We had an amazing experience at the Christiansburg store.Mark Fitzgerald was great and patient as we searched for a sofa and loveseat with our two kids in tow. We made it clear that we were interested in paying less than $1500 for both pieces and Mark met us with the same enthusiasm as if we were there to spend several thousands of dollars. We weren’t looking for a sectional but ultimately left with a beautiful and comfortable Signature Design by Ashley sectional that was within our budget. It fits wonderfully in our living room. Excellent customer service! We will shop here again.

I went into Virginia Furniture Market to just look at the prices of their full size beds. As I walked in the store it looked beautifully set up for people to see their furniture, the atmosphere was pleasant and then I was approached by Tim James a sales rep. I told what I was looking for, he explained in detail what they had to offer. After much discussion I brought several pieces of furniture and mattresses. I am very pleased with my purchase and the great customer service I received. You can not go wrong in choosing to make a purchase with Virginia Furniture Market.

My family & I went into the store on a Saturday around 4. We were promptly greeted by Caleb who showed us what we were looking for. He was very attentive to us, and our children. He showed us all of the bells & whistles on the couches, and explained the differences of each material. We never felt rushed even though we were there right at closing. The entire staff was very friendly, and helpful. We were also given some space to browse, and didn’t feel like he was right on our toes. They have a huge selection, and the customer service has been awesome. Highly recommend!

The level of customer service was excellent, from the time I entered the store until I left. Dave made me feel at ease, walking me through my different options and asking questions to get a sense of what my tastes are. (I am buying my first house, so I needed furniture for most rooms.) Dave helped me pick out the best, most practical products for my needs. The other staff members were very courteous as well, making payment and delivery scheduling a breeze. I will definitely purchase from VFM in the future!

Virginia Furniture Market has an excellent selection with fast and friendly service. They also have touch screens around the store to help find additional items not in their store. Prices are on part or better than their competitors too. I highly recommend this store for indoor or outdoor furniture.

When my wife said we ought to go furniture shopping, I said: How bout a root canal instead? Imagine my surprise upon opening the doors to VFM and meeting Sarah, who warmly and genuinely asked us how we were and what ideas we had in mind. That was the perfect start to a perfect morning, at least as perfect as furniture shopping can get. Sarah listened to us, took mental notes, offered suggestions exactly tailored to our descriptions, shielded us from things nowhere near related to our aesthetic, and let us to things we never wouldve found on our own and which suited our desires perfectly. Great local furniture store. Found the perfect TV console, and was able to purchase it, and take home with me. Melissa was the Sales Rep that helped me. She helped measure a couple of different ones, and narrow it down to the one that would work best for us. She also coordinated the loading guys to wrap the furniture and load into my suv. What I really liked, is when she first greeted me when I entered the store, I communicated to her that I was looking for a TV console, was just gonna buzz through real quick, and if I see something, I’ll find her. Buying furniture is such a stressful event but the staff here at Virginia Furniture Market make it simple. Everyone was so friendly and the none of the sales staff pressure you at allI worked with Melissa. She really took the time to learn about what I needed and help me pick out the perfect pieces. I must have spent about 3 hours total trying out everything and being indecisive, Melissa was so supportive and kind.I hope it will be awhile before I need to buy furniture again, but when I do they have earned a customer for life!

Dave took care of us, answered any questions that we had and helped us find a good deal. We have children and pets and he helped us find something that really worked for our family. We never felt pressured to buy but he did check in with us to make sure our questions were answered and our concerns addressed. In the end, we walked away with exactly what we needed. He was knowledgeable and made sure that we understood our options. We did end up using financing our purchase and the process was simple and quick, and all of our questions were answered before we agreed to anything. Would come here again, glad we stopped in. Richie was AWESOME helping me find my living room set. I ran out of time to find the TV console end tables, and coffee table so I am looking forward to returning to the store to work with him on that part of my purchase.The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because of the checkout process. First, I do not like the plexiglass windows between myself and the person who is assisting me. It is difficult to hear because voices are distorted through the plexiglass, and the experience feels impersonal. Furthermore, the associate who completed my purchasing paperwork was not nearly as helpful as Richie. I had several questions and this associate appeared annoyed by my questions. I am looking forward, however, to returning to the store to work with Richie on completing my search for the rest of my living room furniture.

Both Melissa and Sarah were excellent to work with! Melissa had excellent recommendations and thoroughly talked us through the benefits and unique qualities of each piece. Sarah really worked with us to figure out what fit our tastes and what would work best for our budget. Both ladies had excellent customer service and I would highly recommend anyone to speak with them. They do not make you feel pressured to make a purchase like other stores do and are there with your best interests. We will definitely be making all future furniture purchases with them in the future.

