My appointment was at 11:00 am at 1:00 pm they still had not started on my truck I asked why so long didnt have a answer. They finally got started on it had on lift for half hour or so finally took of dirt tire, when he said they were done my husband watched them lower it off lift and pull right out of bay, he asked the guy if they tricked the lug nuts the guy says Im sure they did. My husband told him that they had not so they pulled it back in so they could. When we went to get in the truck the guy had turn the radio to full blast and the heater all the way up also locked the truck but left the drivers window down. Finally left at 2:45 pm we will find some where else to buy tires next time just for better service!

Was in last week for an oilchange, asked the rep for the SPECIAL in the ad. Was charged 52+$ assumed it came with tire rotation. After services, tire light was still on. Asked tech to check and after waiting for 30min(he forgot abt me) he checked and said, his machine doesnt read my car. For me to go across the street to PEP boys. I left home. Over the weekend, I put air in my own tires. Noticed that one is low. After putting air in, my light went off. Today, my light came back on. Shouldnt they check the tires for nails, leak etc during the oil change? Anyways, I went there this morning at 8am. Doors were locked, guy inside says they dont open til 830, and that time shown on google is old🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 very unhappy with this. Have been using this location for several years. Will be taking my business elsewhere. Should I deduct more stars?

I’ve been to Discount Tires in Clovis multiple times and had wonderful experiences with their staff and service - I’d like to give them 5 stars. But I’m taking a few off because of my most recent visit. I went in for an oil change and tire rotation and asked them to take a look at the brakes as well. I didn’t make an appointment so I didn’t expect it to have my car back in a hour. When they called me to pick up my car just before closing, I didn’t take issue. What I did expect is for all the services I asked for to be completed. They weren’t. I knew one of my front tires needed a little air and assumed they would take notice when rotating my tires as this location had done in the past. They didn’t. I got my car back and that same tire (that should have been rotated) was still needing air and clearly in the same place. So what else didn’t they do? Did they bother to check my brakes like I asked? I’ll be going to another place later this week to have it looked over again. We rely on mechanics to help those of us who are not professionals to keep our vehicles safe for the road for our sake and for the sake of others. I don’t think I’ll be able to trust this Discount Tires again after years of them being my go-to. How disappointing.

Friendly and professional. Scheduled an appointment for a set of new tires. They found an awesome deal for my performance tires. They werent in the store and were delivered within hours all the way from Socal. They are the best tire company so far and Ive been going to them for years. David was such a helpful young man. When thinking of great service I think of brand names like Discount Tire Center which has always been our go to service place for our tire service. Never let us down with customer service, truly satisfying service. Over the past four days though I have not been able to drop in to ask questions so I used the phone service. Big mistake. I either get hung up on by the associate or no answer at all. Today, 6.16.21 I waited 1 hour 17 minutes being on hold for the female associate to answer after putting me on hold. When she answers she ignores the fact of being on hold for so long and when I ask her why there I had to wait so long she stated they’re understaffed. When I asked for a manager who is listed on the website she stated it is a different manager now and he is not available. I was prepared to spend the $1000 estimated for my truck quote on brakes and shocks. Their corporate receptionist stated I would get a call back within 24 hours from a manager. If this was you, would you go with a different company for better quality service, staffed service and to be taken care of as a loyal customer? Or would you remain the loyal customer letting the apologies be enough being prepared to spend a lot of money on a necessary family vehicle service? After all, everyone does have their own standard of quality service right. What’s yours?

We asked for tires change service and the installation of the missing bolts.They charged us FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS for changing ALL of the pre-installed bolts on the tires. (Service we obviously didn’t request)(From the photos you can see that there are still missing FOUR bolts, and they charged us almost ONE THOUSAND dollars in total for the job.)UPDATE: They didn’t install the tires properly, because now we’re having problems with the sensors, we first thought that they didn’t inflate them properly, but even after regulating the pressure the TPMS check light still persists.2ND UPDATE: They were available and they explained us the situation well enough: the problem with the sensors is not with the wrongful tire installation, but the simple fact that the battery of all the sensors has run out, therefore dead. So in short, we need to install new sensors because the ones we have are not functioning anymore. A thanks for the detailed explanation is in order.

Started out seeming great until after 2 hours of waiting for an estimate on my power steering when they werent busy at all, the guy calls the mechanic over to figure out which hoses i needed. After staring blankly at the screen for awhile says they need to replace the pump and 5 hoses. I had already determined one hose caused the leak and the pump still worked, but they wouldnt do anything without also changing the pump and all hoses to the total of $900 !!! For a simple power steering job NO I left.

