This place is often crowded during Weekend Mornings with People Dining in as well as picking up.We ordered some tea and coffee and bagels and a Turkey Pesto Focaccia sandwich served with choice of side. But the receptionist actually forgot our beverage order and we had to wait 15 mins just to get a Cappuccino and a Green Tea.Plus I asked for a small green tea and I was served with Large. 😕

No refund and charged me a 2nd time? I went back to have the order fixed and they showed an accidental charge? So they removed the tip they gave themselves? Then charged me again ?Check your food before you leave to be sure it’s right. First few times I was excited to be near such a great cafe but last time they took my order wrong I didn’t complain and today I get home to this ? Breakfast sandwich with sausage so they didn’t put anything on the bagel but sausage, didn’t let me sign for my own check and now I have to go back down there for a refund. Can a single person do their job right? Ever? I didn’t realize taking a regulars food order was so difficult. I didn’t complain last time as I like the cafe. Sad.So I go back down to get a refund as these girls told me to do and it wasn’t even necessary, they tried to play stupid and not tell me when the owner was in, I asked the cook and he was very respectful/told me when Maria was in. I also had to order through the cook so I could get my partner his meal.Wednesday September 15th between 12-12:30I was issued a refund and re-purchased my partners meal but still annoyed as he’s working/can’t eat now.

Great food. The skillets are awesome. Staff is very nice. Only a few indoor seats but outdoor seating is nice as well. Cozy interior. Very good breakfast spot overall!

Pretty good. I would come here for breakfast instead of Original Pancake House. They really know how to put cheese in their food, especially in the meat skillet. I love their green juice. I bought 5 (I already drank one before the photo was taken). The cheesecake was really small but it’s also cheaper than most places. It was really creamy.

Always delicious and fresh! Love the side salad. Favorites are the chicken pesto wrap and any sandwich on focaccia.

Coffee is excellent. Smoothies are very good. Muffins, hash browns and other items are straight from Costco. Avoid to not feel like you make the wrong choice. There are items on this menu that are worth the trip. Chose wisely.Mom says bacon was good.

It was unbelievable! This prestigious coffee shop that I went to this morning was fascinating. Every coffee’s and foods they served were delicious and satisfying to my taste buds. I’m pretty much delighted that the crews were serving me too well. They also cleaned and designed their area appropriately. No wonder that there was plenty of customers that visited their shop. From the bottom of my heart, I couldn’t stop thanking them for their good service.

Coronas fits the empty hole that is uptown/lake view options for paninis and wholesome and healthy lunch food. Far from the average bar and burger joint, Corona has salads, sandwiches, and skillets which contrast greatly with the average brunch place in Chi.It’s a quick, clean, and cozy atmosphere with friendly service. They have breakfast and lunch options and their food tastes very fresh and exquisite. Cost is on par with what it’s worth. Good coffee as well. Highly recommend a visit if you want something new and with quality.

I am so picky when it comes to place. This place was so relaxing. When I tasted their coffee here, I was so amazed for it has a good mix of flavors. I loved it so much. If you enjoy reading books while having a cup of coffee, they have more interesting books here. Just come!

Smoothie was just okay. I think I make a better one fresh at home. they use some sort of artificial rasberryf fruit juice in the blueberry raz and it made it so sweet and tart I couldnt even drink it. my best recommendation would be to switch out fake ingredients for natural ones and charge more

Great breakfast and iced coffee

Added a charge to our bill without notifying us. When we asked for an explanation, were told that it was a surcharge for steak on the Steak breakfast 🤔 I don’t mind paying surge pricing for Covid, but I do mind being lied to. Even worse, none of the employees cared and we were told “to speak to the owner” if we had a problem.We will not be back.

The lady up front is so sweet! Plus, any size latte for $2.69 on weekdays.

Do not sleep on this place! It is so good and even though I’ve only ordered a few things (bagel sandwich and multiple smoothies) I keep coming back because they are perfect every time. Smoothies are incredible and fresh and the bagel sandwiches are out of this world. This has become my favorite go to for quarantine food and I can’t wait to go in person after this is over!

I LOVE this place!! Its been a long time since Ive been there since moving from the neighborhood, but glad I had a chance to come back! They even redecorated, looks great!

I love getting a veggie sandwich from here. Their house pasta salad is really tasty too! Portions are large, I usually get two meals out of it. If you want it to go, definitely call it in or order online as it usually takes a while otherwise.

We live nearby, so I come here relatively often. Coffee is solid, food is a lot better than one might expect for a coffee shop. Steak sandwich was unbelievably good. Its our new favorite place - any place that grills wraps has a special place in my heart

This is one the cosiest coffee shops Ive ever been to. Its a perfect blend between rustic and modern, and on a nice cool summer day, the outdoor patio is the perfect place to read a book or work on your laptop.Their coffee is fresh and flavorful and comes with free refills (for a basic cup, at least; I have no idea with the fancier stuff). Their breakfast scrambles are varied and flavorful and come with SO MUCH FOOD. I mean, damn. You get your moneys worth here.And their smoothies. Oh, their smoothies. Pick one at random and youll be happy. Theyre all amazing.

