Terrible hours. I used to come here in the evenings to get a coffee and a snack and do work. In Milwaukee it was my go-to late night spot to study in college. The people that work here are cool but the hours are terrible. There were always a lot of people here in the evenings.
Last Friday afternoon, I tried your coffee and was pleasantly surprised by the flavor, which made me want to order it again and again. Their employees were also extremely courteous and competent. I am able to talk freely with them. What a pleasant city service! This coffee shop will undoubtedly be visited again and again!
Good coffee and the outdoor seating area was nice. 4 stars because it seems every parent in Logan brings their dumb kids here
I’m new to the neighborhood and wasn’t sure what to expect. Seating space was excellent! Sat for a couple hours and got a bunch of work done. Ordered the iced lavender green tea (lightly sweetened) and I loved it. Would totally order it again. I’m looking forward to returning to try one of their baked goods. Last thought - I was also really impressed that the barista learned my name on my first visit there.
Collectivo does not recycle, unlike Starbucks or almost any other decent coffeehouse.Endless plastic cups going into landfill or the ocean. Absolutely disgraceful really.
Delicious food, clean space, friendly staff that know their stuff, brews on tap and spot by the fire pit on a chilly day if you’re into that type of thing. Otherwise grab a bar stool and people watch while you catch up with a mate over a bite of something tasty.
The mocha drink I had was really good as as the kids cheese melt. Only reason I gave 2 stars is because there were bugs crawling all over the baked goods in the glass case.
Yummy vegetarian breakfast burrito & delish London fog.
As coffee lovers my SO and I enjoys coffee hopping around the city and Colectivo coffee has been one of our favorite spots.. We got a B1G1 for pastry together with our coffee which we enjoyed the place had a eclectic and family uniqueness to it giving it the Colectivo feel. This a great spot to just get good coffee and have quite time/ conversation.
Interesting eclectic neighborhood. Somewhat sterile looking building that they’ve nicely built in. Good service. Lots of local customers. The coffee is over roasted: Peet’s style versus third wave.
Best blueberry muffin this side of the old Mississippi!
This place has some very delicious coffee and right in the middle of the action in Logan Square. Such a great vibe and designed very well. Lots of outdoor seating on Milwaukee
They have good coffee. Prices arent bad for the neighborhood.
This place has great staff and many menu optionsThe portion sizes are quite small. Pictured is the baja bowl, tasty but not quite filling. The turmeric chai latte was too sweet for me but the other day I got an iced dirty chai and it was spectacular. The atmosphere here is really fun and I do recommend this as a spot to catch up with a friend.
This place has a nice vibe and atmosphere- its unfortunate, I was advised the maximum time allowed eating in is one hour. I had the Bacon, Egg and Cheese English muffin and it was fantastic! I also had a black coffee, which was a little disappointing to drink considering all the sugar was sitting at the bottom of the cup. Overall, this place was aesthetically pleasing and the staff were friendly- Id definitely love to see a little more variety in terms of menu options!
I used to live in Milwaukee and go to Colectivo all the time. I was thrilled to see one in Chicago now that Ive moved! The quality is always top notch, staff is always friendly. The coffee is delicious, and the seasonal choices are stellar. I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast sandwich. If you are in Login Square you should definitely stop in.
Coffee is good, but wait is like 20 minutes on a Friday at 9am. Only 1 person making coffees. Need more staff.
This coffee shop was suggested by a friend from college whose son goes to school in the city. Were so happy she did it. A specialty coffee and either biscotti or a cookie were enjoyed by each of us. We are impressed at how well their order pickup process works and not much waiting space, but the crowdedness is a sign of their successful business. Were probably going back here!
Super cute indoors and out, and all the staff took excellent covid protections. They have beautiful handmade baked goods and a vegan/gluten free mint chocolate chip cookie sandwich when i visited, which was delicious (lol and ate before i could get a photo 😂). Awesome spot for classic coffee and fun tea drinks that taste way better than Starbucks.
Always great coffee and service. Nice outdoor space and easy pickup options.
Great coffee, great staff. I ordered a breakfast burrito and they cut it in half like a PB&J. Never seen it done like that.
Great coffee. I walk past two other coffee shops to get to it - refer this place
Food and coffee are pretty good, but they won’t take pick-up orders over the phone - I was told to download the app. I’m from out of town and don’t want to use data to download an app that I will use once.
