the staff and how truly wonderful they were. On this day, nothing is organized in any fashion, the staff is there more to put dresses back, so I preface with the fact that this is not a normal dress shopping experience. The manager was beyond kind and informative- he gave a rules run down and gave us a know-to for how to navigate everything. The staff cheered as you entered and were beyond willing to start a pile for you and point you in the right direction. We were mainly helped by Victoria who was taking away any gowns that were a no. She was patient, sweet, and honest with us and for that I loved her!! Would highly recommend this place even on their crazy sale day, so I can only imagine how fantastic they are the rest of the year!!

Wow!!! I am in shock at how rudely we were just treated at this bridal shop. Michelle and Lindsay please take a refresher course on customer service and how to treat people in general. I also must say your gowns are rather dirty. Sorry but Im not paying that much money to be treated rudely, and definitely not spending that much on a dirty floor sample.

Found the Dress! After trying on many dresses and styles, my daughter was able to narrow down what she really wanted and found her dress at Glamour Closet.Judy was very helpful and we were confident enough that it was the right dress to purchase later the same day over the phone. It helps my daughter is an average small size, so she had many options. I would highly recommend to kinda have an idea what you want before visiting because you can run the risk your dress may be bought before you get back. The price was amazing too! All the employees were very kind and helpful as well when we returned to pick up the dress. I would highly recommend this sample dress store. We were very happy with our experience.

My sister found this place for me and I personally loved it and found the one here. Jasmyn was super helpful and listened to what I wanted in a dress, which no other place had done. Everywhere else I had gone wanted me to wear a ball gown, bc of my size, but when I arrived here they had a big selection of the type of dress I wanted and the stylist definitely gave me peace of mind with each dress and didn’t make me feel like I had to settle for a dress bc of my body. LOVED THIS PLACE! Definitely recommend. We went on midday Sunday and there wasn’t a lot of traffic so it gave us the ability to look with calm and no rush.

They said yes, that they had tons of things for her. She gets there, tells the salesperson she is looking for size 18, and (wait for it), the salesperson says OH! We dont have anything THAT big.Yes, that actually happened.My friend promptly went outside and cried in her car. I am furious. I will NEVER shop here, and I will make sure that people I know who plan to shop here are told this story.I dont have the name of the salesperson, but if I did, I would call and request that she be fired.

I found my second wedding dress but absolutely in love with the attention, they where very patient and helpful I found the Morilee for 1/2 of the original price!

TIFFANY IS THE BEST! Not only is she the best at Glamour Closet, but she is the best bridal consultant I worked with during my excursions to find my gown.I had scheduled three appointments for a Saturday in June. We started at Weddings 826 (see review) and then went to BHLDN (see review) and then finished at Glamour Closet. Best choice ever. I had one other gown for the day that I was pretty sold on, however the dress I ended up buying at Glamour Closet blew it out of the water.Tiffany was very helpful, extremely friendly, and put my mind at ease. I was a little overwhelmed when I walked it but it was fabulous. There were 4 racks of gowns in my size (not a small girl!) and all were wonderful choices. Lots of variety. I easily found 10 to try on.Tiffany was wonderful in the dressing room. She helped me into everything. Knew how to get it right to show you what it would look like after alterations and knew the gowns well. The gown I chose is perfect and it was a bargain!I can not thank Tiffany enough for her expertise and help.

Im not a bride bride kind of gal. I have not dreamed of my dress so I had no where to start. After a few frustrating appointments around town, I met Nicole at Glamour Closet who finally made an appointment fun and we played with different styles and silhouettes.I didnt have a say yes to the dress moment in the store, and actually ended up going home to think about it and then ordering it on the phone with Nicole. When I came to pick it up, she was amazing and let me put it on and I had that special amazing moment with my mom. Then she helped us with a veil as well. Everything was just about low pressure, and I wish I had only shopped there!Thank you Glamour Closet for giving me the opportunity to find this dress and feel so special even though I didnt know exactly what I was looking for.

I am so happy I found this place! Prior to coming to Glamour Closet, I was having no luck finding my wedding dress and honestly thought I was just going to have to settle. I stumbled upon this place and went on a Sunday with two girlfriends. Given that they dont make appointments, I was worried that I wouldnt have a stylist (go at an off time if possible!) There was only one other bride in there when I went in and I loved the friendly and relaxed feel. Unlike other places, I did not feel rushed at all. Jasmyn was my stylist and she was had such an encouraging, warm, and bubbly personality! I instantly felt like myself around her. She encouraged me to try on extra dresses that I had automatically crossed off my list (i.e., strapless) to make sure that I truly knew what I did and didnt want. When I found my dress, Jasmyn and my friends faces lit up and I was wondering sold. Thanks Jasmine for helping make my day so special!!

Could I give this place 50 stars???? 5 is definitely not enough!First off, I have never written any sort of review online - ever. However, I had such a wonderful experience, I had to!!!! I am from Milwaukee and was down in Chicago just for a fun weekend. My mom and I literally walked by, saw dresses, and decided to pop in! I have been totally putting off buying a dress because I have not reached my goal weight yet, and feel self conscious. From the moment we walked in, I just knew I was going to find my dress- regardless of my insecurities. After trying on a few, I knew I had found it. Also, to save on sales tax, we shipped it directly to Milwaukee for $100! This was way less than what we would have paid in tax so I was thrilled!!!! Overall, regardless of your size or how self conscious you are....TRY GLAMOUR CLOSET out. My consultant Michelle ( short, tan, had long dark hair) was the cutest little thing ever!!!!! Absolutely loved her!!!! Dont write this place off due to some of the really negative reviews. Try it for yourself and dont let anyone elses experience sway you. I am SO SO SO happy I found the dress, enjoyed the process, and saved major $$$. WIN, WIN, WIN!

