While rent a center may be a good fit for some it certainly is not for everyone if you live by principle. I was being asked to sign a membership waiver and pay $12.99 for this membership that did not apply to me or my situation. When asking if they could change the docu sign document so I could sign the “decline membership” line I was told they could not do this and then subsequently was informed they no longer felt safe renting to me. Absolutely unbelievable. A large company such as this forcing people to sign up for a membership is absolutely ridiculous and a money maker on their end. For myself, I will never return or recommend this business. Always read your contract regardless who it is with so you know what you are really signing.

So Ive used the Clayton rent a center a lot! And I absolutely love working with Yahaira and Tori. Every time I either call up there with a question or need something new theyve always got me. Thank you for your constant help. 🥰😁

Wonderful experience from start to finish. We needed to rent a fridge/freezer for our tenants when ours had issues. Yahaira helped us and she was so amazing. Went way above and beyond to get this done professionally and expediently from the paperwork to the same day delivery. I will definitely be coming back here if the necessity arises.

I normally don’t leave detailed reviews but this warrants one. My dad became unexpectedly ill and needed an electric recliner for comfort. I messaged RentACenter in Clayton late on a Sunday night, first thing Monday morning I received a phone call from Yahaira who made it happen same day!!! Not only was she sympathetic and caring toward my father’s needs, she made us feel like we were her most important customers. I was able to easily reach her with any questions and I felt like she genuinely wanted to help us during this difficult time. She went above and beyond to make sure the recliner was delivered with care especially during COVID. The young man who delivered it took the time to teach my elderly father how to use the chair and answer any questions while maintaining proper social distancing and using PPE to keep my immunocompromised dad safe. My father was able to get out of bed and spend time with family in the living room while remaining comfortable. I am grateful to Yahaira and her team for making this happen and would absolutely reach out again for any other needs.

The manager Tori is very rude to customers. She likes to over talk and get loud on the phone with customers and when you ask her about it or tell her about it she gets defensive and lacks professionalism as a manager. I was more than happy to give them a payment but the manager refused because she did not like how I spoke to her after she spoke to me disrespectfully I will never recommend this Rent-A-Center to anyone Tori needs job management she’s completely unprofessional and rude and downright nasty

The most amazing experience I have has in a really long time. Mrs Jahira is the most helping genuine person . very polite so helping . An made sure i got the couch of my dreams. The delivery man was awesome took pride in what he did an made sure my couch was very well put together . Him an Mrs Jahira worked very hard putting together my beautiful couch. I couldnt be more pleased with my service! Would totally recommend this company!!
