I found this shop recently when I was in need of an emergency brake cable replacement on my 2002 Toyota echo. I talked to the owner over the phone for a quote and got my car in for the work a day later. He did a great job at a fair price. Since then he has changed the oil on both of my other cars. I think I found the good honest mechanic I was looking for. highly recommended.

Down an alley might throw you off. Though, nothing but a good experience. Drop off the car, the boss calls you confirming the work load, pick up. Done. Polite and professional.... I didnt notice I dropped my key and went back while trying to drive away to make sure he gave it to me. He didnt get deffensive or place blame. He double checked his workstation and with a quick look around we found it where i had been standing. He carried himself as would someone when taking personal ownership of making sure a job gets done right. Certainly deserves all the reviews I went to him for.
