I had one of the best experiences yesterday. The staff was not only professional and helpful, but also really friendly, with a sense of humor.I was excited that the Dr (Dr Graham..., I believe) spent additional time explaining things, took time to answer my questions, and even settled my need to understand the anatomy of what we were looking at.Now, what REALLY impressed me is how well he treated the staff. It is one thing to treat customers or patients well, but how you treat your staff is another thing I watch for... There was a person in training while I was there and, as with the other staff, the Dr was supportive, patient, took time to show and explain things, and he used calming language to do that. (Yes, I am one of those sensitive types 😉.) I felt comfortable with the sales floor staff and had a few laughs with them as well.Thank you for showing me that patient care and customer service arent dead yet.

I took my son to Eyeglass World because his he was having trouble reading the board in school. He got an eye exam and 2 pair of glasses, he was so happy. The customer service was EXCELLENT especially the employee Kayla. The process was easy, informative and inexpensive. I also got 2 pair of glasses, and brought my other son in a couple weeks later for a pair. Highly recommended. The only place I will go from now on.

Kayla Newton. Was exceptionally aware of the need for Me and my grandsons. She was very knowledgeable of what was best for us. I was very impressed when she could just look at our glasses and knew what type of lens we need. She was very courteous and friendly. She is very professional and will definitely be returning.

I had my glasses made here after getting a script from an optometrist elsewhere. When I tried the new prescription I found that it was not a comfortable or functional strength and the style of lenses (baby progressives) did not work for my lifestyle and I could not see well enough to do my job. Eyeglass world gave me a complimentary exam with Dr. Graham who was helpful and pleasant and listened to what I had to say. They remade my glasses with the script from Dr. Graham at no extra cost and the new pair works perfectly.I highly recommend this location for their customer service and willingness to make mistakes right, even if the mistake wasnt made by their office

Oh my they were awesome, went to the Glass World on Gulf to Bay in Clearwater, Fl.. Recently had cataract surgery and implants of lens’s but was not able to see distance. Got a prescription from my eye doctor and was under as time crunch to get glass’s to see to drive. Could not read road signs. Walked into Glass World and they assured me they had my lenses prescription in stock and would happily put them into my old frames—(which saved me some money) I waited there for about 15 minutes and Wha La I had glass’s and they were perfect.Even if you don’t have your own frames—- they have walls of frames to chose from and at great prices too.The place is awesome and on my next prescription I will be going back there for sure.

Had my annual checkup just yesterday. The doctor, Ben Graham, O.D. was so kind, pleasant and most important-thorough! He took the time to inquire about my concerns and overall health as it relates to my vision and I appreciate that because more often, these visits can feel like an assembly line. The assistant who welcomed me and did my precheck eval. (Lisa) was also pleasant, knowlegdeable and caring. At the end, Selena processed my new prescription with a smile, friendly chat and overall a great experience! Thanks guys

I am very happy to have found Eyeglass World! First of all Dr. Graham is excellent and he gave me the name of an eye condition I have had 40+ years and no other doctor has identified (or at least told me the name for). We have worked with several of the staff in picking out frames and ordering the glasses and they have all been so nice and helpful, especially Kayla, Brittany (?), John, and Beth the optometrist. They worked very hard and spent a lot of time to help me with my new glasses. I was trying to get wrap around Rx sunglasses and as it turns out my eye is not able to adjust to the rounded lenses. They tried having the glasses remade with Rx matching my regular glasses, they tried adjusting in a variety of ways, in the end, they cheerfully refunded my money when it did not work out. I will certainly go back to them when next I need glasses.

My visit to Eye Glass World for an eye exam was an absolute pleasure. From the greeting at the desk by the beautiful Optometrist Assistant, Lisa Simons, to Dr. Ben Grahm, OD. They were professional and very caring and courteous during my two day visit. I would highly recommend them.

Rx totally off but this is where I spent my insurance dollars. The dr is like 150 years old and the wait was over 2 hours WITH an appointment. The front office girl was rude as can be, just to get in the door. Now I have to wait another year to be examined and have it covered by insurance. Do not waste your money here.

In the many years weve been going to Eyeglass World, today was the first time we were told about my husband being able to get a free pair of glasses. What a blessing Selina was! She walked us through the process and we left satisfied and completely informed of all charges. The staff in the doctors office was super-helpful in directing me to some glasses that were not displayed and helping me to understand my account. Theyre checking temperatures at the door.

