Best machine shop in texas if you ask me. Just dont expect them to have a fast turn around. They are backed up and busy because of how good they are. But I would rather it take them 6 months and have it done right than to have it done in a week and be stuck on the side of the road. They are also a little pricy, but you cant really put a price on their expertise. I will definitely be a repeat costumer.

Best place ever! Helped me drill a whole in a old bad camshaft. To make a light, an welded my harmonic balancer on it for the base. I was suprised when he weldes it on for free! This guy is a genuine man, and does excellent work! Highly satisfied!

Hands down the best machine shop in the Fort Worth area. I have used 2 other shops with less than satisfactory results. Eric is very helpful and the the work is of high quality and is done in a reasonable amount of time. I drive 45min to get there because I know it will be done right.

They are highly skilled machinist who can literally do almost anything you are wanting to do with your small V-twin, VW build to V8s and everything in between. Over the years, they have helped us create new CNCed products as well as have built several Chrysler 4.7L engines for us and our customers... I bought a set of used Lingenfelter CNC Ported and Polished 243 heads for my 06 GTO. I wanted to make sure they were in perfect shape, so I gave AMS a call and sure enough they were able to pressure test the heads, resurface/mill the heads to my exact liking, and installed my TSP Valvesprings Kit. It was not the cheapest place, but definitely provide QUALITY work. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone. Turnover was 2 DAYS! Super quick! Thanks guys!

Eric and the guys at Automotive Machine are the best around. I own Thunder Alley Cycles in Joshua. They are the only machine shop we use.

Had a small dirt bike cylinder I needed bored. These guys were the best prices in town and were easy to work with. Turnaround took a little longer that expected, but it was a holiday weekend, and the work was top notch. This is a working shop without front desk clerks, so dont be surprised if you cant always reach someone on the phone.

They may not always be the cheapest but if you are coming to automotive machine and supply you are coming for the quality. the shop i work at uses these guys for all our machining work we cannot preform in house and have never been let down. quality of service and work 5 of 5 stars, and the quick turnaround times are a big plus that keeps my customers happy. highly recommend this shop.-scott jr.

Took my ATV cylinder to get honed about 2 months ago, and nothing was ever done to it. The first two times i went to pick it up i was told it would be another two weeks first then three weeks. This is a simple job i do not think it should have taken that long. The last time i went, i was ignored as another customer was getting work done for him on the spot.

Great value and customer service.I have called around to quite a few automotive repair shops only to deal with overpriced, rude and entitled employees that wont take your work unless its worth their time. This is one that sold me within seconds of our phone conversation.I had rear axle seal leak on my Toyota SUV, dealership wanted $1,200 just for labor to replace the seals and press new bearings and seals in place.Brought my axles to Automotive Machine and Supply Inc. They were extremely knowledgeable, courteous and finished the job on schedule. All for about 1/10th of the cost of the dealership.Highly recommended!

Simply the best place there is to have this kind of work done with amazing follow up and knowledge. These guys know so much more than the rest of us about these motors yet talk to you at whatever level you are at. Better than excellent. More like poor to poverty.Just another machine shop looking to shake people down for all they got. Be careful with Steve Pool. He has tendencies to send psycho text messages if you do not pay! Kinda weird.... Avoid this place at all cost! Lots of other affordable machine shops in the DFW..trust.

Well today I asked my wife to go check on my cylinder head since I could not get a hold of Eric on the phone. He called me two weeks ago and said that he had started on it and would be done in a few days.I waited a week and no calls so I called and never got a call back. My cylinder head was dropped off Feb 4 and when she showed up today they had never touched it. I would never use them again. This is sad because they use to be such a good place. Guess times change.

I am from New Hampshire and had read great things online about AMS Machine & Supply and their AMS lifters for my Harley Twin Cam. I had complications on my install and called AMS for advice. Eric was extremely knowledgeable and spent considerable time over the phone and via email to help me sort these trouble out. I have been using these guys since about 98 when i owned a bunch of aircooled VWs and they always did me right. I have been using them lately to bore the cylinders on Harleys and other machine shop work for my shop and they have always done a great job and get the job done quickly.

Suggested two places to find the parts I was after without even having to ask. That kind of service is rare these days.
