I am very pleased with everything from start to finish! An automatic starter was placed on my car, its definitely going to come in handy for the cold weather!

I purchased a Rockford fosgate system for my harley 2 years ago. I spent 3k and received great service. I really felt comfortable seeing the equipment in person. have called both the Kirkwood highway and claymont stores to ask what new systems they have for my new bike. Both times I was answered by salesmen who were unable to answer the most basic questions. Both were short, and just shy of rude as though my call was an inconvenience. Its a shame they have gone so far down hill. I will be purchasing online from now on.Updated- I called and spoke with Marlo. He answered every question I had, and was super knowledgeable about my needs. I will be going to the store today to select my system. It seems as though the previous employee I was dealing with did not reflect the overall service of the company. Very happy.

I would give them zero stars if possible. Sounds of tristate installed an alarm on my car at the Clamont store. The installation was sloppy. The panels they removed for the install weren’t reinstalled correctly, my headlights weren’t working, and then my side markers weren’t working. I took the car back initially because my headlights weren’t working, they did repair it but tried to say it wasn’t there issue. Once the headlights were working again the side markers weren’t working. I the car back again and after going back and forth they fixed them. Now the alarm doesn’t work at all. I went to speak with a “manager “ to request the alarm be removed from my car and he says he has to charge me to remove it. What a scam! My vehicle was problem free when it arrived.

Very dissatisfied, I needed the front door speakers replaced and the rear speakers on the package tray replaced. When I picked up my car the radio was faded to the rear and was told I needed to replace my radio to bypass amplifier for the front door speakers in order to hear the front ones.I took my car to another car stereo specialist shop and they found the front door tweeter speakers were not connected back up and the door speakers were wide range speakers not replaced to match the range of existing bad ones. I had to spend more money for the door tweeters to be reconnected and kept the door speakers they replaced in order not to spend even more money.Ill never go there again. Or recommend Sound of Tri state.

I am very happy with the work these guys have done. The recommendations that were make to upgrade the sound in my vehicle were spot on to what I was looking for. The installation was done very well with no exposed wires and they even hide my amp in a compartment on my trunk area to give it a nice, clean look.

Tried Best buy. After about 15-20 minutes trying to talk to someone, anyone, I hung up and searched for alternative help. Marlo answered on the second ring and had a solution and an install price I was happy to hear. Took me right away, and had an associate, Jay, give me a ride home. Later, they called to say theyll be completing the install shortly and I may want to make my way back to the shop. I let them know I needed a ride and they let me know Jay, at least, wasnt available. I said Id work it out somehow, but 5 minutes later, Marlo called to say an Uber was in its way. I said that was a great help and to add the Uber cost to the bill. Marlo refused.Ill be back for the next purchase ASAP. What fine service all around!

I have been going to this SOT location for the better part of 15 years for car audio parts and service. Ive had no less than 5 headunits (single and double din), amps, speakers, backup cameras, remote start/lock/unlock etc installed in everything from classic trucks to Crown Victorias. Well I have been taking my Harley-Davidson there for about 5 years when ever I need any work done for any sound done and the staff is just great! From the time you walk in to the time you leave. The other day I got a system and I took it home and I was going to put it in myself. Well. I ran into a cpl of glitching and called on the phone and they walked me through it. Well I got through them but later ran into more so I called back and asked if I brought it in could they just hook up the rear part of the system. Even though I had no apt they said yes bring it in and they would take care of me. I brought my bike in and I believe Steve his his name ( the gentleman that does all the work on bikes )comes out and sees my problem right away and takes care of it and also tells me which wires are not needed for the new system. So after this trip I will be letting them straight out the mess I made of things and get rid of the bird nest I have under my fearing. Which I would have done to begin with if I was not going on a trip. THEY ARE THE BEST ! GREAT FOLKS TO DO BUSINESS WITH

Guys seemed real cool at first, told me I could bring my car right over same day as my speakers arrived. I took my car to Sound of Tri-State to have an automatic starter put in and all of my windows tinted. My windows turned out great and I love them! The starter was great for the first few days but then I noticed the center console of my car wasnt turning off, even with the keys out of the ignition and the car locked. This caused my car to die overnight and me needing to get the battery of my car replaced 6 days later. I called up Tri-State and brought the car back so they could look into the issue. They found it was an electrical issue with the starter and replaced it with no extra charge! They also refunded me money towards the new battery I had to get! Everyone I came in contact with there was so helpful and friendly (especially Marlo, who basically helped me with everything). Also, the place was very clean and everyone wore masks and social distanced, so I felt very safe. :)

TRI STATE allowed me to upgrade my stereo selection even after shipping and refunded my money promptly, waiving all fees.

