This is a huge double decker store that has everything. The biggest problem is being able find an item without asking. The prices generally are a bit less than Home Depot. The quality of the lumber is not my favorite but good for big orders with easy pickup. The return process needs a receipt compared to competitors use of credit card locating. The cashiers are fast.

I was at Menards again yesterday and I received material money at the price according to the website, but the store price is 11% more. I didnt get enough to cover the 5 breakers I was purchasing so I sat one on a shelf. DO NOT DO THIS HERE they made me walk the entire store with them until I remembered where I sat this breaker. I understand they have to do something to cut theft but a quick peak in my purse and a look at my pockets could have told them I didnt take it. I should have handed it to the cashier and said I didnt want and that is what will definitely happen in the future but I was in a hurry and this did not help

I was amazed by the size and amount of stock everything was amazing BUT ..I was lost,trying to find Electrical department i asked a young Caucasian girl for assistance and she snapped . IM BUSY HELPING ANOTHER CUSTOMER I finished my question Wheres Electrical ? She rolled her eyes and said upstairs. NOT ACCEPTABLE EMPLOYEE ATTITUDE.. She was in the carpet area 5 pm 10/22/2021.

Went in for furnace filters. Had several store credits to use and asked an associate how they could be used. Associate was extremely helpful. Also asked another associate where to find furnace filters. Was directed upstairs to the center isle. Found the filters I wanted right away, used the store credits to purchase the filters and was out the door. Great experience!

Its OK. Just like Home Depot and Lowes. They dont offer any discounts and prices are very similar but offer different items that those retailers dont carry. Went there because HD was out of stock and needed something now time to try this rebate.

Love shopping there. They usually have what I am looking for. I wish they would do away with their 11% rebate sale and just take off 10% at the register or just print a coupon for the 10% to be used for your next visit.

Easy to find and great deals on hardware.The only drawback:I would like it if they had deals instead of the 11% rebate that you can only use on future purchases in-store (not even online). Its smart business for them, but a hassle for me.

This is not a normal Menards store. Ive been to 3 or 4 now and I couldnt find anything. It is two story with a moving sidewalk sloped between the floors. I highly suggest looking at the store map on their app or inside the store.

Worst Customer Service ever. Go to Home Depot or Lowes it might be cheaper there at Menards but good luck getting help finding it.

Found exactly what I was looking for.A merv 11 furnace filter 16 x 25 x 3 for a good price. These last about a year.

I asked 2 sales associates where something was. They werent 100% sure but they lead me to the general area and I found what I needed. The cashier was nice and friendly. I left with what I went for. I enjoy shopping here and just browsing around.

This retailer has a major scam of listing items on their website as being available in the store. When you arrive to find it is not only not in the store, but is discontinued.Talk about wasting the time of a former customer!

Some good bargains for instance cypress mulch and featured sales items -- not as much choice in inventory nor the quality you can get at Lowes and even Home Depot. Their 11% rebate program very slow processing expect to wait 6 to 8 weeks t o get it.

To shorten the story, what started as a good experience turned ugly & humiliating when an employee, who wasnt involved in our checkout came over & accused us of stealing although our cashier was patiently waiting for the system to catch up to all of the items wed purchased. The other employee came over and repeatedly hit keys (possibly interfering with the systems calculation) and then he grabbed our bags, looked at us accusingly and started removing the items. Sad part is the cashier who waited on us never spoke up & my husband & I got upset, walked out & had to leave school supplies for 350 backpacks for needy neighborhood kids. This was the LOVELAND OHIO store...weve asked corporate to review the cameras. Perhaps this area of Ohio is not as inclusive as the rest of Ohio. How sad!

I love Menards. Yesterday, my husband and I went to buy a low-end range to take with us. The process didnt go well. The employees are so kind & helpful. There is a communication glitch within the store.

They have everything fully stocked with great prices.

Ordered left hand interior door with bore and edge prep. the door knob hole centered to end of door is 2 7/8, it should of been 2 3/4. i typed this the whole time my phone was ringing for customer service with no answer. i hope someone reads this and helps me.I waited for someone in doors to pick up the phone, i hung up after 15 minutes.

Not the best shopping experience today. I love Menards, but need an electric cart to get around. I limped around the store and finally got one when I went back to front of the store. While it appeared to be ok and got me around for a bit, it did die on me and I was stuck at aisle 46. Coaxed it to nearly the front in limp or snail mode.Cart worker was pretty nice. The lady stocking outdoor plants (wilted) wasnt very interested in me or my questions. I did see her help a couple a few moments later.Checkout ladies were quite nice and very patient.

Positive shopping experience in nearly every way. Inflated prices (probably not as bad as the other big box stores) keep it from being a five. Wish they had more locations

Completely incompetent! Ordered and paid for materials. After being told I would be contacted when materials arrived, never received contact. I called the store and was informed that the special order arrived days ago. I made arrangements to pick up my purchase, only to be told my whole order was not available and that I could drive to Florence Ky if I wanted my purchase. Horrible customer service and I will never use this company again. What a joke.

