I went into this store for a COVID booster two days ago. I was told I needed to make an appointment. I pointed out there was no one in the waiting area waiting for a shot. The clerk said there is a vaccine shortage. Drove to a nearby Giant Pharmacy and got my booster shot as a walk-in. So much for a shortage. Guess its time to switch pharmacies. This store has gone downhill since it first opened.
Called 2X trying to speak with someone like we use to back in the day. I wanted to schedule an appt at this location but the automated would not allow it. I ended up having to schedule thru the system. The automated system scheduled me at a different location and day that I really did not want. Customer Service is a thing of the past with many companies now. Sad!
I had THE most wonderful experience here. I’m pretty apprehensive to ask for assistance when I shop because I never want to be a bother AND honestly: good customer service is hard to come by. I was absolutely elated when a lovely employee here named Laura noticed I needed help and went absolutely out of her way to assist me. She went the extra mile and found me the item I was looking for (and it’s an item that is pretty popular and hard to locate these days.) She is an angel and she deserves all good things. I am so appreciative of her and the service I received in a world when it’s beyond rare. Thank you SO much, Laura. :)
I was going to buy a bunch of items but, the line was too long and the cashier was taking forever to ring up customers. There were plenty of other store employees that could have stepped up, but didnt. I will never go back here again.
Pharmacy used to be great, now it’s awful! It is slower than the MVA! They do not stay on top of their electronic prescriptions, several times I have had to wait for them to fill my prescription after getting a text saying it was ready, and when I tried to call them to let them know I’m supposed to get a refill on my prescription, I KID YOU NOT I WAS ON HOLD FOR OVER A HOUR!!! And if that isn’t bad enough, their drive thru pharmacy is constantly broken down!!! If you are considering this location for your pharmacy, reconsider unless you want to waste you time and go days without a prescription you need!
Ok. This place is amazing. The pharmacist and techs are so incredibly kind and helped me find the medication I needed and worked with my insurance when other Walgreens in the areas said they couldnt and told me just go somewhere else. They are amazing and I am so genuinely impressed with their amazing customer service. I wish I could give them ten stars. We need more people who actually care.
Terrible service by one employee at the pharmacy on repeated basis. She obviously is a nervous person who has no people skills. Why they keep rude, apathetic, creepy people who must deal with the public is a very good question. This is the best you have, Walgreens? If I didn’t have to pick up a prescription every so often, I would never go back. In fact, I may just choose a different pharmacy to avoid unwelcoming, scathing glances and poor service going forward. Get rid of her- you know who she is!
Pharmacist is absolutely awful. He is argumentative, not helpful, and rude.Lost my prescription for my depression, was quick to tell me my insurance doesn’t cover it and I would need to pay out of pocket. After going back and forth he gave me one emergency pill that he threw in a pill bottle which his demeanor was extremely uncalled for and unprofessional.I call my insurance company today and they sure do cover early refills. I call the pharmacist back so I can get my prescription filled and he argues with me, laughs in my face, and said “he will try to call to verify”This is my depression medication. This is not something I can go without.Save your time and go somewhere else like I will be doing.
When this Walgreens was first built, it was the best pharmacy. Now I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU USE THIS PHARMACY! The customer service is terrible, they make their own rules and every time I call I get hung up on. What kind of service is that? I will be switching pharmacies!
I have used several other pharmacies over the years and had many many negative experiences, but no issues at all since I switched to the Cockeysville Walgreens. I LOVE this pharmacy! The staff is always extremely helpful and professional and the pharmacists fill my prescriptions so quickly, I never wait long at all.
The worst managed store ever. I was told by three staff members that control scripts called in by a doctor just get thrown aside. They wont fill them unless you call ahead or come in. My doc called it in Friday, when I went in tuesday they said they never bothered to fill it but it would be ready in an hour. Later they called and said it was out of stock but was ordered. I called on the day it was supposed to come in and they said they had no explanation for why it didnt come in. That was a was friday so I had to wait until the following week. It did come in the next week but I had to sit onb the call holding to get through and was disconected 3 times before they would answer. FIRE THE MANAGER.
