We recently purchased a new vehicle from Abel at Chippewa Valley Mazda. From the introduction he was friendly and focused on getting to know us and our needs. We described the type of vehicle we were looking for and he was quick to offer recommendations. Being a taller guy, I have had trouble finding vehicles with a comfortable drivers seat. Abel offered several suggestions and returned with over half a dozen keys to cars, just so I could try sitting in them. He suggested a Subaru Forester, which was a perfect fit. The cars color and style was different than what we were looking for, so he brought us in and we searched another car lot, on the other side of town. We found two different cars there that we were interested in. He drove with us over to that side of town to test drive the Forester. They provided a Carfax report plus a comprehensive inspection. When we flew in to pick it up, we were thrilled that it was in even better condition then we expected! Purchased a car from them in July. When I purchased it, they couldn’t find the second key fob. So I had to go back a week or so later when they found it. I’ve never used the second key fob until I blew a tire last week and a family member came to help me out. The battery was dead and had never been used. I had to pay for a new battery even though they sold it to me not working. A little frustrated on that. My main one the battery died within a month. They were also very pushy. Friendly, but pushed me to put money down having never seen the car to ensure it would be there hours later when I was done with work. Wouldn’t end up buying from them again.

I loved my salesman, Miguel, who made the process very easy for me and kept me in the loop throughout the entire time. Super professional, kind, and courteous guy. I highly recommend you go see him, he is one of their best and will go out of his way to ensure you have a great experience!The management is also very transparent and doesnt add on any questionable fees, which is a refreshing sight in the used car market of today. I felt very comfortable with them and would buy again if I get the chance to do so!

They offered a fair price for my trade in. Only thing I would watch out for is their parts and service. I am suppose to get a piece repaired (written in the purchase agreement) and was told they would get ahold of me. I gave them a couple weeks until I finally called them. They said they would look into it and call me back. Gave them another week or 2 before I called them back. Again they said they would look into it and would call me back. Still waiting.....

About a month ago, I found a listing for a truck on Cars.com that caught my attention. I reached out through the page and Nathan Trapp messaged me the same day to let me know it was available. We worked on the deal for about 1 1/2 - 2 weeks via email/text/phone calls since I was not local to the dealership. Any question or concern or request I had was met within 24 hours, to include extra videos and picture requests. I stopped in their lot on July 5, 2021. I parked near the front door, which had a show car in front of the door. There was plenty of room for people to go in and out. I left my car on because I just wanted to quickly look at the price tag of a vehicle. No more than 30 seconds into my visit, a salesperson comes out and asks me if the car parked near their door was mine and told me to move my vehicle. Im not a salesperson, but I would think the first thing a salesperson should say is hello, and how may I help you or is there anything I can help you with? and then recommend me to move my car to a more appropriate place on their lot. Its hard to believe people who work in sales and have no clue how to engage customers. I was more offended by the tone of the request more than anything. Bill Bertrand, president and GM of this location, has always been a community advocate and models what customer service looks like, but sadly that is where it ends. Unfortunately, his standards and leadership dont seem to be the values and beliefs of his salespeople.

10/10 would not recommend! I regret to this day purchasing a vehicle from these clowns. Less than 24 hours after purchasing a vehicle off their lot and I was realizing the vehicle had issues that were pre existing (salesman was notified). I called and was told it was all going to be covered by them, a few days later I get a call from an employee by the name of Adam and was told they were NOT going to cover the bill and essentially accused me of lying and putting the fault on my shoulders. Adam was extremely rude to not only me but my wife as well. The salesman who knew about said issue also backed out on knowing about the issue. If you enjoy getting backstabbed this is the place to purchase from. Also if you plan on purchasing anything but a Mazda from them I would recommend taking it somewhere else for servicing, they have no idea what they are doing .

Worked with Trevor and he was great to work with. Everything went smooth, and they gave me a great trade in on my truck. They have a lot of extra options, but no pressure to add anything.

Couldn’t be happier with Kyle and the guys at Chippewa Valley Mazda. I was looking for the perfect vehicle and Kyle delivered. His communication, demeanor, and trust was on display throughout the entire car buying process. I never once felt like I was getting false information and any questions or request I had, Kyle and James took care of. They allowed me to get a third party inspection on the vehicle before buying as well. All this was done virtually, as I am from Dallas Texas. I flew up and the car was exactly what Kyle said it was. All in all, 10/10 experience.

We purchased a used vehicle from this dealership and a week later had to take it back for at least 3 different repairs. They had it 3 weeks, when we finally got it back only one repair was done with the main reason we returned it forgotten, they canceled the warning light for another repair needed which came back on after about 50 miles and the general manager has yet to reply to my emails. This was a no haggle sale as the salesman stated no apologies on this vehicle as its in excellent condition. We wish now we would have negotiated a lower price due to finding hidden issues a few days after we bought it, one being a leaking fill tube when we put gas in it. The service dept. does a poor job at best of doing their jobs properly, especially inspecting a vehicle before its put on the lot. Very dissatisfied with this dealership and their customer service!

