I started the process through e-mail, and essentially finished it through e-mail, only meeting the staff in person during the day of signing.You could say it took extra time, three days from start to finish (that included a closed day) but for me that is 100% okay as I was happy and confident of my purchase throughout the entire time.I have never been to a dealer that had such cheerful and enjoyable staff. Most dealers you can tell the staff are just there to work, not here, it was an extremely pleasant experience. We were there for maybe an hour and half because of a family ahead of us, which didnt bother me, our signing took fifteen-twenty minutes max. That included a well explained terms of the loan.The vehicle itself, I only had slight worry because I didnt test drive it, is a thing of beauty. Its a clean, well maintained vehicle, and it handles better than our other car. Its been mine and my wifes dream car for several years, and Chilson made it extremely easy to purchase it.Overall. Absolutely five stars from myself and my family. We loved the staff we met, especially our sales woman Heather who made the experience better than I ever thought a car sale could go, the vehicle we purchased, and the experience as a whole.When my wife wants to upgrade her car now, well absolutely be returning.

I love my new Jeep! It is exactly what I had in mind when I decided I wanted a Jeep. I was having trouble finding a 2 door, most were 4 door. And any 2 door I found had way more miles on it than I was wanting to have. Priced way, in my opinion too high for the amount of miles on them. I was lucky to run across this one with so few miles on it and the price was right and it was in excellent shape. Tim was very helpful and took excellent care of me during the transaction. Very friendly and helpful. I am totally satisfied with everything!

Oil changed, wiper blade and tires rotated. Quick service and overall good except they charged for tire rotation which is free due to buying tires there. They did correct when pointed out.

Car was over priced ended up buying since I didnt feel like driving out of state to get a better deal. They promised to fix the pull. Brought it in and it still pulls. Actually more now...Never got the service records. Shop never called to set up my app I had to bug them even though I was told they would call me. When I asked about getting it looked at again it would be booked out after warranty date so... not really happy with them. But I do like my car so theres that. But you dont actually get to negotiate very well with anyone it talk to the sale associate they talk to somine and then they talk to someone else and and he later you get 200 dollars lower prices back and forth like that for a day so expect to pay close to the price on the window and do expect they will actually fix any problems
Great service, I called and spoke with Tim about a vehicle I saw on their website, asked about adding a trailer hitch to it and he was very accommodating. That was at 4:00, by 5:15 I was test driving the vehicle and by 6:00 completing the paperwork. Tim arranged for the hitch to be installed the next day and less than 24 hours from my first call to completion I was driving away with my new to me vehicle a satisfied customer. I will definitely return to Chilson.

The code causing the check engine light was not cleared just read. I had to go back in and ask again to have it done.My coupon for a free oil change was not applied.I was not informed the car was finished even though I told the Service advisor I was waiting (2.5 hours). Found it sitting in the parking lot myself.No progress updates during the 2 1/2 hours.Service advisor walked thru showroom where I was waiting 4-5 times during the wait.And they werent even busy - I wonder why?.......
I went in specifically to look at 1 car. The salesperson showed me exactly what I wanted, we went through everything inside and out. Test drove it, really liked the car. I asked him not to call me, I was waiting for my husband to return to town in 3 weeks. This is 1 of my favorite parts, he actually listened!He said if I had any additional questions to call him. 3 weeks later we came back and bought the car. My husband was back on the road when the car came in, Chilson arranged a ride. Salesperson took the time to go through everything again, to make sure I knew how the car functioned. He was hands down the best salesperson I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I could tell he likes his job, and knows a lot about vehicles. And lastly, I absolutely love the car. My experience with sales just put it over the top, they were fantastic to negotiate with. I have recommended them to everyone shopping for a vehicle. I love Chilson and drive over 35 miles just to have them care for our vehicles. When I first started working with Chilson, my husband was deployed for nearly a year. They came and picked my car up for oil changes and dropped it off for me during one of the most difficult times in my life. I have tried different locations and companys that were closer to home, but they do not come close to the service and care we get in Chippewa Falls.
We found a vehicle we were interested in on the website and sent a request for more information. We were contacted by email pretty quickly and made arrangements to see the car the next day. The staff was very helpful and made the whole process smooth. We liked the car and decided to buy after the test drive. Everything was wrapped up pretty quick. Very satisfied.
It’s a little crazy. My wife and I wanted to purchase a new AWD vehicle before I retired. We looked at Buick’s for five weekends and had from OK to terrible experiences at a pretty wide range of dealerships. We decided to regroup and look at replacing my nine year old Jeep Rubicon. On a Friday I called Paul at Chilson’s and asked him to meet me at the Chippewa Jeep dealership on Saturday. We spent an hour looking at and test driving Wranglers. We then met with Mark and had pretty much settled on ordering a new Willys. We were going to get back together the next week. Just for fun we ran over to their other Jeep dealership to look at a Willys they had on that lot that was short a few options we were looking for. We then saw and fell in love with a Snazzberry Red Sahara they had. It was more money, but we really wanted it. I stopped back and talked to Paul and he looked it up in their system. I made them an offer, they countered, and on the next Tuesday I picked up my new Sahara. After a month an a half of searching for a vehicle every weekend, I basically bought a new Jeep from Chilson’s in three hours. The experience couldn’t have been more pleasurable. From initial contact to pick up and drive off, I was treated like family. Mark even set up all my internet options like my XM remote start and Mopar Service App. All I had to do was Log in and set up my password. He even gave me his direct number in case there was any issues. If you haven’t purchased a vehicle from Chilson’s, you don’t know how easy and enjoyable buying a new car can be.