My favorite Wisconsin coffeehouse finally comes to Logan Square! Finally stopped in at 1030 on a Saturday morning. They were busy but not crowded. There seemed to be 5 or 6 baristas that were scrambling to keep up with orders. There was a pile up of people and waiting drinks at the pick-up. They misplaced my friends coffee for 11 minutes.Despite the wait, the drinks were delicious. A black and tan pour over was great, despite being cool from sitting out on the counter for 10 minutes. The marsala chai was fantastic.Come for the good coffee, not fast or efficient service.
The coffee is always good, the snacks are always delicious, and Ryan is always a friendly face. Whats not to love? Also, I support their unionization efforts.
So good coffee and great atmosphere
I really love this place, mainly because of the aesthetic and outdoor seating. Wooden loveseats and solid stones surround a fireplace that stays lit day and night.Good amount of indoor seating for 1-4 people, anything beyond that I would recommend moving outside to laze around. The table and chair height is just right, something most cafes seem to struggle with. Makes for a great study environment.Service was friendly and informative, of course. I just got the ice coffee and cranberry pumpkin muffin, but am definitely going to return to try out their food items.
I love this place. It is affordable (wouldnt say cheap because its good quality), they have great service and awesome coffee and pastries. The coffee mugs they sell are awesome. So many great things. They have an awesome fire outside when it gets cold ( Picture included) as well. Cant go wrong with this Coffee Shop.
Good food and drinks and super convenient for me but I have cognitive dissonance when I spend money here due to the politics of the owners of this company. Sounds like they are trying to block their employees from forming a union, too. Would rather support small businesses.
An eclectic spot right off the California Blue Line. Collectivo serves breakfast all day and has an amazing lunch menu as well. They have all sorts of coffee drinks including Matcha Latte (pictured) and several Pour Over options. The staff is very helpful, and is always ready to answer questions, and dont make you feel like a rookie when asking. I went to Collectivo once, on a Saturday and now go at least 5 times a week.
Delicious options with wonderful pup-loving staff! This is our neighborhood go-to to take a stroll with our pup and grab a coffee. Staff is knowledgeable and kind. They also have great food options whether your feeling like staying on the healthy side or need something to cure your hangover.Comfy atmosphere to do work or meet with friends. Love this place!
To the staff who made my order on 2/02... THANK YOU!! Coffee was strong and good, would give a 10/10 but the stars only go up to 5/5.
Really great place. They have some different coffee drinks and really great food. Everything seems very thoughtful. Decor is casual and colorful. The baristas and other stuff are always nice and very helpful. Ive never had a problem finding a place to sit or going outlets when working.
Love this coffee shop and love the food, but they consistently get my food order wrong. Doh! Id love to keep supporting them though!
This has to be one if the greatest coffee shops in the Logan Square. My wife and I frequent Colectivo and have enjoyed all their offerings! Looking for a nice place to study? Enjoy well-crafted beers? Hungry for some of the best pastries in the city? Colectivo is for you.
The nitro cold brew was great. They have a very nice outdoor area.
Very good cold brew good service friendly staff would definitely go back. They have biodegradable straws and the cups are also made of recycled materials
Coffee was great, the wait for it for a few minutes to long for me.
I go here sometimes to work. The food is good. Also they have a nice-ish outdoor area with a fire pit. If I had a dog I would go here.
Food is great but coffee is too expensive for such a small size. It’s a hit or mit with service. After purchasing a pastry they didn’t offer to heat it up. I went back to my seat and within a minute of purchasing and without taking a bite, I came back to ask them to heat it up and they told me it would be a health violation since I had already taken it. I would’ve appreciated if they asked to heat it up first........
My every morning stop while in Chicago. Just a short ride on the L, jump off at California and enjoy an amazing cup of coffee (or tea if thats your thing). The food and pastries are outstanding as well. A must stop while visiting the Great city of Chicago.
Hands down my favorite summer work space. I love the patio seating and the open, breezy bar seating by the windows. Perfect combo of sunshine and cool indoor air! Oh, and the coffee’s good too ;)
Covid safety measures in place and products exceedingly good. Will continue to return.
Great coffee! Very good breakfast food too. I like the Southwest Breakfast Burrito
Wonderful atmosphere, spacious indoor seating and lots of patio seating. Street parking but I have always been able to snag a spot without an issue. Friendly staff. 4 stars for pricey food for small portions. Coffee is good, but not my preference. What I do recommend is the matcha latte with lavender syrup! Its subtle and sweet, love it!
Collectivo is great. Good coffee. Good food. Free Wifi. Good people watching. Logan park location is smaller than Wicker Park, but still great.