I bought the Pioneer DMH-2660-NEX and the Idatalink Maestro RR2 along with the SU2 Harness for my 2018 Subaru Wrx. Unfortunately they did not have the gloss black dash install kit for my vehicle but I was able to source that cheap from another retailer. Everything is working flawlessly and its amazing how I still have all my factory features and even more!!!! My vehicle before only told me if my tire was low, not actually what pressure was, but with the Pioneer headunit and Idatalink it reads the tpms and tells me the actual pressure. Not to mention Android Auto is awesome!!! No issues at all installing, very easy to order, and with Affirm Financing I was able to split up my payment and save over $750 out of my pocket all at once and instead make easy $68 monthly payments! I will definitely look at Sound of Tri-State first before ordering from any other audio retailer!!!!

All work is professionally done. Staff is great, and work with you . I have had a stereo upgrade installed, and windows tinted. Traveling around is much more enjoyable.

What can I say. I did not anticipate it taking over 3-4 months to find a Rockford Fosgate T600-4, but I found Sound of Tri-State and they had it to my front door within 48 hours so I have no complaints. Just wish I was a little closer so I can get some assistance with this install

Ordering from this company was nothing but frustration. I ordered a $900 stereo from Sound of Tri-State and was not informed that the item would be shipped signutere required. The issue is that I work till 10pm and cant be there to sign. Tried contacting UPS to have the stereo dropped off at a UPS drop off center so I can pick it up but UPS stated that SoTS had to change the drop off location and I couldnt do it as tge custome. Contacted SoTS and they told me that they could not change the location to a UPS drop off center. Contacted UPS again and UPS stated that SoTS could change the location as UPS has a contract with SoTS. Contacted SoTS again, and was told by shipping that they could change the location but would not because gheire a small business and worried about fraud. This is BS. Now I have $900 tied up in some company for the next 2 weeks because they refuse to help those who try to support them by making big purchases.Should have just ordered from Cruchfield. At t least Cruchfield is willing to work with their customers, and I wouldnt have had to deal with this.Customer support sucks and is non existent when they say that they can change the location to a drop off center, but wont.

Horrible customer service. Overpriced installation. Said they didn’t have a certain kit in stock so called their DE store where I was told to go. When I got there they did not have the kit for the head unit and after explaining I had been at the Folsom one and someone called to check, I was told no one ever called to check.

I bought a Groupon for a remote car starter. It was absolutely worth the money. I have been wanting one for awhile now. I don’t know how I ever lived without one! The guys from SOTS were super nice and knowledgeable. They spoke with me through the day about updates and showed me how to use the remote. They were professional, kind, and efficient. This is a very well stocked and large store. Many displays and listening stations, you can test and compare just about everything before you buy. The selection is huge and the prices and options are much better than the big box stores and online giants. Extended warranties are available, they are extremely knowledgeable and polite. My wife got a remote start here through Groupon a year ago. I got mine just a few weeks ago and we both love it. All the work was completed in a day. There were no surprise costs. Everything that you needed was explained first and then the work was done. Remote start is definitely worth it if you park outside in PA during the winter.

Recently we purchased the automatic car starter on Groupon. The package included install and 2 keys. The voucher I showed them was suppose to cover everything. I called ahead and asked how long it would take and if the voucher was all I needed to get it done. They said yes, about 2 hours if that and scheduled my appointment. I dropped my car off that morning, they took 8 hours because they forgot to call me, charged me an extra $150 for a key that was suppose to be included and hung up when I called to speak with a manager about the situation. Im pleased with the starter but service was terrible!!

I took my new Ram Truck to the Kirkwood highway location to have the windows tinted, step rails, accent lights and a new stereo installed Everything was so professionally done. I just want to say that i put these guys thru a lot of hell getting the sound that i wanted and they were all great. My 2013 Honda Civic Premium Audio STOCK sound system basically sucked. This place is horrible!! Do not go here or order anything from here online. They sent the wrong head unit for our car 300 dollars we paid. We only opened the box and realized it was the wrong one. Paid 50 to return the item and they would not refund any money at all. Also they were extremely rude when we called. Horrible customer service! Needed to buy a center console radio upgrade with a DVD and rear view backup camera package. The staff was amazing in breaking down the available options.
