I had the best experience at Target Optical today. I had never been in to the optics center before so I had no idea how things worked, especially since I was coming in with a prescription. Jenna was the associate that helped me from start to finish and she was phenomenal! She was upbeat, kind, very informative and patient, especially with my two young kids who were very excited and crazy. I found a very cute pair of glasses at an extremely reasonable price and I would highly recommend Target Optical to anyone in search of new glasses! 10/10
Very friendly service! Dr. Fekete is wonderful and took the time to discuss all her findings, gave me some eye health advice and gave me the opportunity to ask questions. Jenna the Optician was so friendly and helpful. The eyewear selection is much better than I expected. Target Optical is clean and well maintained.

Im terrible with changing my contacts like I should. However, with Covid I wasnt able to go when I needed to have my check up and restock of contacts. I lost my final, and severely old, pair. I called Target Optical and they got me in straight away, same day. Everyone was super friendly and took great care of me. I saw one of the eye doctors, Dr. Zacharopoulos, and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. I love the Clearwater Target Optical!

My experience was awful. The eye dr was having a terrible time trying to get the lens correct on my eyes. The one eye was still not right. He told me to squint so I could read the letters. The purpose if eye glasses is to not squint. Needless to say, I got no glasses and a very bad eye exam.Do not recommend.

I loved my experience from eye exam to ordering my new pair. Everyone was very very nice. I think I got better service here than at my previous eye doctors and the prices are very reasonable.
I had an appt at 10 am this morning. Unfortunately, I woke up with a sore throat and cough. My son had a cough yesterday so I knew that we should get COVID tested. I promptly canceled my appt on my phone and took myself, my 4 year old, and 19 month old to be tested. I called Target at 10am as soon as they opened to explain the situation. They still charged me a cancellation fee. This seems like poor policy. Should I have come in to the office while showing symptoms? While waiting for my test results? This is how the virus is spreading. I am cautious and considerate of others and doing my part. I don’t have spare income to be charged for doing what I was supposed to do. There should be flexibility to make a better judgment call here.
Great in store experience. Wife and I were in and out within an hour as first time contact wearers. Very kind helpful staff. Highly recommended. Only problem is online appt making. Site does crash occasionally

A man named Jim did an amazing job assisting us! He took the time to make sure he got the cost down using my insurance and in-store discounts. He went above and beyond to make sure my contacts were delivered to my apartment when I got back from my vacation. The shipping was completely free- which is convenient because you dont have to go back to the store to pick them up. Very pleased with the customer service!
Poor customer service, and poor frame quality. Was told that I need to come in often to have my glasses “adjusted” so that they stayed on my face. I have never had this problem before, and I’ve been wearing glasses for a little over 20 years. My mother was told the same thing, and had completely different glasses, different brand, so it wasn’t a specific frame issue. The average person does not have time to go get their glasses “adjusted” all the time. I have to agree with the other poster about Walmart quality at a Target price.
We were in a crisis when my daughter glasses were loose doing her softball tournament. “Us as parents” trying to repair them with our tools couldn’t do it. 30 minutes waisted trying to repair them and we also lost the screw. lol...We decided to go to Target and they were life savers. It took them less then 10 minutes to repair and so kind to help us. We were back at the fields less then 20 min. Thank you so much Target! You saved the day and that is what you call customer service.
My girlfriend and I had an amazing experience here all thanks to MAIRIA ARNOLD. She was very helpful and extremely friendly. I would recommend going to see her for any of your optical needs.
If you want a phenomenal experience ask for Jane! We have gont to Taget Optical for 3 consecutive years and have never been disappointed.
I brought my 11 year old to have his eyes checked. The optometrist there was very nice and patient. Answering all his questions. I highly recommend her.