Milwaukee chain for coffee, pastries, breakfast and sandwiches. Decent coffee. Cool outdoor space. Friendly staff. Beer on tap.Seating can be tough as it quickly fills up with laptop warriors/campers from the glass boxes in the sky that surround this location.
Great cafe that doesnt cost an arm and a leg. Can get a light breakfast (which tastes fantastic by the way) and a great Latte for just about $10. Definitely my favorite cafe in the Logan/Palmer square area.
Nice place to chat and drink coffee. beautiful place, great service and really really good coffee! One of the best places I have visited for coffee in the past months.
Try adding smoked salmon to the pesto mozzarella sandwich. Amazing. Best Matcha Latte in the city. Amazing. Beer and an out door fire pit. Amazing. Love this place.
So much better than your typical chain brand. Everything is delicious, people are totally chill, nice indie vibe, and the staff is super friendly. This is definitely in my top 3 places to go for coffee!
I absolutely love their green shake! It is amazing, probably better than the coffee!
The coffee and everything bagels were very good, and the prices were very reasonable, but the only seating was outside and--surprise, surprise--it was rather windy, so keeping things from blowing away was a distracting challenge.
Excellent place to have fun or do homework or some work things online!
A pleasant environment with a good view of Milwaukee Avenue and plenty of seating. I had a nice espresso, and will likely try one if the coffee-inspired beers next visit.
Great coffee, great ambiance, great selection of food. Not too crowded or loud. Good music.
Nice space with friendly staff and many choices. Great espresso
Fantastic location. I would recommend for both a social spot as well as a place to get work done. I have never had difficulty finding a place to sit either. Not to mention, their product is fantastic.
Great coffee, baked goods and sandwiches. Bonus points for being one of the only coffee shops in the neighborhood with a spacious seating area.
This place is great. Not only is their coffee wonderful, but their baked oatmeal (with coconut milk) is an absolute delicacy! Highly recommended!!!
Grabbed coffee here a couple of times. The coffee of the day was really good but the Americani suffered from too much water to espresso, which is a common problem with most places that serves Americanos. They also have their own beer, which Im going to have to try one of these days.
Cool vibe, colorful space, nice people. The coffee is pretty good but not great. My barista was a bit sloppy with his steaming, pour, and latte art.
Delicious Cuban food !Voted best Cuban sandwich in Chicago and tons of vegetarian options .We ordered the tomato, mozzarella Cuban sandwich, beans and rice as well as plantain .Absolutely delish ! Gets crowded around lunch time because the the colleges around so go before or after lunch as table space is limited .Tons of desserts and amazing Cuban coffee !
Service was a little slow but Ive all the coffee was great and worth the wait.
Move over Starbucks, Colectivo just may be the best coffee shop chain in America! The selection of beverages, food, music and ambiance all serve to give you the hip independent coffee shop feel. The coffee is some of the best Ive had!
Mocha latte was not good. Price was decent and place is nice inside. Did not try food tea or drip/pour over coffee...
Collectivo is one of Chicago’s most underrated coffee shops. Sure, it’s a part of a chain but they’re bartenders are knowledgeable. They are throwing great ‘spro and make a mean breakfast burrito. I love it most during summer time but also a very productive late morning spot for those people who want to work remote.
Great little coffee place. Staff is great too!
Decent coffee shop with a really trendy atmosphere. This place actually stocks a lot of home brewing supplies when it comes to filters for Hario V60s and Aeropress. They also have a wide variety of beans for sale. When I was in most of them were roasted within the past week.
This place really thinks its too cool for its own good. Premium coffee it may be, but lots of places serve premium coffee these days.
Friendly staff, quick service. No salt and pepper shakers available. But generally the food is seasoned right on.
Typically great, dont have as many options since covid
Great coffee and interesting brunch items. I have also visited the e Milwaukee one and recommend that also.
I made the mistake of going to the Dunkin Donuts next door (I’m keto, so I asked for sugar free options and was given what they called “mocha” flavor; spoiler, it tasted like butt), but the manager at Colectivo offered to “fix” my coffee - for free - by adding some of their own sugar free syrup. I was so pleased that I bought a flourless cookie from them. Excellent coffee shop with great employees!
Super chill coffee shop with excellent coffee from all over the world. Whether you like specialty drinks or if you just enjoy your coffee black, youll enjoy this Logan Square gem. The location can get busy duringpeak times and Wi-Fi is unavailable for use on Saturdays from 10am - 2pm.
The employees are very nice and the coffee is good. Free wifi and a good place to do your school work
Employees were all so nice and helpful with helping me decide which coffee to go with. Coffee was different and delicious ...so was the chocolate croissant !