Save Big Money at Menards... Its quite decent as far as building supplies. Its a cross between Home Depot (warehouse) and Lowes (showroom). Prices are decent and help is generally available.

One of the best menards Ive ever been in so much product, huge selection. Im sure the staff is helpful too. I just never have had any interaction with them. They let service dogs in as well. Love that coming from a huge animal lover.

Imagine a DIY and craft junkie set loose in a store full of tools and there you have it. I can normally find what I need and sometimes things I don’t need 😂. I just recently purchased some raised flower beds with greenhouse tops at a great price. The lines move pretty quickly and the prices are comparable to other places. The only issue I have is the customer service. It’s not consistent so I never know when I’ll get helped with or without a bad attitude. That’s the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. I love when they have the 11% rebate on items and even though some employees could be nicer I’m going to recommend the store to others.

Menards, seems to me, that they hired the friendliest people, I dont know how they do it !! I went to the menards in Loveland and bought cabinets, Ariel was so patient and helpful. When Ariel was not working Peggy was Indispensable for us.Today I went to the menards in Evendaie Ohio and all of their associates were equally as friendly and helpful.

This place is huge! They have a lot more than home depot plus they have a food section and is a high quality store fair priced and rebates available.

This has to be the most unorganized lumber yard i have ever seen. The girl at the gate was nice but clueless. I asked where to go to get pick up the stair stringers. She responds by saying not sure just pull in by the warehouse. After standing there for 20 minutes i just took it upon myself to search for them. No body around to help load or anything. Would never recommend the lumber yard to any one! An employee walked by i asked if he could give me a hand he said sorry i dont work in lumber, these guys are always no where to be found!

Long lines and no one to help you! Only one lane open makes the smaller hardware stores so much more appealing

The absolute worse customer service EVER! I ordered online and when I went to pick it up literally no one would help me until a nice man named Zo just happened to drive by on his forklift and stopped to help. The people that work in the online pickup need some serious customer service training. I had to call 3 times and finally just walked in and tried to find someone to help. Needless to say I will NEVER shop at Menards again. They need to teach their employees that were not doing them a favor by shopping there and we do have other options.

Wanted a dryer vent port, just the port and grabbed one I thought was just the port. Got up front, cashier took 5 minutes looking for it on her phone (no UPC), called a manager over to look who took another 5 minutes. While angry customers were leaving the line behind me, embarrassed for the Menards team. Finally they told me it came with an aluminum piece that was missing, they couldnt sell it to me without it. Took it back upstairs...found similar ones with the piece, but no extra aluminum piece laying around. Picked out one I didnt really want and brought it back down, told them they should just throw the incomplete one out since they couldnt just save time and frustration and mark it a couple of bucks and keep things moving.I dont see this as the fault of the cashier or the floor manager, but overall management. Id rather go somewhere where the folks at the register have leeway to get things figured out and moving along instead of wasting time over a single couple of dollar part.

Love Menards, their premium products seem to be good quality. Such as the Masterforce tools; they seem well made and last well. Thats from a DIY homeowners perspective not a pro using them everyday. I can usually find what I need.

Its a big place & they carry many things but if your looking for step railings. They dont have anything smaller than 6 foot. Also, they dont cut it. Wal-Mart doesnt carry them in the store but you can order one online.

My wife was looking for a door to replace. Menards has a decent selection of doors however their customer service is lacking. There werent many customers but it took some effort to find a store associate. Once we found the one he had little to no knowledge on how to sell us a door.We purchased our door from one of their competitors.

Very clean and quite a large assortment of items to choose from but they need more associates on the floor myself as well as two other people needed assistance and we all bombarded the same individual because there wasnt no one else at the time to assist the associates were scarce

I went to Menards to buy flooring which I ordered. Then I needed 4 planks of flooring for a project, my daughter was with me and asked an employee since the box was open did they sell the planks individually? She said yes. I took the paper for my $200 flooring order, the 4 planks, and a few other things to purchase.- when I got to the register I showed the cashier the photo of the sku. She also stated, yes they could sell it to me. When she could not get it to ring up she called someone over. He asked her if they could sell it she said yes, he then called the flooring dept and was told no they could not sell it. In the meantime this customer standing behind me was getting agitated and saying he had been standing in line for 10 minutes. It was a very embarrassing situation. I am going home to see if I can find the flooring I ordered so I can return the order I already paid for.I did call the store manager and he said they do not sell the flooring individually. This is why I will not do business with Menards,

Lots of cleaning wipes and hand sanitizers. Giant lit up holiday selection. Almost department store like. More enjoyable to walk in than other big warehouse stores.

Great selection, much more than Lowes or HD. They also have a better grasp on inventory as well as effective ordering and delivery of non stock items.Becoming a Green fan!
