I havent bought a car from you so dont want to give a bad review but do want to comment. Mainly because have followed your company for a few years and planned to use you to buy an R33 GTR as they become more available. The newest review is 8-10 months ago. Something tells me they are going to continue to go down. I honestly think it is a bad business decision to switch to special order only. 95% of people buying cars dont have $50k laying around and will have to finance which is harder when the car hasnt been imported yet. If you have enough high end clients to keep you floating maybe it will work. Good luck to you.

The very first and still leading importer of JDM sports cars. They have been importing more than 500 units since 2014 ! Although many un professional importer or broker bring GTRs, non of them keep the business long and stable manner. This is the best proof why they are still the most reliable dealer in JDM imports.

I went down to Florida to help with hurricane Irma, reaching out to them to see if it would have been possible to just see and sit in an R32 after we were done working. And what do ya know? Was interested in buying a skyline from these guys. The sales guy who I dealt with didn’t allow test drives. I’ve driven the skylines before so no biggie. I wanted the car inspected at my shop of choice though. They were so against this that the deal fell through! I even offered to let them take the car to the shop that still was a no go! I just bought a 91 GT-R from the guys at Montu Motors and it was a great, quick experience. They negotiated a price, and I am incredible happy with the car. A few days After buying it, I found out it had a headlight out so I called the guys at Montu and they took time to look at the car, and got me an HID headlight kit at NO CHARGE. They know what great customer service is and when I get another import, this is the only business I’m going to.

Based on their quality of cars and company reliability they were an easy choice. During the purchase of the Skyline I got to know the sales staff and mechanics well, I trusted them to work on my car replacing the timing belt before I received the car. Bought a low-mileage GT-R V-Spec from Montu without looking at it in person. Once in my possession, I discovered several issues that were surprises to both myself and Montu (significant rust, collision history, returned to stock, etc.). Montu couldve told me I was SOL, but worked with me to reach a compromise. In the end, I paid a lot of money for a low-mileage car with a history and rust issues, while Montu maybe broke even on the deal. There were no real winners, but Montu couldve really screwed me yet chose not to. My advice: be sure to look at the car in person (which they encourage everyone to do), and ask lots of questions. Montu cares about their customers and strives to do the right thing.

Easily the best dealer experience Ive had. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable, and purchasing process was VERY quick and easy. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to import a car! They have financing options on their site which was very helpful and insurance was no problem once they verified the 11-digit VIN. They had the title in hand, so I didnt have to wait!!!

This was by far the best car buying experience I’ve ever had. I bought my 89 R32 Skyline back in November, I drove 12 hours from Memphis just to make a dream come true. The buying process is extremely easy, they do everything for you, all you have to do is cut the check! They give you all the paperwork necessary to make your trip to the DMV A one time go process. I had issues with my car initially (of course because it’s 30 years old) their Tech is very knowledgeable from front to back on every car in their inventory. I had issues with my AFM’s and had parts within two days to get my car back on the road running the streets. Any kind of parts or car knowledge, they have the answer. I will most definitely be back down to see them once the R34 is legal!

I purchased a 1992 Mitsubishi Evolution GSR from Montu in April 2018. I did a ton of research before buying, close to 6 months. My dream car has always been an MKIV Supra. After months of extensive research I decided to go to Montu Motors for my purchase and I am happy to say it has been the absolute best decision. Needless to say, with a 26 year old car like mine, there are always going to be details here and there that will require some attention in order to make a car yours. In my case, I had to deal with Maryland safety inspections, which is a huge ordeal and extremely difficult to pass for older vehicles - when I took my Supra to get it inspected, they flagged me for a few items, and Sam and Jack at Montu Motors offered to help me with the unforeseen expenses. This made the experience all that much better because they were there for me even after the purchase of the car. I called this place ready to buy a Gtr and honestly they were not very helpfull. It seemed as if they had no interest in selling. Almost every time i asked if price was negociable they would always saythere is plenty of interest in this vehicle, there is not much roomin a very arrogant manner.Askking questions only got me minimal info. The cluster on vehicle is replaced but not disclosed in description. I instead went with RHD Specialties. So far nothing but great things to say about them. The owner was more than willing to answer all my questions before i even mentioned the fact that i was ready to buy. I would totally recomend RHD if your looking for a GTR or any JDM vehicle.
