So Happy to find this establishment. Took my wifes Singer Stylist sewing machine in to get a needle out that i dropped into the bobbin housing and couldnt get it out. Machine was turned around in a day working good as new. The review is 4 star only because theyre is always room for improvement. Thank You for your service in the Community

I purchased a Riccar vacuum at a good price on sale. He put it together for me out of the box and volunteered to deliver it to me free, because I lived near him. Ive worked with him previously on my other vacuum as well. The owner is professional and knowledgeable.

Great fast service. I drove here because my local vacuum shop in Virginia made me feel like they only wanted to sell me a vacuum. The owner of this store took the time to look at my machine and tell me exactly what was wrong with it, he is very friendly he fixed my old vacuum without trying to push me to buy a new one. Even though it took me 45 minutes to drive here I will be back.

The Owner is very knowledgeable I went in with a broken vacuum and he looked at it right away and let me know what was wrong with it. It would have only cost me $55 to fix it but I decided to buy a new machine to support this small business. I got a free education lol on how to maintain my vacuum and what makes some Vacuums better than others. Just an over all great experience.

I had taken my vacuum to another vacuum shop and they lied to me and told me my machine couldnt be fixed glad I found this place they fixed my vacuum and saved me from having to buy a new one. The prices are reasonable and the guy is very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place.

Had to come leave a review. I have been going to this man for about 10-12 years. I have seen him go from employee to entrepreneur/ownership. That speaks in itself. I have purchased 3 machines from him and I still own all 3! They all work very well and have more than paid for themselves. I have had people look at me funny for the money I spent on my machines, but as time went on, they began to see my argument when they are going out to buy vacuum #3 and the other two have been put out In the trash.

Love this little vacuum repair shop. I have been going here the past couple of years to have my sewing machine serviced and the owner always takes good care of me. Well now vacuum finally died so I went in and I was able to buy a $1000 machine for $300 now it was used but the machine works great. I just wanted to give a public Thank you to the owner.

Everyone please help me support this small owned vacuum shop he goes out of his way to make his customers happy. I needed a part for my vacuum that was no longer available and he made a few phone calls and found the part, drove and got it for me and had my vacuum ready the same day he replaced the cord, part and serviced it. He only charged me $75. I was impressed when my mom needs a new vacuum or another repair I am definitely coming here.

The only thing I wish is that you would stay open later than 6 if you stayed open pass 6 you would have gotten 5 stars from. My carpets thank you! My carpet cleaner is working like new. The gentleman in store checked my machine for free. My carpet cleaner hadnt worked for two years I was going to throw it away but a friend of mine suggested this place and I got my machine fixed and they saved me from having to buy a new machine and it only cost $48 Thanks again.

This is a great repair shop I took my sewing machine to shop in district heights and they had it for two weeks and couldnt fix in or at least couldnt do it in a timely manner I brought it here and it was fixed on the spot.

Very disappointed. I took my embroidery machine to be fixed on 8/13 and I was told that they fixed the problem. Took the machine home tried using it same problem it jammed. Also paid for a service tune up $127 took it right back on 8/20 and they have the machine for almost 2 months (10/12) kept getting the run around. Machine still not fixed. NEVER AGAIN. On top of them not fixing it, it looked as if the machine had been damaged with scuff marks all over it REALLY this is how you take care of your customers property. BAD BUSINESS DEFINITELY LOST A CUSTOMER.

I was upset to find out that most of the Oreck stores in the area had closed, so I search around for vacuum repair and found Universal Vacuums. To my surprise when I went into the shop I saw Sharif the guy that use to repair my machines in the Greenbelt Oreck vacuum store. Since I had driven so far he told me he would fix it the same day and to come back in an hour. He always gives me great service with smile. Glad I found him. A BIG THANK YOU.

Very Happy Customer A Plus service. I took my moms sewing machine here for service because she hadnt used it in years because it was jammed. I was trying to get it fixed for my moms birthday so she could start sewing again. I went in to the store to see if they fixed sewing machines because the sign outfront just says vacuums. The owner was very polite and he informed me that I sould bring it in or they could pick it. I scheduled them to come out and pick it up. They picked up my moms sewing machine and I ended up giving him my vacuum because it didnt seem to be working 100%. This was on a Tuesday they delivered both of them back on Thursday and they didnt charge me for the vacuum because they said it was something simple. Im happy and I know my moms gonna be happy when she sees this on her birthday. You have definately gained a customer.

This is my first negative review ever! I ordered two belts for my Vacuum on 1/13/16. I received nothing so I contacted the business on 3 FEB and spoke with a man who said he would put it in the mail 1st class and send me a confirmation number by e-mail so I could track its status. I confirmed all my contact information. I received no confirmation e-mail and have not received the product. Now they are not answering their phone. I have left more than a dozen messages with SPECIFIC information and nothing. Its only $6.73 but this is theft, and I thought the world should know.

I had my vacuum fixed here 2 months ago and it stopped picking up so I brought is back and the owner Sherif looked at it and I apparently got it caught on something and broke the belt he replaced the belt for free even though it was my fault I was amazed Thank you Thank you Thank you.