I had some major issues with my eyes due to a medical condition and to change my prescription a few times last year. They were so helpful and patient with me and I will never forget them!!! Im from out of the area and my glass frame broke. I looked online and found that Eyeglass World had high ratings. I went there and found out why. A warm greeting as I walked in, quick service and a quick repair. When i asked how much I owed, I was told nothing, on the house. This is a quality store with great service....and covid precautions were clearly evident.

Everyone is super friendly! The whole experience was quick and fun, I came in to pick up my friends contacts and ended up getting an eye exam myself and purchasing two new pairs of glasses.

I recently moved from Clearwater to Houston. I called today to reorder my contact lenses and I spoke with Veronica. She was extremely patient with me. I had new insurance and did not know who it was with so Veronica kindly helped me look in to this. She was able to find my information and explain my vision benefits to me. They were kind. But there is a sign in front stating that if you are vaccinated you are not required to wear a mask. But when I went in to see the doctor, he made me put one on for the exam. I am vaccinated. They need to take down the sign or adhere to it.

January 2020 - I had THE BEST experience possibly of my life in purchasing glasses at this Eyeglass World location. Optician Beth is so knowledgeable. experienced, patient, kind and fun. PLUS my glasses with designer frames all the bells and whistles best progressive etc... were only $240 with the warranty (I have great insurance). Optical Outlet in largo same day was going to charge me almost $600. I am so very happy with my purchase. Beth you deserve a raise❣️

As someone who’s worn glasses or contacts since middle school, I can say BY FAR that eyeglass world provides the best experience AND the best value every time. I’ve shopped at vision works, for eyes, and on and on over the years. I’ve been going to eyeglass world for the last 3 years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. My last experience today was particularly and especially great. Alan was extremely personable and good vibes all around. Alan particularly made my shopping experience above and beyond the usual I’ve had there. 10/10 always would recommend to anyone shopping for contacts or frames.

I suppose it would be easy to give a 5 if you are just near sighted or far sighted. I need correction for both so I had to go back 4 times just to be able to see decent. Staff was all nice but a doctor shouldn’t tell me to just buy readers to wear with my contacts.I researched and found what would work best so I could see near and far with contacts in. I advised them of my findings and asked why they didn’t even give me options. With my recommendations I can now see but I wouldn’t have been able to if I didn’t demand options. I was too easily dismissed.

But you still owe me one pair of glasses! But you did a great job!

You can make appointments online. Never have to wait when Ive gotten there for an appointment. Large selection of frames and accept a lot of insurances. The location is super convenient as well.

Had a very bad experience at optical outlet. Son broke his glasses days before the shut down and now they expect me to pay full price again(460$). How do you not honor a warranty if your closed. Long story short eyeglass world put the new lens in the new frames costing me zero dollars. I cant believe there is still not greedy companys out there. Got my business from now on. Walked over to Eyeglass World, had a fantastic experience with the doctor there, and was out with only paying my $10 copay.No up selling here, just a friendly efficient team ready to help you. I just moved to town and needed to establish a relationship with an optometrist, and was in dire need of a new prescription. My vision coverage listed this location as a preferred provider and since it’s on my way to work I decided to give them a shot. Boy did I luck out!!! From checking in at the desk to the person who did my preliminary tests, and especially the doctor and general manager who ordered my glasses, every single person I came into contact with was outstanding. The customer service here could absolutely not be any better. They really care about the people that come to them for help and it shows. I highly recommend Eyeglass World on Gulf to Bay to anyone in need of new glasses or contacts. Top notch service from start to finish. Not to mention, I came in on Saturday and my glasses will be ready Monday!!!! I would give ten stars if I could.

I am absolutely amazed by the service here. They helped me. She gave me a pair of disposable lenses for free! I was able to get by and it increased the quality of my life today. I had a rescue dog stepped on my glasses. I had nothing. She scheduled my appointment because the Dr. was booked. They were going to try to fit me in when one customer didnt show. I just walked in & made an appointment. They are always professional, polite and they care. They have everything I need here and their service is superior.

