Classic old school local diner. Not many of these kind of places left anymore sadly. This is the place to go if youre local. The tourists dont come here and honestly Im glad. Some things should just be sacred. The food is excellent very good prices very good portions and its always busy for that reason.
I really enjoy going there. The food is great prices are reasonable and the staff is excellent they take care of me. Even if I go in by myself without a friend Im welcome. I have an electric wheelchair and they helped me to get in and out I have no problem whatsoever. And the food is so good
One of the best dive diners Ive been to. I had the BLT and fries. Both were fresh and tasty. The tomato was fantastic. Many other menu choices that I want to try. Prices are humble and staff very friendly. Definitely recommend and will be back

Food is always good just basic cooking. Attitude of the servers have become more welcoming since grandma isnt there everyday.

Great old school diner. Friendly, courteous staff. Manners go a long way towards elevating something from good to great and in this instance great to exceptional. Biscuits and gravy were absolutely on point. If I had a complaint, it’s that I came with an unprepared appetite for the portions.

WOW, absolutely delicious, this is what the definition of breakfast is, I had fried pork chops, buttered grits, eggs and wheat toast, the pork chop was cooked perfectly and seasoned to a T. This will be my go to breakfast place now. I use to go to Southern Charm, Dixon Diner will be well worth the ride...😋
I ordered coffee and awaited the waitress after her telling me 3 times be right with you, she took the order of the large table ahead of me .great! Then she continued to tend others..then took an order of a male who just entered and put his order in before even taking mine. I would not recommend the service..I never had the opportunity to try the food due to the inadequate service. Try at your own risk you may have better luck with an experienced attentive waitress.
Ive been to numerous diners in the cocoa-melbourne area and Dixon Diner always out preforms the rest. The staff are amazing, food is good and cheap. The layout and decor of the dining to gives you a down home feel. The biscuits and gravy are some of the best this side of I-95. The waitresses remember your name and oder after only a handful of vists. I appreciate that Dixon is open from 6 am, the only other diner worth their salt opens at 7 am which is a bummer for those who have to be at work soon after 7. All in all a good place to visit for breakfast and lunch. Highly recommend Dixon Diner for your next luncheon.
ALWAYS GREAT Service and delicious be good!!! Waitresses are amazing treat you like family !!! This is our favorite place to go as they have a huge selection for breakfast lunch and dinner. We go to eat enjoying ourselves with family, as a couple and with the kids several times a week.

Dixon Diner serves the best breakfast in town. I have eaten at many of the diners in the Cocoa, Fl area and none of them can compare to this one. The waitresses are very friendly while remaining professional. There is little to no wait time to be acknowledged and waited upon. The atmosphere is friendly and the food is excellent. I have nothing but praise for Dixon Diner and would recommend it to anyone seeking a great meal in a family like atmosphere.

Very nice people, but was very cold in there. We had an ac unit blowing directly on us and halfway thru our meal, the food had gotten literally cold. Not a good thing. Food was good but got cold fast and couldnt really enjoy.

Eggs was not cooked correctly. They cooked new ones that werent that great, egg was cooked all the way. Ordered and extra piece of french toast and it cost $2.75 for one slice of bread.
They have the best corn beef hash. Their country gravy over hash browns were very good. And yummy coffee. Friendly staff.

I called the other day to order food they gave me the wrong order should have checked first. Then when they called me to see where i was i explained to them and also called me double of what it was. She said that i can give them my name and that i can order in a couple days. I call and they tell me they wouldnt fix the problem always loved their food but wont be going back dont tell someome something and take it back.

If youre in the area and want some good home cooked meals then this is the place. The food comes out reasonably fast and is very filling. We had the meatloaf lunch special, the bacon cheeseburger with the works and fries & onion rings, served by an attentive wait staff, who checked on you often, with a friendly attitude.Plenty of parking and with an attractive price for the food. Will come back to visit Cheyenne, Darcy & Savannah. Cheers

In Cocoa Florida there are two top dogs when it comes to breakfast one is Mitchells Diner and the other one is Dixon Diner. One pricey and Superfresh made by order where the other one has a better variety and still Thrifty on the pocket. If you go to Dixon Diner youre sure to have a great meal and 7 times Outta 10 a cute friendly young waitress with a smile and a great attitude serving you. Only thing I would recommend is its time the owner put a little love back into the restaurant. Dixon is getting kind of dark and dingy and half the time the girls dont turn on the radio anymore for a little background music. Id say paint the walls and ceilings turn the radio on and leave it alone. A TV screen to watch the news would be nice but is unnecessary.😂😉

This Diner is family owned and operated. The waitresses are sisters. They are sweet and likeable. The food was good 👍. Country Home Cooking. Similar to the food my Dear Mother would make.
We eat there a lot. Food is almost always great. Especially weekly specials on Friday night. Pot Roast is good too on Thurs. Spaghetti/Italian dish on Wednesday.Breakfast our most frequent meal there.

This place is a local gem. It may not look like much on the outside, but their tables are spotless their service is wonderful and their food is absolutely delicious. My companion had the cheese grits and mentioned that they were probably the best ones that shes ever had. I had sausage and eggs with hash browns that were done to perfection. Your order comes up fast and its cooked just right. I highly recommend this place. Very relaxed atmosphere. Very relaxed atmosphere. It is definitely a place that the locals know and return to regularly.

Another hidden gem. Great home cooking food and the staff is friendly and great service. At first I was hesitant to visit but I drive by it every day. I saw it had good reviews and now I see why. You will be pleasantly surprised as I was on my first visit and now I visit often.
Hamburgers here are huge and are great. One person ordered a burger medium and it was definitely served rare but was eaten anyways and enjoyed. Fair amount of seasoning on the burgers that I enjoyed. Two burgers, fries, and drinks will run around $20. I will definitely return for the burgers and to try other dishes. Very friendly and accommodating staff that hustle. Kind of a snug, hodge-podge style diner with residential fridges and paneling.
This diner was fabulous. I changed my mind a half a dozen times about what I was going to order everything looked so good. I ended up with a awesome fried fish sandwich. The fish I chose was cod real cod people great batter and so much to eat!!!! They have everything from breakfast to dinner. Ill be back for sure.