I brought my car in for an oil change was told it would take 1 1/2 hours which would of been fine due to i would still make my appointment instead it took a little over 2hours so I missed my appointment. They never let you know how it was going with me or any other customers that were there before me. They had rolled my back window which I had them locked & when I called about it I was told they do that all the time just in case the keys get locked in the car. He then stated did you tell us not to roll your windows down I said No & that only the back window on the drivers side was rolled down. There was a long pause on his end. He asked if I could bring the car back & they would get the window up. I stated ok but I ended up having someone else do it. This is the 2nd or 3rd time I’ve been at this location the service prior to this day was good but the associate I dealt with I was told no longer worked there. There is really No Customer Service like it use to be. And I’ve been coming to Discount Tires for many years. But the last few times the service has declined both in performance & especially in management. It is sad that the Quality of Service as it use to be isn’t there & is declining.

Well hello this week at your store on willow and shaw is great but this time it was horrible went on fri to get new tires and element well element was great but the tires werent had to order them which was ok and the gentleman told use come back Saturday and he would be able to put tires on so we did come back and then he told use bye the time it was 3 in the afternoon he would not have time to put our tires on which we were not happy about because u dont tell a coustmer that u would have time and then dont but I the were so busy on fri they all just stood around in one spot and it upset use so we walked out and said we will take our business else were and thats how people lose business thank u hope it gets fixed at your store and there was 1 coustmer in the store

3 Stars is being nice. My husband and I stoped here to get a replacement tire after finding out it could not be patched. We arrived around 3:45 at 4:40 I asked my husband to find out what was going on. He comes back to tell me they don’t have the tire and they have to call a different store but they have not yet called the other store.... If my husband had not gone in there to ask what was going on who knows how long we would have been there waiting. Needless to say we got are old tire back and left. We will not be back there again. Also I do not understand the policy of cash only and why you can’t use your debit. The people there where friendly so that’s why the 3 star. Customer service not so good. Please just learn how to communicate with your customers.

The staff here were EXTREMELY helpful and accommodating! I had a nail in my tire and was quickly losing air. Their shop was 20 mins from closing and they took the time to assist me. Recognizing the urgency and desperation, they ensured I was taken care of and not left stranded. I will definitely be giving them my business in the future.

I had a flat tire, AAA came and had to call a tow truck. This was about 4:30. I called Discount Tires, spoke with John. He was so helpful, and even though he closed at 5 pm, he waited for me and had my tire fixed. I left at 6:05 . Since I bought my tires from him, no charge. He was professional, kind and helpful. Thank you.

I called the day before to make an appointment and was given a quote and appointment time. When I showed up the next day I was told it was their lunch time and they would get it done and to give them an hour. I was told an 1 1/2 max so I told the guy, who I might add was very friendly, the timeline I was given and would be back around then. Well when I got back it was still in the air without any tires so I left. Needless to say they had my car for 10 mins shy of 3 hours. Great day until then.

My first 3 visits were great iv put brand new tires all around and 3 seperrate vehicles and with some minor work done in order for the alignment to be proper... my last few visits not so good. My chevy has now had all new tires all the way around and since they either did not do a proper inspection or did not do the alignment right it caused the brand new driver side tire to get shredded at the edge ok, I take the truck in for a new tire and alignment I got the tire but they said I needed a list of parts in the front so I got the parts and put them on myself old parts were still fine so I thought they had just tried to play me to make one money but today they called and said my steering had qlot of play like my new parts were worn out so I came in I had them tighten things down and put grease in some of the parts and see if that fixes anything if not put a new outer tie rod on the driver side (that alone is 200 bucks! Expensive!) They still dont know why its like that Im shocked they couldnt even diagnose it or didnt even know what to do I had to come in and point them in the right direction Im still waiting on my truck waiting to hear back from them Im definitely done with this place I have spent thousands in about a year

You liar, came in to fix nail in tire and wheel rotation. nail in tire is fix no rotation. Did you think I wouldnt noticed. Thats okay at least my $20 nail is gone and tire holding air.

I went to Discount Tire because my car needed an oil change and tire rotation. I was greeted by a young saleperson. I was expecting to find an older saleperson that I had delt with not long ago. I explained to the salesperson that I was a long time customer of Discount Tire and could this salesperson do for me. The salesperson replied I can give good service and a good discount, I took it.

I worked with Jared, he was very helpful and he made me feel confidant that they would take care of me and my car. I have never really trusted taking my car to a mechanic but I do feel confidant that Discount Tire will be honest and do a good job whenever I take it there. Very helpful, friendly and patient. The only place I choose to take my car.

They did an expectation, then showed me what needed to be done and told me what happened to my car. Then showed me the price so i could agree on it. They also told me how long it would take. They did it on the time they said. They did an outstanding job. I recommend them.