Terrible service in the Pharmacy and impossible to get anyone on the phone
Waited forever for a passport photo and now it was rejected by the passport office because the background was not proper for a passport photo.
With a rare exception I’ve found the pharmacy staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. I used Target for years but once CVS took over the pharmacy I couldn’t find another pharmacy fast enough. Glad a friend steered me here.
This is the worst walgreens location on the planet. The pharmacy is so messed up. 4 times Ive had issues 4 times they screwed up 4 times they were ride and this is the last time. DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION
Went on three different occasions to pick up the same prescription. After waiting in line over 20 min left. Had to stand in line this time because out of meds. After 20 min again the girl asked for help and a manager came out. Where was this manager when the line was 8 people deep?
This chain is preferred by expressscripts insurance and the store in new Hampshire is not bad, but Ive had problems here. My last statin prescription for 30 pills only had 20. I went back and they said for my trouble they put in a few extra. They must think I cant count because I only got exactly 10. Carelessness is not a quality I think drug stores should exhibit. I will change away from chain drugstores, especially Walgreens.
This is the worst pharmacy ever! I am a nurse in a Doctors office and I beg you do not use this Walgreens!! THE WORST! They dont even answer their phones
Getting ready to go out of the country for a week pharmacy closes @9 pm I call at 8:58 tell them that I can be there in 5 min. They stayed open 7 extra minutes. Great service, clutch play !!!
Staff is very nice, store is clean. Used pharmacy for the first time today and they helped with my insurance and filled them very quick.
I recently called to inquire a backordered supply of my medication to see when it was expected and to check availability at another Walgreens and was hung up on mid sentence after the first attempt. Called back and the same pharmacy associate answered the phone. I asked to speak to a pharmacy manager and was told they were too busy and she couldn’t check availability at other stores. This isn’t the first bad experience I’ve had with the pharmacy at this location. If your employees are too busy to do their job as needed, you probably need to add more employees. The current ones need training in customer service and manners. I’m not one to write reviews but I found this experience very upsetting and I hope that this reaches higher levels of management so this doesn’t keep happening.
The staff is usually very friendly... But the pharmacy ALWAYS takes forever to help you. Most recently, there was ONE person assisting customers, and after waiting in line for 15 minutes, I poked my head back and yelled Excuse me? and there were several pharmacy employees having personal conversations, and after being ignored, I just left, and returned at opening the next day. That seems to be the only way to avoid an outrageous wait for assistance.
What happened to the pharmacy? Something changed drastically to make them go down hill!
Im so tired of going to Walgreens and not being able to scan my items without getting in line. Cant there be at least one price checker somewhere?? Its incredibly inconvenient to have to get in a long line just for a price. Please please bring them back.
Terrible customer service. They lost my prescription. Technician/cashier did a bad job looking for it. I told her to check to see if it was filed under my first name rather than my last name and she wouldnt check. She checked a bin to see if it was on order. I told her probably not because I called the 2 prescriptions in on Sunday. Even though they had to call my doctor for refills and possibly order the items, it would have arrived on Monday or Tuesday and today is Wednesday evening. I also received a text Monday afternoon to say both prescriptions were ready for pick up. I even received another pickup reminder on Tuesday.Casier/technician ignored me and spent several more minutes checking the on order bin. They finally re-issued my medication. No apology from anyone. The pharmacist who re-issued the prescription did not bother to apologize, she let the cashier deal with the problem. I just wanted to hear, so sorry for having you wait etc. Anything! There is always a LONG line at the pharmacy after 5 PM which is when I pick up my prescriptions on my way home from work. Only 2 cashiers at that time. One for the drive through and the other for the counter. This is the 4th time in as many months that I have had prescriptions filled. There is always a problem, and always a long line. I never had any problems with the Rite Aid on Cranbrook Road which closed down in July. Unfortunately they transferred all the files from that Rite Aid to this Walgreens location on warren Road. I will be transferring all my prescriptions to Giant Pharmacy. I will never use this pharmacy for prescriptions again.