Im sure for the majority of people that go here there visit will be fine. I made an appointment to have en eye examination after calling and confirming thay they took my insurance. After waiting 20 minutes, they inform me they do not take my insurance and the reason they tell people they do is because some policies allow out of network visits. Taking a specific type of insurance and the fact that some policies allow you to shop out of network are completely different things. A complete waste of time. Everyone was very nice, but Id rather have rude honest people than polite dishonest people.

I arrived a little early for my appointment on 03/1/18 and the tech took me back right away to do the forms and the beginning tests. The eye doctor saw me promptly as well. It was probably the least amount of time Ive ever had to wait to see a doctor. Luke helped me order my glasses using my insurance and said I could actually pick them up the next day. Probably the most convenient appointment Ive had.

Tammy Veronica and Selena were all 3 so very helpful And beautiful. I came in with my sunglasses nowhere could I find anyone to fix them and they did in just minutes. Im so happy.

Awful. I had an appointment there at 4:15 and when I arrived 5 minutes early the front representative told me to sit tight at the front and shed be with me in a minute. After 15 minutes of no help or checking in, I decided to walk around to look at the glasses. Finding the room in the back with the optometrist, the receptionist in the room told me that I was late to my appointment and they wouldnt be able to reschedule me for an entire week. Not only were they incompetent but at no point did I receive any type of apology for the situation or any urgency to get me rescheduled. I went down the street and was able to be seen immediately where they were polite and professional at Nationwide Vision

The staff here were very professional and helpful. I came in with my prescription from another optometrist and my sunglasses that needed the new prescription put into them. Nothing was too difficult for them. Within a couple hours I had already received a call to say my glasses were ready to pick up. They worked quickly, efficiently and did it with a smile.

Took the day off work to have mine and my daughters eye exams. Called the day before to confirm my appointments. I was not informed until I got there that they dont take either one of our vision insurance plans. Receptionist at the back office did not display what I would consider good customer service .

Here its is Friday, December 20th and I break my backup pair of glasses. I have no time to stop and shop around for the best deal. Nor time to see which optical place has same day service. I googled eyeglass world, I remembered the Owl. Bam, called them and not only did I get same day appt. I left with my new glasses too. Very reasonable and the staff was great too.

I went to Eyeglass world for an eye exam and to get my contacts. Prior to me coming into the office I called and asked for them to verify my benefits so that I could know how much to pay prior to my appointment. They advised me that it would be a $10 co pay for my eye exam and told me that the contacts were covered with my insurance!During the exam I confirmed again how much I would be paying and they said $10.00, in the middle of the exam I agreed to pay $19.99 for them to do an alternative test as opposed to dilating my eyes. I was walking out of the office assuming that I would be paying 30$ then the girl tells me that I have to pay $70!?! They charged me for a contact fitting, is that a joke? I should have been informed of this charge PRIOR to the END of my exam! especially after I have been confirming throughout the exam how much my total charges would be. I am very upset with the services that I received at Eyeglass World, I could have just continued going to Lens Crafters and pay $75.00 for an eye exam and a 3 month supply of contacts

My wife scuffed her favorite Ray-Bans and I went to Eyeglass World to check if they could polish the lens. Tammy the manager did one better and replaced the lenses with new Ray-Ban lens blanks without charge. Above and beyond the call of duty...

Place is a joke . First off, when you walk into a establishment to do buisness you would expect to be greeted with a smile and freindly hello. Not here. People just sit on their ass and when they do get up its like, o man, dam I have to work now attitude. Poor, poor customer service. Stay away ! . Trust me.

Veronica & Yvonne are great! I ended up having to make two trips to this location. The first visit was ok but it wasnt until I went home and reviewed my vision insurance policy that I realized there was a problem. I felt like I was being pushed into an expensive pair of glasses I couldnt afford, was given no other options and I wasnt being listened to. After speaking with Yvonne on the phone the next day, I went back up and dealt with her & Veronica. I am so glad I did. They managed to figure out that my prescription was completely wrong, have me retested and get me the right glasses. They listened to me and were able to get me what I needed. They were both so nice and did an amazing job for me.