We had a great buying experience. Very straightforward process with purchasing. Enjoyed working with Nate Trapp.We did have a issue with the steering wheel tilt angle apparently shorting the connection to the blinkers and the brake lights When the tilt is pulled down. Everything works fine when the tilt is higher. This happened as soon as I left the lot when I was adjusting the tilt and my wife noticed the brakes went off, Then noticed the blinkers didn’t work too. I emailed Nate Trapp About it and haven’t heard back yet it’s been a few days and I’m wondering if he’s out Of the office. Hoping to remedy this electrical short issue with the tilt in the steering wheel ASAP as it makes it kind of touchy to drive. But don’t get me Wrong, we have had a very good experience thus far with working with you guys.

They even confirmed with us, the day of, that we were coming, which we said we were. 3 hours into our drive, the dealership called to say, We sold the vehicle on you. You had the chance of putting a non refundable $500 deposit down. If you want poor customer service and greedy employees who like to play money games, this place is for you. Unbelievable.

My husband and I have purchased 3 cars from here. We have always had excellent service, until yesterday. We went in to purchase my sons first car. Took it for a test drive and started the financing process. Which was not a lot of work because we walked in with a pre-approval. They took money for a down payment hold because I was at work and was going to stop by in the morning and sign everything. Smooth sailing....NOPE as they are discussing payments the sales manager informs my husband and son that the people who test drove the car before them came back and decided to purchase it and because they drove it first they were going to sell to them instead. They than gave the money back they took from my husband to hold the car.I am so disappointed. I will never buy another car from here again.

I saw a Chippewa Lexus LS 460 L AWD advertised on Car Guru and contacted Tyler on 7.21 and expressed my serious interest even though I reside in DC/MD. On the morning of 7.22 bright and early i communicated to Tyler I applied for financing and confirmed approval at 12:30 Eastern Standard Time. I inquired early on regarding placing a deposit and was told I needed to have financing in place. Rather than establish me as a serious customer with first crack at the vehicle, Tyler texted me (no call) to indicate I could place a a deposit. Busy at work two hours lagged before my response; whereupon I was informed the vehicle had been purchased.At long distance I functioned in good faith. I could have misrepresented having secured financing, in order to place a deposit, but did not. Surely, the least the dealership could have done is extended me the courtesy of a call indicating that I needed to act if interested. Alas, that did not happen. A word to the wise, caveat emptor (buyer beware) when dealing with Chippewa Mazda. Despite the overwhelming positive reviews, I am seriously disappointed in their follow-up and lack of accommodation for me as a serious buyer.

Finally made my first purchase at a dealership and unfortunately, I likely wont be back to this one again. Picked up a used CR-V which I assumed was a trade-in, so I gave a lot of leeway.I was told by the dealership that the scraping sound heard when I pressed the brakes was lot rot and would stop after a drives; a month or so later, Im replacing the both rear brakes in their entirety.The A/C didnt work during the test drive, which seemed to be a surprise to them, and I was assured they would fix it before I picked it up for purchase; they ended up not getting to it, but I was assured it would need a simple recharge which is something I can handle. $600+ later, I have to replace the A/C compressor. Something tells me they knew that was the problem and thats why they didnt get to it.Overall, a disappointing experience.

Tried to make us pay warranty after 3 weeks when still having the same problem over and over ended up taking the truck else where to get fixed to find out the extended warranty we were sold was also junk and doesnt cover any of the work. So now we have to pay over 1500 in repairs on a 40k truck… needless to say we wont be ever coming back..

Its so refreshing to get to write a completely positive review for a car dealership following a purchase experience! I live in Phoenix, AZ and recently came across a vehicle I just had to have online. This BMW was for sale used at Chippewa Valley Mazda. I contacted the dealership to inquire about the car and got an immediate response from the salesman, Hunter. I asked a few questions pertaining to the car beyond what was listed in the ad and they were answered quickly. Hunter even sent me a personalized video tour of the car! The Internet pricing was very fair and I decided to buy the car even though it was all the way in Wisconsin. Clay in the finance department assisted me in the details and arranged financing in just a couple of phone calls. The purchase process was so easy and transparent. I received the paperwork soon after the deal was done and although Chippewa Valley Mazda offered to arrange transportation of my BMW, I chose to fly to Minneapolis and drive my newly acquired Z4 back to Phoenix. Upon arrival in Minneapolis, my new toy was delivered to me at my hotel right on time as arranged. It was just as described and in excellent condition. The delivery team handed me the keys and temporary registration/paperwork with a smile but mine was even bigger! I fell in love with my Z4 during my 1700 mile drive back to Phoenix smiling the whole way. Thank you Chippewa Valley Mazda for making an unusual vehicle purchase process so pleasant and easy!