Absolutely awful and extremely rude pharmacy staff. Big fat zero customer service rating!👎🏻
What a Convenient Storehahahahahahaha
Nice place, very quiet and awkward feeling, feels like Im being watched! Pharmacy part of the store is great!
This is for the pharmacy they have had my prescription for a week now I went in Sunday to have it picked up no call no nothing and apparently theres an insurance issue and it needs to generic has not been ordered at all they say it will be ordered on Monday and be in Tuesday I go in on Tuesday nothing is ready and it still hasnt been ordered Ive gotten different stories saying that its a new medication and takes a while for it to come in and then another story saying that it was too late to order on Sunday and it hadnt been ordered yet no one has bothered to call me at all this entire week. I have been completely out of my kid medication for 3 days now and its something I take every day no one could help me or tell me when it would be in never going there again.Update: glad I had my doctor call this in to another pharmacy because when I called them back today they said they didnt see anything on their end that they were working on for this prescription and still wasnt ordered. It was supposedly ordered on Monday and reordered tuesday. Its Wednesday and still nothing and still no phone call or anything, again the prescription was sent over a week ago. I called to cancel.
This store doesnt deserve one star even. I had a Horrible experience back in April of last year. Very rude staff. The manager on duty saw a long line waiting and he kept insisting that his break didnt finish yet !! I tried to give a five to the cashier & she said Dont trick me, I wont let you run away with what you have. She thought that I would compromise my reputation for $17 !! Impolite & Arrogant.
Dont bother calling to ask if they have something in stock. They will tell you yes, and when you drive 20 minutes to pick it up it wont be in stock. Make sure to get the name of the person that tells you they have it because if you complain, that will be the first thing they ask for.
Worst pharmacy ever. Cannot ever get my script right.
They dont bother to follow up with people to let them know there is a problem filling a prescription, or that there is an insurance or authorization problem. This results in finding out late and potentially being without maintenance medication for longer than necessary because customer service is severely lacking. If you ask someone a question, there is a 99% chance they will either deflect, say I dont know, or just give you a blatantly wrong answer.
I wish I could leave no stars here. Seriously regret ever bringing my prescriptions over here from CVS, nothing but problems since I did that. The first time I went to pick up this prescription there they tried to charge me $30 when its supposed to be free. Put in for a refill of my prescription 7/3 and get an email saying theyll call when its ready on 7/6 and never called. I called the day after I was supposed to pick that prescription up (7/7) since I was supposed to be taking it the next day and Im told it was declined by the doctor, maybe because they want to see me. No call or email from walgreens until Ive already called them and found out for myself that they werent going to give it to me. My doctors office was closed because it was Saturday, call them during the week and even they dont know why the pharmacist would tell me it was declined since Im not due back until September. Theyre clearly not in sync with their automated calling service either since thats telling me my prescription is ready to pick up and their pharmacist is telling me no its not. My doctor mustve read my mind because when she called it back in she sent it to CVS and I thank her for that! Never using walgreens pharmacy again because its incredibly irresponsible to not notify your customer that there is a problem with their prescription for something they have to take everyday!
This rating is for the pharmacy. For some reason, I was charged very high for a prescription. I tried Wallgreens in Ellicott City which is not far from where I work and it was half the price for the same prescription. Im not joking. I talked to someone from Wallgreens and even they said it was odd because they are in the same region. They charged me $90 here and gave me two half full bottles. At Ellicott City, they gave me one full bottle and charged me $44. Weird.
They did for me great job whit the photos
This place is a dump
Terrible pharmacy not professional should not have taken Rite AID CUSTOMERS can not handle the load this is not the first time i have had a horrible experience
Staff not knowledgeable