Best dodge dealership hands down! Tony the service manager let me walk in on a Saturday at 230 pm while they were busy and was able to fix my lower bumper on my hellcat in 30 minutes with his top tech. They gave me a free car wash and didn’t even charge me. I will only have my 3 vehicles serviced here going forward! Wish I could give them 10 stars!
Test drove a car at this dealership. Not impressed by the leave of cleanliness. The car had a use discussing Kleenex in the pocket of the car. When I complained about it they acted as if it was not a big deal. GROSS!!! I would not recommend this dealership go to the Eau Claire one they clean at least. GROSS, JUST GROSS

Great car buying experience! Chilson in Lake Hallie brought down the price of my truck so I was able to afford it. Heather (saleswoman) was very nice and always in a positive mood during and after I bought my truck. I even received a personal letter from her! Had some troubles with the exhaust on my vehicle the day I bought it but it will be getting taken care of no charge to me and that shows that Chilson is about the customer. I will recommend Chilson to anyone and everyone from now on because this is the BEST service I have ever had from an entire company whether it be sales, finance, or anyone in the building. About a year ago I went here to get a replacement key and key fob programmed for my Dodge Stratus Coupe. After over an hour of time went by for them to say they cant do anything with the items I purchased online for them to program. If they couldnt make it happen... Why go and charge me $45 of the $65 they quoted me on over the phone and say they do them all the time for people who purchase these items online. I didnt get the individuals name who quoted me over the phone who claimed I wouldnt be charged if they couldnt program my items so they charged me the $45. Why did it take over an hour to find this out when its a simple 10 minute operation at best. Not happy with their explanations from the service department I questioned those in the parts department and they concluded that my locksets in my Dodge are Mitsubishi made products and Id have to repurchase a key & fob for a Mitsubishi instead. Still I was charged $45 for problems I had no control over. I found this out about the locksets with my own determination and the help of an eager parts department person. Youd think their service department would be more knowledgeable about a 2002 Dodge and be happy I figured out what the problem was and give back the $45 they took from me without any care or concern. Id think twice about going here again for anything. Real Sleazy Operation.

This will end up on the black market..........EDIT 1They are trying to say the DMV sold my information to scam artists. Had my trucks cooling system flushed and new Hoat antifreeze was installed, including the overflow tank. Very happy with the results. No air pockets, everything was clean. Would recommend.

We needed a warranty part fixed and they found another separate issue that they took care of as well. We literally picked them as they are the closest to our home. SO GLAD we chose them. Austin and Linda where absolutely amazing (as was everyone else). The tech who did the work, last name of Wood is also really good at his job as we couldnt even tell he was in our vehicle. Left everything as it was besides the bad part. Based on the service that we were provided we will be coming here for our vehicle needs and when in the market for a new vehicle this is where we will go.
During this time of pandemic with the covid virus on the loose they certainly are still ready to assist anyone who wants to buy a vehicle, or requires service to the vehicle they currently own. the one I have looked at today does have a few concerns however tim the sales consultant I am currently being assisted by is getting it looked at right now. I brought my new Ram truck into the Chilsons dealership where I purchased it for two reasons. I am not even up to my first oil change and the AC went out. I was told by Chilsons that the AC was only 3 degrees out of spec. According to the internet, the temp. is about 15 to 20 degrees out of spec.They did not have the parts needed to do the warrantee repairs on the AC. (Two Schrader valves). When they got them in I was given the choice to leave my truck there starting Monday next week until they can get it in to fix it, or make an appointment in September. It is over an hour round trip for me. I even asked if they could call if they got an opening as I am retired but was told that wont work for them.I also questioned the gas mileage. I am getting just over 8 mpg pulling an 18 camper trailer. I was told that there were no codes and everything was in spec. Really??? Semis only get a couple miles per gallon less pulling a loaded 53 foot trailer.This is my first Ram truck, and my last.This was my first purchase from Chilsons, and my last.I havent gotten to my first oil change and I have never regretted buying a vehicle or a dealership more. Very Sad. :{10/2021 UPDATE...Have had the truck for two years now. Has been in for service multiple times do to A/C not working. Last time 9/27/21 9,544 miles on my 2019 Ram 2500. A/C worked for a couple of days and failed again. I emailed the service center and asked for a response. Never received one. I am retired and disabled. It is over an hour round trip for me and they will not pick up. I have owned a lot of vehicles in my lifetime. WORST vehicle purchase EVER. Worst service EVER. Got better service buying used Xterra at different dealership.

I went up there after having a conversation with a salesman for 3 days prior to visit. 1st off could not get my name right to save his life and my name is misty. I was looking at the Ford fiesta 2011 blue dual manual automatic the car was pretty good there was a lot of things they had fixed on it before putting it out for sale and when I noticed during the test drives at these sway bar links in the front were shot and asked them to fix them or lower the price they turn around and said the car is now buy as is AFTER 3 days of prior conversation and price agreement knowing I was driving 2 hours to look at it . It was extremely disappointing that Nowhere on the buyers guide website or any paperwork, did it say car was bought as is. They had it priced for $4653 and would only go down to 4500 they also had a document service fee of a $140. They wasted my time and Im just not comfortable doing business with a sales person who doesnt even know who is talking to.