OMG ok I Have prescription for my eyeglasses I choose the frame and by the end price was ridiculous 1800$ for what for HD transition 1800$ but the story it’s like this on beginning they say we don’t accept insurance and when I say the price it’s crazy cause the America vision prefer me 475$ for the same eyeglasses she said ok I give you 30% of with you Humana gold plus insurance how is that possible you just said that you don’t accepting insurance wowww PPL be careful down here

I love this location. After Lenscrafters tried to rip me off, I came here and never will go elsewhere. The staff is so friendly and always willing to help. The dr office is so quick and efficient. Staff is great there too. Im not sure about the previous negative reviews as Ive NEVER had anything besides stellar service...even if its its something as simple as an adjustment or new nosepads. My wife and I both bought eye glasses from this company for over $1000.and I considered that the cheapest.The quality of the frames: substandard,below average !Using mine for office use, never wearing them outside the arms fall out of the frames and no parts available ! They didnt break off or come unscrewed.They come apart from normal use.The first time I brought them to be fixed ? I asked if this was going to be a problem ?The sales person said oh no.Today when I went to have them repaired the sales said they dont carry parts.The glasses had already been replaced once for the same problem ! The gentleman waiting with me come to find out his son had the same exact issue.The frames arent abused or neglected,they come apart due to very poor design not broken apart but fell apart !I had a warranty and the glasses were replaced once for the same problem,under a year old replacement and they wanted to charge me for their poor quality absolutely no fault of mine !The frames are cheap junk !If anyone buys them, your likely the in for a very bad surprise like I suspected and found out along with another customer.We both agreed upon leaving, this is the last place to buy glasses, even if your rich ! They sell junk and dont back it up knowing their products are clearly junk and they dont last for the money !This is the last place in the Universe Id use !Im certain that if everyone voiced the truth about their cheap products and how they handle issues they would be out of business.My wife is 48 and I am 58 !We know what we are talking about and do not abuse our items.The sales person and the manager indicated they could care less !Its all about money,them getting it !Not common sense service and fairness to a customer willing to spend and did spend alot of money for glasses that should last at least year !My wife is very unhappy with hers also !The way these unprofessional rookies treat valid customer quality issues is pathetic !At least at Sams club they stand behind their products !I never had to return my glasses or my wifes for 7 years for quality issues and aggrivation like this !Beware future customers !!Dont waste your money and time !!Most of all,its not worth the aggrivation,the service or the products !Youll be saying, after reading this, if you go, he told me so, its junk ! I had a great experience with Eyeglass World from frame selection to the customer service when I picked up my new glasses. I had my annual eye exam at my eye doctor but have always found that the expense of buying glasses at my doctors office was really high so decided to try another option. I took my prescription with me to EW and Debbie was really helpful with navigating my insurance and HSA and even provided me the paperwork to submit to my insurance company for the deductible reimbursement. She was very knowledgeable and informative about my options - info that gave me the opportunity to make different selections than I had anticipated. I was told 7-10 business days and even with the holidays in the middle I had a call that one pair had come in early. When I was able to pick those up 3 days later the second pair had arrived as well. Debbie wasnt in that day but the young woman who helped me was just as helpful. In and out in a short time with new glasses. Will definitely use EW again and recommend them to everyone.

The appointment took 1.5 hours! I spent maybe 10-15 minutes with the doctor and the rest of the time was just waiting! I was charged even though clearly on my insurance it said that I would only have paid the co-payment. I felt like I was inconveniencing some of the staff, not exactly a warm and friendly place. Ive been to several eye doctors over the years and this by far was the most disappointing experience that nearly had me in tears. 1.5 hours when there was only 2 other people there is absolutely asinine. Not to mention it was kind of dirty trash on the ground and didnt clean some of the machines before used on me. Never again.

Consultation and Service is good but they have very limited collection of eyeglasses

Heres an update..... that Response by Owner non-sense. When I responded to their request that I reach out to them, NO RESPONSE.This place, and all other EyeGlass World stores are a genuine rip off. They advertise something that you cannot get by being dishonest about there ads and then they make up for it with really bad service and a we dont care attitude. The rating should be a ZERO, but they wont let you vote that low.See more below !Two pairs of glasses for $78? Right, my two pairs cost me $780 and I cannot wear them.Their people were useless when it came to consulting with them about lenses and they made up for their lack of knowledge by being rude!Of course this is just my opinion but there are much better places to get your glasses or contacts!!!!Try Innovision or LensCrafters - You have been warned, stay away from Eye Glass World!!!!

Terrible customer service. Any question I asked on the phone was Cant - impossible - No They were very happy to take my money when I bought glasses but they are unable to help, really.