Unfortunate to have to post this. Things started so well and then went bad quickly after unpackaging.Initial in store experience seemed to go well. Selected a power adjustable desk, did the paperwork and purchased with a warranty considering the electric power leg system and digital control box.Unbeknownst to me, the price posted was ONLY for the desk TOP.....NOT THE LEGS.There was an identical desk right nearby that had a price double the one I was looking at and I specifically asked the question on the disparity.Im unsure how many people are purchasing desks without legs (???)Bottom line is REALLY look closely at the wording on the posted price. I took a picture and I must admit it states desktop and not desk and that wording is what the manager fell back on.Fool me once.I will not return to VFM. I found another source for the legs online and that company will ship to my home.I would have given only one star but I did get a refund on the warranty I purchased as what I have is essentially a slab of wood.Buyer beware of Virginia Furniture Market.

After we had a HORRIBLE experience with Ashley furniture we thought maybe we could get a better experience here. We were so wrong. If they say it’s “in stock” it’s actually not. You have to wait a few days for it to come in. They also won’t sell anything to you for less than the listed price, regardless if it’s in the outlet or not. You also can’t buy anything off the floor. They promise to have it in store by a certain day and fail to do so. (We had to go by the store after they closed and ask about our furniture promised by that day, thankfully they actually gave it to us since the truck delivered right at closing).

Great store, reasonable prices, and personable service. Brady was able to answer all of my many questions. I’ll definitely be back for my next furniture purchase.

So far, we have had a great experience at the Virginia Furniture Market in Christiansburg. We have been discussing and casually looking for a new living room set for several months. Tucker was the perfect sales associate for us. We stayed in the store for quite a while. We looked at and sat on almost every reclining sofa in the store, and there are a lot to choose from! Tucker gave us plenty of time and space but was also a fountain of useful information to help us make a decision. I think we have found the perfect addition to our home. I must say Virgina Furniture Market is kinda tucked behind Sheets and between Target and Home Depot but they are so worth the hunt! My husband and I have tried to purchase a living room suite for almost 2 months. We purchased one from their competitor I wont give them a shout out because it was terrible I will say they are very close across the road. We were given a day of delivery and after paying cash we were told they only had half of it in stocks but dont worry we will have it in a couple of weeks. Wrong I found out the company is way behind due to the problems in Texas and it may be 30 WEEKS before it came. I am having open heart surgery and I will need to sleep almost sitting up and to say the least it wi6need to be power. We called Virginia Furniture Market explained everything to a wonderful sales lady Melissa she went to work finding only what IS in stock and talking to us even after she had left for the day and was on her time at home. We will be all set 4 days before my surgery. It wouldnt have cut it so close if we hadnt been lied to. And customers are still being lied to there. Yesterday I saw a Virginia Furniture Market ad on Facebook and after looking at photos on their page, my husband and I decided to make the drive to check it out. We are so glad we did! I knew, almost immediately, that we would be making a purchase here. Our sales lady, Melissa, greeted us at the door and was absolutely WONDERFUL from start to finish. It was the easiest and most enjoyable buying experience I’ve ever had. I had in my mind what I wanted and I didn’t want to settle. What I told Melissa was, “I like the comfort of that couch, the color of this other one, and the fabric on that couch over there. If I could just put them together I’d have what I’m looking for!” I didn’t think we could actually do that, but Melissa custom designed EXACTLY what I asked for and I didn’t have to settle! She then sifted through a ton of fabric swatches and very patiently helped me pick out what pillows I wanted for our couch! Not only that, I wanted a rocker recliner and she hopped online to find just what I needed.As for the store itself: top notch! A very large selection with styles to fit every taste. Clean environment. Every store associate was kind, courteous, and quick to say hello. True hospitality to say the least. This furniture store is the absolute best furniture store that I have ever been to, hands down. In my career, I previously worked for a furniture company that I admired as an automation engineer. Although I designed machinery for the company, I did witness the furniture store part as well. I always thought that the company I worked for couldnt be beat until I tried this place. My wife and I have purchased quite a bit of furniture for our new house over the past year, and it has all been from here. My wifes family has also taken notice and purchased furniture here as well. I have recommended this place to all of my co-workers, including the president of the company I am at now. They have the best staff and service that I have ever seen hands down. They also have the largest selection of furniture that isnt ugly and tacky that I have ever seen as well. My wife was getting very frustrated going from store to store. The only complaint I have is that wee have to drive from Mount Airy, NC to Christiansburg, but the drive is definitely worth it. We cant wait to go pick up our new dining room set this weekend!

He, Ritchie, gave the perfect amount of assistance without being overbearing or intrusive.