This was by far the worst service I have ever received in any industry. They didn’t even know how to properly stow my spare tire. I had to show the manager the proper way to stow a spare under a truck. They got the key for the spool stuck, because they didn’t properly put it on the end of the rod. Now I have to disassemble the wench to fix it. He seemed ok with the incompetence of his team. I was ultimately left to do it myself. I have done business with discount tire for the last 6 years. This experience was so bad I will never do business with discount tire, at any location, ever again. I suggest anyone reading this protect their property by taking it elsewhere. These people will break your property and laugh about it. As I heard several of these clowns laughing after they left me to fix their unimaginably terrible work. I plan to bring this to the attention of upper management, and ask for my money back

My Boyfriend and I took our 2007 Mitsubishi Galant to Discount Tire with a lot of work that needed to be done. We have a long commute to work so we needed our car to be reliable. Discount Tire made sure that our car was in tip top shape to make the 45 minute commute to work. The guy that helped us (sorry but can’t remember his name) was very helpful with what needed to be done on the car. Our car was limited edition and needed special parts to be ordered. The worker was very kind on letting us know prices and how long the parts would be in getting there and when we needed to be there to drop the car off. It seemed the mechanic was also excited to work on the car and said that it was a lot of work that Discount Tire hadn’t done in awhile but he was very happy he got to work on the car. Altogether my boyfriend and I were very happy and satisfied with the work that Discount Tire had done. We will be returning customers.

Walked in/No appnt. 2PM on a Monday. Not a single car in the parking lot. Was quoted $91 for a single tire, more expensive than my normal spot but no big deal. Im told there will be a little wait as both Tire guys are on lunch. 1Hr and 40 Min later other customers are arriving and having tires put on and my car still sits where I parked it. Having no more time to waste I ask for my keys back and Inform them I cant wait any longer. Gentleman at the desk apologized and said he was struggling out there. He asked if I would like to return at a later time. I didnt want to be rude to the guy, but I will literally go ANYWHERE else before returning here.I went directly to a competitor who only charged $70, and got me taken care of in 15 min. Be considerate of ppls time, being less than truthful of your ability and time table is bad buisness.

I use discount tires for all of my trailer and truck needs sent an employee over today to get a valve stem changed and Makayla refused to change a simple valve stem because she said I did not have enough tread on my tire I will never be using discount tires again nor will anybody that I know this is terrible customer service

This location was very short staffed and had my vehicle ready an hour after closing when I dropped it off at noon. Inventory was low on tires. The worker who took care of my vehicle had to leave to get tires from another location just to get my vehicle done. Overall, not a good experience with this location.

My battery was just about dead. Your service people tested and put in a new battery. No one tried to talk me into additional work, which, since I am female, frequently happens when in other auto repair shops. I was kept informed on the status of the work as the new battery had to be delivered. I am happy with the new battery (although I wish it had cost less).

I came over for some repairs on my car here is the list.New tires, New brakes, New Shocks, And New rack pinion. Over $2,000.00 in repairs.A week later I took my car for a regular oil change, they recommended me to take my car back to where they did all this repairs since my power steering container was leaking and was almost empty.I took it back to this location and after few minutes they told me that it will cost me $550 in parts and labors to now fix what they broke, not only that the manager told me that they didnt touch the power steering at all. Seriously.!Horrible experience.

Great staff, always helpful and honest which is why I bring 3 of my cars here! I had my brakes and rotors done in Nov 2019, but recent in June 2020 they were giving me troubles when braking. I took it back in and they fixed the issue and honored their brake warranty! Thank you guys, for making it right and you can bet I will be a return customer for years to come.

Discount Tire Centers has become my go-to for car maintenance. The staff is always courteous and provides information/explanations for the work that is being performed on the vehicle or what is recommended, without pressure to add on services which I have experienced at other service centers and dealerships. It probably goes without saying it is also exceedingly more affordable than taking my car to the dealership.

I really enjoy the staff there. They are always happy. When they are out of stock they make it right thanks for you guys do.

Took my truck in twice, first to get an alignment at the Clovis location and then brought it back here (due to my work schedule) because it now pulls hard to the right post alignment. Was told they didnt know what the problem is after 2 hours and to put some miles on my brand new tires. It still pulls. I figured out the issue after jacking my front end up my self, tie rods and centerlink are worn. Expect to wait longer than they tell you as well.

Strongly recommend this placement! I went in to get a tire leak looked at and they replaced it quickly and professionally. Will definitely come back for any other repairs I may need.

My car is over 20 years old now and it seems like every week, there is a new issue popping up. The staff here have been able to look at my car, same day, every time I have had something go wrong. They are even open early evenings and weekends, which works great for my extremely busy schedule. Steven is the best tech Ive ever had. Jared was very friendly. The work got done. It took a little longer than the estimated time but I got tires and my alignment for almost the same amount that American Tires quoted just for tires. Also, tech advised me of brakes needing repairs.

Discount Tire Center in Clovis California did a wonderful job with giving us a great price on a set of new tires. They were highly efficient by not rushing the job and let me know not only what my poor alignment could do but the state of my breaks. The price was so reasonable on the alignment that we were able to take advantage of their great expertise. I definitely recommend this location particularly. Not only are they professional, and friendly they have their customers best interest at heart.