The coffee is fine but every time I go there, they put only the tiniest bit of cream cheese on their bagels. I stopped coming here because of it, but the other place was out of bagels so I gave it one more shot. I specifically asked for extra cream cheese. The bagel I got barely had any on it. Like there was literally none in some places.I should have checked the bag before I left. Its a little thing but youre a coffee shop so get it right.

I am so happy I stumbled upon this gem on Grubhub the food is SO good! I have now ordered four times since my initial order. For me, I am very picky with orders so when I put a ton of additional info in, sometimes things can go awry. Coronas has hit the mark every single time. In addition to that, they deliver incredible fast I only wait 25-35 minutes every time I order which says something because I order on weekends when I assume they are slammed in the shop. PS Love that you guys have American Cheese. Sometime, I will be visiting the shop because of how good the food is and how cute it looks on their photos. Thanks Coronas!

I like Coronas café, they have good foods and good coffee selections. I usually order their skillet and cafe latte for brunch, and they are good. The price are affordable, too. Good hangout cafe for the neighborhood.

The service was very very slow (and with nobody in front of us either), the breakfast wraps we ordered (the delight and the Mexican) were very basic and bland, and the espresso was average. Annoyingly we were served our drinks in styrofoam cups even though we told them dine-in and they have normal cups since we saw others get drinks in them. The mocha ordered was average, but the Mexican hot chocolate was basically a cup of warm milk and very little other flavor. The storefront was clean with a decent amount of seating given its size. The staff were polite. Perhaps we came at an off day or something because other reviews seem generally favorable. Given our experience I cant recommend.

Came here on a Tuesday afternoon and had a great quick lunch! The menu is a little confusing, but the food is delicious and the place has a great cozy atmosphere! I got a the Chicken Pesto Sandwich and it was so great. The side of salad was iceberg lettuce which was disappointing but even that had an assortment of veggies on top! Ill definitely be back to try a smoothie!EDIT 1/29/21: Upping to 5 stars because in the pandemic I WFH one day a week (Im an essential office worker so I still have to attend to the office regularly) and Coronas has become a welcome lunch delivery comfort to me. Everything I try is delicious, coffee beverages always arrive piping hot, and the consistency is something we all need right now. Highly recommend!

There are roughly 3 other places nearby to get coffee and breakfast items, one is dunkin donuts, the second is a gas station and the third is located under the red line train ( i.e. noisy).So if youre looking for a nice quiet place to sit, this homey locally owned shop is a good place to consider. I work in the area and prefer a quick transaction and an almost instant caffeine pick me up before going into work, I wasnt expecting to find that but I did. The staff are friendly and extremely quick with orders. After a few morning visits, they even remembered my order ( down to wanting room for cream) thats a nice aspect of service you cant beat.The menu also has many options with all averaging around $6 USD. Check this place out, you wont be disappointed.

I ordered breakfast here on Postmates. I had asked for tortillas and sour cream on the side with my Mexican chorizo skillet. When my order arrived it had a note on the box stating “no tortillas or sour cream, we are not a Mexican restaurant.” That’s fine I get it. But you don’t have to be rude and state that on the box. A simple “Sorry no sour cream or tortillas” would’ve sufficed. You’re not a Mexican restaurant, fine. But I received a Mexican skillet. Anyway that’s not even the main problem. I paid $25 for a bacon egg & cheese croissant and a Mexican chorizo skillet w a small coke. The croissant was soggy and cold from the styrofoam to go box and the hash brown it came with tasted freezer burn. The Mexican skillet was almost not edible. The eggs were like a plain sponge and I didn’t even receive napkins or a fork so I had to go and ask for one across the street. Overall not happy. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Horrible. I placed a to go order and paid for it. After waiting about 30 minutes i told the cashier that i had to come back. Walked home (about 3 blocks), put my clothes in the dryer and walked back. The cashier said she cancelled ny order because i left...she didnt credit my card though. So i waited some more.....still no food...i told the cashier to credit my account and i left....with no food. I wasted about 45 to 50 minutes. The cashier/owner wasnt even nice about it. Very frustrating. Also, looke at the stores responses to the negative ratings in the other reviews. They are very rude responses.

First time here to try it with the Groupon and last, just a bad experience overall the servers dont even come to the table you have to order at the counter i ordered a meat skillet they bring out a chorizo skillet which was very salty, not even a apology the girls at the counter show no energy to work there and i was told i have to buy 2 drinks with the Groupon which doesnt state that, hire new servers that are more attentive

Food is good, it just takes way too long to get your food. Even calling ahead or placing a pickup order, still takes like 20-30 minutes for a wrap.
