Good dollar store but some have better items and others dont.

The staff is ALWAYS friendly. I go in regularly for shampoo and body wash. The store is clean and well stocked. There are multiple dollar stores, but I choose to shop here.

As far as a dollar store goes never had an issue, most items easy to find, and the staff although young and mostly teenagers (who use cell phones while working more than they should be) are for the most part happy to assist and knowledgeable about their inventory and locating specific items when you cant..HOWEVER MY ONLY ISSUEJust last night on 10/22/20, the cashier, a friendly young man, must have forgotten to put A bag of mine he packed, where Id see it & I left without one bag... I got home & over $20 of items I had purchased, were missing..... Then realized an entire bag was unaccounted for.....I hightailed it back there & it was a ghost town, nobody answering the phone either..... Not placing the entire blame on the cashier but had he been slightly more attentive he wouldve seen my bag & alerted me. I plan on going there later this morning when they open & hopefully they took notice & put my bag to the side incase I return knowing that I paid for it..... only worry I have is getting the items I paid for & praying no issues come about as well as just hoping for smart and efficient action by seeking out camera footage of my visit last night. Thatll be the quickest way to provide evidence that I left my paid for items behind and I can get my things and go about my business. Will update the situation in the future.

It is close to home. The customer service is great. Plenty of parking and brand name products at good prices.

So its one of those dollar stores where nothing is actually just one dollar, I dont think theyre even generally a dollar! Aside from that the aisles are a hot mess, the employees personal business is too loud and the line is too long. Its a dollar store.

We have two Dollar Generals in our area. Sorry to say but this store is in much better shape than the one in Tri State Mall.

Did not have the candy Goobers that I was looking for.

This store needs to be laid out better. The staff is nice but its a toss up of finding things. I only go for things I actually know where they are in the store. Other wise youll find yourself in the soap aisle picking up socks.

I shop here to pick up my babys food, cashiers are very helpful and fast with getting you the right formula from the back because it always seems to be sold out off the shelf when I get there lol.

I go to the Dollar General store all the time . This is a New Dollar General which is in Claymont off of Philadelphia Pike . Customer service is good. My only issue is, my digital coupons seem like they dont work. In the beginning the coupons worked perfectly, Now it seems like the most I get off is a dollar or two. Which sucks! Overall nice store.

I love 💘 this store! It always has something I need. Whether it is eggs, spices, or cookie 🍪 mix. Lately they have had a big stock of Betty Crocker kitchen utensils and bowls. They are the perfect price to outfit my tiny cooking space. Plus, they have a good selection of health and hygiene products. Where else can you spend $10 and leave with 5 or 6 bags?!

Really like this place. They have almost everything I need and great prices. The staff is really nice too and they dont hound you and bother you the whole time youre there. So glad they put one close to where I live.

Always have what I need as well as national brands. Dollar General is much more organized than Family Dollar. Cashiers are fast so that you can get in and out.

ITS a good place to shop

The cashier is unfriendly and rude at times. Milk was old. She had no remorse. Wouldn’t even make eye contact. She is the main one always there. Maybe she thinks she owns the place. All of my people complain that her attitude makes it less than desirable to be a customer there. Horrible. We now go to Naamans Road. They are the friendliest!

The black guy at the register is rude and has a smart mouth with the customers.

I come here often mainly for toiletries and the Motts juice for my daughter. Another person reviewed the same issue I have with the digital coupons. When they first opened the coupons worked well, but for the past 2 months they seem not to. Otherwise like the convenience of them being so close, holds me over until I can get to Target and Walmart.

I was standing in line & a young man or possibly teenager was on his cell phone while assisting a customer. When that person left I stood there watching him scroll through his cell phone. He finally looked up at me & said, Whats up. I am decades older than him & I dont know him, so he should never address an older adult let alone a customer that way. Everyone there is either rude or unprofessional except for the manager. I will not be going there again.

Watch the “Price Slipping” ( when 7 dollar item is PURPOSELY placed in a 2 dollar space. Most people just go ahead and pay the higher price so they won’t have to wait.) Then when you pointed out they say you’re lying. You shouldn’t treat military vets that way!

The store is ok. Its a pretty new store. Just watch out for this one particular Manager (black guy, tall, i think he wears glasses) that always tries to cheat u out ur money by over pricing the merchandise or ringing up ur merchandise twice. Make sure u check your receipt. This manager is very sarcastic as well. He shouldnt even be a manager. And he doesnt like to double bag ur heavy items. This dude acts like he paid for the bags out of his check. Also they need to get better with restocking the shelves. Theyre always out of something.