Meh...this place was nothing special. Yes of course you wont feel as special here as a place where you have an appointment, but the shop looks nice. However the dresses were a disappointment, and honestly were still really expensive (but not name brands). Most of them are not in style. I wouldnt recommend.

This place had a great selection, but the sales staff lied about the price of a dress. She said the dress was $2800, but that she could come down to $2400 for us. When we called later to purchase it she said it was $2800 and that she never said that. I feel sad.

I visited Glamour Closet to do my due diligence to look at more wedding gowns before I purchased one elsewhere (or so I thought). I had an amazing experience with Lindsey, my consultant. I found a gown I loved that had a few areas of damage to the lace. She did not pressure me to leave the dressing room or to make a rushed purchase. She let me stay in the gown until I got through to my family on the East Coast and then took pictures of the damaged lace and spoke directly to the dress alterationist to get confirmation it could all be fixed. Everyone was friendly, honest and supportive. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and happy about my decision. It could not have been a better experience and I walked away with the gown of my dreams!

I had an amazing time at Glamour Closet, and would definitely recommend this place, and Arica specifically! My mom and I walked in on a Sunday afternoon and were helped right away. This was my first time trying on wedding gowns. Arica explained how everything worked, and made me feel *so* comfortable and informed during the fittings. She was super patient and encouraging, with good advice, so by the time I left I felt like Id narrowed down what I like, and learned what to look for. I will definitely come back closer to the date when Im ready to commit! Overall an excellent first experience.

If youre looking for a wedding dress for a good price, Glamour Closet is a great place to check out. The dresses are samples and are sold as-is and final sale. They carry brands like Vera Wang, Lela Rose, Monique Lhullier, Carolina Herrara, etc. The manager and the salesperson waiting on me were very nice and helpful. I didnt find the one in my first visit, but I plan on coming back.Tip: They get in new dresses all the time. Check back frequently.

What a horrid place. The saleslady, Michelle, was insulting, the selection was limited, especially if you are above a size 5, you must scavage through the gowns to find a dress, and the dresses were in awful condition. Dresses were all bunched together, snagging on beads, zippers and belts. It would cost more to fix the dress than to just make one yourself. This place is a waste of time. Horrible dresses and even worse service. Dont waste your time!

They purposely hid the condition of the dress from my sister. In the excitement of trying on wedding dresses, and billowing sheets of silk taffeta, we didnt think to do a full body interior and exterior inspection. After purchasing the dress (for more than $3K) we brought it home, unzipped it, and were surprised to find BLOOD on the lining and broken zippers. She loves the dress but doesnt want to wear someone elses blood on her wedding day! She called them to let them know and they were completely rude to her. Dream dresses. Nightmare customer service and customer care.

Rude staff. Staff made demeaning comments about my bride and didnt acknowledge, or greet me.We were very friendly and just excited to be looking at dresses. We werent impressed by the dresses (many appear to be slightly blemished, or otherwise dirty), and the staffs comments regarding my bride not properly knowing what size she should be made us run out of the store only minutes after we got there...Would suggest avoiding at all costs.

This is the best place to go if you are looking for a high-end wedding gown at a fair price. All of the dresses are samples, so what you see is what you get and all the sales are final. They dont take appointments, so it is best to go at an off time during the week or first thing in the morning on the weekends. The staff was beyond helpful and not pushy. I dont write reviews often but I flew into my hometown to go wedding dress shopping with my family this past weekend. This place was my second stop and I immediately fell in love! I was so worried about my budget that I fibbed a bit and said it was $2k just because I didnt want to be looked down upon with a budget of $1000-1200 TOPS! When I say Krystina was a GOD send I mean it! She helped me and clipped me in each dress. Made me feel beautiful in every single one. She then went a head and picked a few out for me that I wouldve NEVER picked for myself and when I say she found my dress! SHE FOUND IT! I didnt want to take it off. It makes my skin glow and it has POCKETS! Its like she knew me better than I knew myself! Even when my family and friends werent sure if they liked it she kept encouraging to go with what I wanted. I LOVE the dress! When I told her 2k was the budget she smiled and said we can find you 2 dresses for that budget and she NEVER brought me a dress that was out of my price range. I purchased my dress for $999 and paid $75 to have it shipped which was cheaper than expected as having it shipped I didnt have to pay Chicago taxes!!!! Krystina is a rockstar and I recommend her to ever bride on a budget and/or with a very opinionated family! I just love how she made me feel like a true bride! It was an amazing experience I will never forget and I cant thank her enough! Im literally in tears as I type this because I found my dress all due to her! I knew ball gown but she pulled this blush ballgown that changed my life! I LOVE IT!THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH!

Fabulous staff who really listen to what you want or need.

Overpriced dresses and unfriendly staff. I know that these are designer dresses, but we could only find a few under $1000. A lot of the dresses had stains and very large snags, and were still being sold for $1500+! The woman who was our stylist was not helpful in finding other options, and actually told me she didnt have anything else for me. To me that is bad sales, you want your company to make money... Put me in a bunch of dresses until I find the right one. I would not recommend this store to friends and family.
