Needed a new phone and a new carrier. Previous Boost customer, boost is lagging behind on many aspects: limited, if any, cell signal, limited, if any, inventory on site. Stopped in to the US Cellular, Christiansburg store front to check it out. Sales Clerk talked me into a new Samsung deal with accessories. Signal is intermittent but definitely neither a 5g nor 4g, locally. They were able to port my number, however. I have no impression either way; of the Company, their products or service, yet...
I wanted an hour and a half to get an Apple Watch after waiting inside and being told it would be an hour so I put my name on the list. After waiting and hearing nothing, I went back in to see about how much longer it would be only to be told it would “still be awhile”. I will no longer be using this location. Terrible customer service. This transaction should’ve taken no more than 15 minutes and I wasted almost 2 hours.

The phone service is great. I get signal everywhere. The plans they offer leave something to be desired and their phone selection could be better. In fact, I switched cellular companies because after being a customer for over 10 years, the bill was too expensive for what I was getting.And if you visit here be prepared to wait a long time. The place is usually packed and there are not enough workers.
Had a problem with a new phone that suddenly wouldnt recharge -- took it back in and Leah (who had waited on us when we got the phone) was great! Figured out what was wrong with it and fixed the issue in a helpful (no fuss) way. Really good customer service.
Had an associate laugh when I said I was disappointed about my bill being an extra 30 bucks. Glad to know they think its funny to hide additional charges.
I waited in the store for 45 minutes and then dealt with the rudest customer service in Christiansburg. We left and went to US Cellular in Fairlawn and they took care of us and solved our issues. Save the trouble and go to Fairlawn!

I have US Cellular cell through the prepaid programs but this US Cellular store refuses to help me with anything apparently u.s. cellular pay as you go plans are not handled by the snooty US Cellular Sales people... They told me to go to Walmart and find someone there who was willing to help

While this place is great, it is always so busy you have to wait forever to get waited on. The people are super nice and very knowledgeable, the phones are all there so you can try before you buy.
The signal is great in al the areas I travel. The one drawback is the long lines when needing to make a purchase.
Not enough help. Walked out of store after 20 minute wait. Never acknowledged us as we browsed phones.