Ive been goin there for the past 8-9yrs never really had a prob there. The people are nice they reordered my contacts and they came quicker than the last. They admitted to making a mistake (they told me I said nothing) on something else and I got a refund. They are good people...and Id recommend them to anyone for sure.
Always have great eye exams with Dr. Fakette, and they help with coupons for contacts and free samples of contact solutions.
I called Target Optical on a Friday and had a box of contacts put aside for me and the employee told me that the vision department closes at 8 pm. I got there that same day at 7:30 and a young kid was very rude and disrespectful telling me he couldnt sell the contacts because he had closed out the register. I then asked him,What time do you close?His reply, Around this time. I asked, What time was that? He says,7:30 pm. I then go get the managers, who were fantastic and excelled at customer relations, to help with the matter. The outcome was that I got to purchase my contacts. Im very disappointed that this employee blatantly lied to my face when I asked him what time optical closes.
The doctors are super nice, especially Dr Fekete. The optician assistants are super pushy and want you to order your contacts right away as soon as you put in your trial pair. Its so annoying. Then they will call you and leave a 3 minute voicemail about how you need to make an appt or order them over the phone. If there wasnt another target closer to my house then Id go to a different one.
Everything seemed to be okay and in control. There were some people on the outside handling various things but they didn’t really impact my experience. Overall, things went well and I received my new glasses before I expected.
Made appointment on line two weeks ahead of date. Showed up and they told me I needed to prove my appointment as they did not have it on record. The doctors assistant was rude and said they would get me in if I “could prove” my appointment. She was disrespectful and rude as I could not find my confirmation text and this said I was lying and refused to get me in. Very frustrating experience and left without the exam.
I had a phenomenal experience with the staff at this office. From their optometric tech, Aaron, to the sales team, and to my exam with Dr. Coates. They were all very friendly, and accommodating. The exam itself was in depth, and I had all my questions answered without feeling rushed. Dr. Coate is knowledgeable and helped me understand the status of my vision, along with my current eye health.I scheduled a same day appointment, and waited no longer than 20 or so minutes. I was out the door with my eye perscription, and with information about frames and lenses.Pertaining the selection of frames, They are decetly priced, and competitive against modern day online retailers, but I will say the selection is limited in shape style. Though there are is a large quantity, many styles are identical, only differed by slight variations of color. I could not find a frame that fit my face well, and those that did, were of either material or color I did not prefer. If I had one recommendation, it would be to diversify the shapes a bit more for the consumers. I am pretty certain awhole shelves full of near identical rectangle frames, or excessive oakley frames only limit the chance for customers to be able to walk out of your store with all their needs met. For reference, I only saw 4 medium to thick rounded frames with a glossy polycarb making. Luxoticca has a monopoly on frames, there has to be a better solution.
My vision plan limits where I can go - and Targets antiglare coating quality is terrible. Target is remaking the lenses a second time - without the poor quality coating - but would not refund the antiglare cost (they told me the first time to just come back and they would refund the antiglare cost - but did not tell me a time period applied). Check out the ability to reach Target Optical customer service before you deal with them - the phone takes you nowhere, the website instant chat says nobody is available, and the email requires you to select a subject - and there is no customer service or complain option. Guess we know how much they stand behind their product....
The doctor and the rest of the staff do a great job making sure you get what you need.
I had to move to Clearwater, Fl so I was looking for a good eye doctor in the area for a yearly check up. When I went in for my appointment, the doctor was very nice. I wore my new contact lenses for a month. Now, before I went here, my previous doctor prescribed Air Optix for astigmatism. They were monthly contacts and were perfect for my eyes. This doctor prescribed me Acuve Oasys for Astigmatism which were bi-weekly contacts. They were fine at first but soon I realized that my eyes were drying out and that the lenses were a little rougher material wise. Not to mention that they were also more expensive. I went to the Target Optical later and explained to the doctor that they were bothering me and if she could prescribe me some Air Optix with the same power instead because for some reason I had to get that brand specifically. She wouldnt listen. she told me that the Air Optix were the brand that she prescribed to me and that was what she was sticking to. She said if it really bothered me that I would have to make another appointment and get refitted. (at a price of course)....It made me so frustrated. Contacts work differently for people. One brand may be suited for one person but not the other. Different brands are made with different material. It all depends on the persons eye and what its comfortable with. Im pretty sure this lady just likes the kickbacks she gets from the brands that she prescribes. Im going back to my old doctor even if it means to go drive two and a half hours. I understand that I would have gotten to get refitted and I would have done so, but I could tell by the doctors body language that she wasnt going to change her mind.
I ask is they could fix an arm on my glasses several months old, that I bought at this store. Sales person said they cant fix it I need a new frame. Seems like you could fix it in 3 minutes with the right tools to me. What a rip off. I think I going to try a new place.

I called to ask if we could walk-in and was shut down immediately. Very rude! If you dont want walk-ins then dont accept them.
The first pair was made incorrectly and Im still waiting for my glasses to come in after 12 days!
